I'm using bandlab to link me and my friends who are hundreds of miles away to make music. Firefox and all browsers crash a lot with a "high memory usage" alert. But these are pretty big projects. I have 32GB RAM, this thing is crashing at much lower RAM levels than I would like for it to use. like 1GB seems to be the limit (i dont know that number if its exact or correct)

Is there any setting where I can INCREASE memory usage so I dont lose work from random crashes due to memory usage?

After many months of asking if my computer could update Firefox, I finally agreed 2 days ago. I'm trying to shop for gifts on Cutter & Buck's web site and no data and photos will show up. Nothing shows. (cutterbuck.com)

Suddenly my Firefox browser won't open popular websites, such as Schwab, Facebook and Wells Fargo. It displays an error message that the site uses Java, and that I need to enable javascript. When I check in Settings, javascript is already enabled. I tried restarting and reinstalling without success. When I use the Chrome browser the sites work normally.

For some reason, the bullets used to hide a password are not rendered properly in Firefox. As shown by the first uploaded image, they are displayed as big white-filled circles.

This problem does not occur on chromium-based browsers, as shown by the second uploaded image, which is a screenshot taken from chromium, on the exact same session.

I have already done the following:

• verified that the "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" box is checked in my preferences. I have also tried disabling and re-enabling this option
• launched FF in troubleshoot mode to disable extensions and hardware acceleration
• verified that gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled is set true in my about:config

All of these attempts however failed to solve the problem.

This problem is occurring on a fresh install of a Linux distro, so I first thought that I might be missing some fonts, but the problem might lie somewhere else since the symbols are properly displayed in chromium-based browsers.

Hello, about 1-2 weeks ago a very strange problem occurred - on some pages videos don't play at all or play without a sound. Can anyone help me with this strange situation? For example, every video on youtube.com plays without a problem; on facebook.com every video plays with no sound at all; on some other pages video doesn't play at all. This problem is only with firefox, if I try to open the same videos with another browser everything is fine.

Prior to about a month ago, downloading worked as expected: - click a link - the save to... dialog opened - choose the folder - the download is off and running

No more. For about the past month - click a link - wait for a long time with FF frozen - the a wheel starts rotating - after a full minute (or more) the save dialog appears.

Something has been broken in the mad-dash to push updates. It's fine for browsing, but the, you need to download. At that point you wish you were using a different browser (any other browser, in fact) since FF is the only oe that has this problem. Downloading works fine in a 8 chromium browsers that I have and in the 5 FF clones (like Waterfox)

It's just FF that's broken. I can no longer afford to set it as default because of this. The others are not perfect (WF won't activate Pocket, foe example) but downloading promptly is critical.

Hello, I have a weird bug with the firefox browser causing weird graphical glitches only on the main screen when a HDMI cable is plugged in on the duplicate mode. I have found that is is only on firefox and not my desktop or any other programs. Firefox is up to date and the issue is fixed when the HDMI set to extend

I'm unable to open pdf in mozila as it is showing access denied in acrobatservices.adobe.com in the all other browser its opeing perfectly please fix this issue vfast

Hello there, for past few days I'm having issues mainly on Twitch.tv - the streams do work fine, but whole website is displayed as text - Avatars, emotes, badges are displaying as text, or don't display at all, I'm attaching screenshots as examples. What I've tried - restarting PC, router, full re-install of Firefox, disabling all add-ons and uinstalling them (7tv and FFZ), private mode, troubleshooting mode, creating a new profile in Firefox, checked firewall settings, checked AV settings and did multiple scans - nothing was found, tried changing Firefox security Settings, also cleared cache and cookies.

Regarding other websites - this is completely random, mail works, some websites also do, but on some it gets stuck, like for example when I have to do a 2FA somewhere and get a pop-up window to click "login" or type a code, it just gets stuck and nothing shows up.

Not sure if this helps, but exactly same issues appear on different browsers - Chrome, Edge, but only on PC. I tried Firefox on mobile and it worked just fine.

