Right-click/edit bookmark option, but only Name, URL, Tags and Keyword showing... no (folder) Location

I recently updated Firefox on my computer. After that, I can't find my old Bookmarks.
Also I find that I am UNABLE to add any new Bookmark. When I click on the 'Star' in the browser toolbar, there is nothing. Before I used to Get the Add Bookmark tab and a place to SAVE, now there is nothing.
Even after I type in the URL in the address bar, and open up the required page, I am unable to Add it to my Bookmarks.

Depuis quelques temps, je n'arrive plus à enregistrer les pages internet dans mes favoris. "L'étoile" réagit au passage de la souris mais ne se colore plus en bleu comme avant.
J'ai toujours accès à ma liste déjà enregistrer, je peux les ouvrir mais je ne peux pas supprimer les marque-pages non plus.
Sous Win 10, j'ai bien vérifier que Firefox était bien à jour.

I cannot find how to add a New Bookmark to an existing bookmark folder from the screen when I am visiting a Website I wish to Bookmark. Should be simple, but I cannot find out how to do it. There is no simple drop down menu that says ADD BOOKMARK and give you a choice of what folder to save it in. HELP !!!!!!!!
When I create a new bookmark folder, it has the name "new folder." How do I change it to something more meaningful?

Why has this occurred, suddenly, and how can I fix it without hiring an IT pro? I have been using Firefox as a browser for over twenty years and this has never happened before. I am using Windows 10 and Firefox 146.0.1. Thanks, James.
the toolbar with all my bookmarks is gone. The bookmark manager is empty and when I try and bookmark a tab, I cannot Save. The Save Button is grayed out.
