I reinstalled windows on my laptop, and when i installed firefox and signed in with my account, none of the old settings, bookmerks, singins etc got synced. I downloaded newest version from website. Does anybody have a solution to this problem?

i just downloaded the new version onto my macbook pro, and have lost all my bookmarks and other settings which is very annoying. It wants me to sync with another device but I DON'T WANT to do that !! how can I avoid this and restore my settings/bookmarks etc or barring that, dump the new version and go back to the old one which worked fine which hopefully still has all my settings ?

Hello, I just joined Firefox Sync today because I got a new computer. I am in the process of moving all my info to the new machine. I set up an account on Firefox Sync for both computers and checked all the boxes. It appears that my history, bookmarks, etc all synced properly but when I go to the Firefox Lockwise page on my new computer it only has 2 saved logins, whereas my current computer has over 200 saved. I did a manual sync and refresh but no more logins have populated that page. Is there another way to transfer those logins? I really really don't want to have to manually log in again to all those websites. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance!

Hi :) Long story short, my laptop broke and I had to reinstall windows and all my data got lost. When I installed firefox and synced nothing happened. In synced devices it's still showing that I'm connected (it's showing 2 devices for the same laptop). Is there any way that I can restore my bookmarks?

Every time I close Firefox, reopening makes Firefox unsync and causes me to sign in again

I've looked at a number of answers to this similar problem and none of them have helped. I never had this issue with Chrome or Safari, just Firefox. Whenever I close Fire… (funda kabanzi)

I can connect to this support using the account, but not using sync on my devices.

My mail is a valid email address, and there was some temporary problem with the mail server which explains why the mail was returned.

What can I do to get back my account? The « let us know » link leads me here.

Hi, I'm using both Linux and Windows on my computer. I've got problem with firefox sync, on Windows I'm using program like IDM and also use it's extension on Firefox. Meanwhile, on Linux this extension is useless. If I turned it off while on Linux, when I relogin to Windows, this extension also get turned off, I understand this is due to Firefox sync nature, but its so ineffective if I've got to turn it on and off while switching between OS.

Is there any workaround for this?

I have a Firefox HTML Document issue on my Windows 7 computer. I successfully used FF as my browser. I stupidly added BING to my computer and it took over FF! Now when I click on the FF icon, up comes the BING page. I've lost the FF browser and can't download a new one. I tried to delete BING totally, but the message said no because it is in a FF HTML document and can't be deleted. Any ideas on how to locate an FF HTML document on my computer? I've tried several ways, but no luck. Thanks for reading.

I've recently finished building a new computer and have been working on setting everything up, and Firefox Sync has made restoring my browser info quite easy. However I've got two other computers I'd like to try and transfer data from, and unfortunately made the mistake of not syncing the browsers between those two computers beforehand.

So I'm wondering if it's possible to sync the data between the browsers on all three computers and how to do so, and if I attempt to sync the data between them, will they merge together or will one overwrite the other?

Firefox sync has not been working for me for some time, and I'd like to get it operational again. I'm trying to sync between a Mac Pro (FF 81.0.2), a MacBook Pro (FF 81.… (funda kabanzi)

Firefox sync has not been working for me for some time, and I'd like to get it operational again. I'm trying to sync between a Mac Pro (FF 81.0.2), a MacBook Pro (FF 81.0.2) and an iPhone 6 (FF Daylight 29.0). Nothing whatsover syncs.

So far, I've updated all browsers, and re-paired the iPhone with the QR code. I've also logged out of my FF accounts at the same time on all devices, and back in again. (That's what's recommended at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-sync-troubleshooting-and-tips#w_i-set-up-firefox-sync-but-nothing-is-syncing, though that links to a page that is said to be out of date).

I can't see any obvious errors in the computer names, or anything else.

Any suggestion for further investigation, please?