If I can provide more details please let me know, I did attach the "Troubleshooting Information" so hopefully this also helps.

Every time I open Firefox, it crashes immediately and does not trigger the crash report window. Even though I have checked and enabled the option to send crash reports in the settings, it doesn't work. When I look for crash report logs, it shows that I have not sent any crash reports.I've tried many methods to view the crash report, but it just shows that there are none. I only found this information related to crash reports in the installation files.(you can see it in the picture)，hope someone can answer this question, thank you very much.😭

when i go to my amazon vendor central account i cannot access purchase orders. i get to a blank page that has this code on it:

I have display problems with Beta 127 (b4) on a Windows ARM PC (Adreno 685 GPU). FF itself and websites. Version 126 and later runs fine. These errors do not occur when hardware acceleration is switched off!

I have been using Firefox for many years and never had issues. Two days ago, I turned on my HP with Windows 10 and I got a pop up message something about Error Platform 126.0 XUL Runner is not compatible. I could not access Firefox, Google, or the internet. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled, but after that, everything runs very slow. Each time I go into a website, it can take up to over a minute to pull up! I cannot even delete email from my Gmail! It's piling up. Downloading can take over an hour! I checked all the trouble shooting forums in Mozilla and tried just about everything. I went back into "About:profile"s and created a new profile. It it did not make any difference. I also did a Firefox refresh. Did not help any. I went back into the profile I had before the XUL error because my bookmarks were there. Still slow. I cleaned out the cache, in both Firefox and my Windows 10. made no difference. I only have three extensions in Firefox. I don't know what else I can do to fix this. Also, my drivers and other software are automatically updated by Windows. My HP is only 2 years old as well. Everything was fine in Firefox until that XUL error message popped up and I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. That is when everything became agonizingly slow!

Update: My computer is barely usable anymore because of the Firefox issue. Having to wait for a minute or more for everything I do on the internet? I know it cannot be my computer itself because it is not even two years old yet. I may have to dump Firefox if I cannot get this fixed. I have Norton 360 and it is not malware or a virus. Firefox messed something up.

The USPS website does not work properly with Firefox!! The Home page loads okay but there are multiple other issues with links not working. For instance all of the links under Quick Tools do not work except this one: https://www.usps.com/manage/po-boxes.htm. Other things don't work either.

Everything works fine that I tried with Google Chrome though! Please address soon.

We have a noticed a very strange behaviour with the latest FireFox (126). One of our webpage is behaving differently across our Integration and production environment. Both env are running identical code and similar network stack the only difference we have noticed so far is for our Integration env Firefox is sending the different user-agent string than for production.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Open https://integration4-view.publitas.com/automation-int4/reader-happy-path/page/1

2. Go to console and view navigator.userAgent the user-agent string will be:

    "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:126.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/126.0" 

3. Now open the same content on production -> https://view.publitas.com/automation-prod/reader-happy-path/page/1

4. Go to console and view navigator.userAgent the user-agent string will be:

   "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) FxQuantum/126.0 AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/103.0.5060.71 Safari/537.36" 

Our website changes behaviour based on which browser it is and based on second string our backend interprets the browser as chrome instead of Firefox.

If I change privacy.resistFingerprinting to True then the user-agent string is sent correctly.

Can you please help us identify what changed in the latest version that is causing this behaviour.

Version: 126 (64 bit) Test on Windows 11 and Mac OSX

It takes a lot longer than it should to load my home page, MSN. This problem is more pronounced with Firefox than other browsers. What can be done to load the home page faster? And, in general to load websites? Can someone help? Thank you.

Had an update for Firefox happen last night and now the Duck Duck Go extension will not work. Just goes search not found?

Here is the error - There was an error displaying the search results. Please try again. When I turn off the extension Firefox runs fine.

I had turned off the extension first and turned back on same issue. Removed extension and reloaded same issue. Restarted router same issue. I have uninstalled Firefox and then reloaded same issue with Duck. Duck Duck Go works in my Edge browser
