I received an email saying that I had to sign in in order to keep my account. I did not click on the link provided since I thought it might be a scam. Was this a valid email? If so, is signing in now meet the requirement to keep my account?

It's sort of difficult for me to explain. Other than I have used both Mozilla and Google. I have a Gmail account and a Proton mail account and I changed my email for Gmail by eliminating the last four digits of my social security number. Which used to be my Gmail address and I believe that I was using my last four digits for my proton mail account also? But to be honest I am not really sure of that? So to attempt to simplify my situation. [edited] @gmail.com is my email address for Gmail and I really don't know if I changed this for proton mail account also. I am definitely getting old. Because I will be 68 on the 23 of this month. And I remember the days when none of this even existed. So I am sure that there must be someone who can help me straighten this mess that I created out and please help me simplify my life again. Thanks to whoever reads this and replies. They have to understand that cell phones didn't exist for me and many others when I was young. Computers didn't exist as we know them then either. But obviously I have learned alot in my 68 years of existence.

Hello, Having followed the advice as under: If you've previously made use of Firefox Sync, please make sure you're signed into your Mozilla account and have enabled Bookmarks within your Sync settings, because Firefox will automatically download any available data from our sync servers as long as you are logged into the account you used to sync.

Additionally, please consider that if your bookmarks are still available in the local storage of another device, signing into Sync on these devices will let you upload this account data and make your data accessible on any other devices you enable Sync on.

Andd checking the the Bookmarks tick-box was checked [as was last attempt] I tried to sign in to open the required page, but got 2 x 'error' windows, as attached, one for enail address [been using this for 2 yaers] and the other for password [how did I get this page up with the wrong password??]

I want to change the email associated with my account. However I can't add a secondary email and then make it the primary, as is suggested in all search results, because the primary email has been defunct for years. (I have had no reason to enter the account since that time.) Therefore I cannot receive the code to allow me to add the email. How can I proceed? Thanks in advance. My Firefox account was initially set up through https://accounts.firefox.com.cn. With the new Firefox version, this login method no longer works, causing me to lose access to all my bookmarks. What solutions are available to recover my bookmarks from the https://accounts.firefox.com.cn account? Here is My Email: [email removed]

I realised just now that you have taken a sum of $11.88 USD out of my account for item:Billing ID B-86G41030N7218381P Mozilla. What am I paying for? You took this without prior warning and letting me know what it is for. I will probably cancel this if you are not forth coming and if you dont answer I will put PayPal on the case. I keep getting messages from Firefox to confirm account with the code. Looks like somebody keeps trying create an account with my e-mail address. I never hit confirm and I just delete the message. I keep changing my password.

I have two separate Firefox accounts, one for personal use and one for business use. The accounts solely exist for the purpose of changing devices and syncing bookmarks, as I upgraded my personal computer some time ago, and recently upgraded my work laptop. When I went to log into the work account after changing laptops, I was forced to use the app to log in. I logged out of my personal account to log into my work account, but it appears that my bookmarks for both accounts are synced to both accounts. Is there a way to check if the accounts are linked, and if so, is there a way to unlink the accounts, so I can keep the bookmarks separate?
