Hi!

I am getting messages that I am blocking ads for many of my internet requests. I had never received these before but all of a sudden I started to get them. I have tried a number of things but nothing works.

I am running Windows 11 and do not have any Ad blockers.

I moved the downloads folder via File Explorer to OneDrive. So now it's like this:

c:\users\[username]\OneDrive\Downloads

But Firefox keeps wanting to save files to the original location:

c:\users\[username]\Downloads

All other apps seem to respect this setting other than Firefox. Any ideas?

I am using apache tomcat web server at 127.0.0.1 If I access Windows r %mis_int% it is opening https://127.0.0.1/postofficeinterest.html However it is displaying the warning: Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead To resolve this error I used to perform following action: Tools => Settings => Search Trust => Click View Certificates => Add exception => provide https://127.0.0.1/postofficeinterest.html Click Get cerfiicate Click Confirm security exception Press Ok Refresh https://127.0.0.1/postofficeinterest.html This is displaying updated page at local host. However I am having clogall shell script inside bash.exe (putty.exe) at localhost This used to clear all cache and files at /tmp and $TEMP directories at windows and cygwin. Due to this if I open %mis_int% again it is reporting same security warning. clog actions: 1. cd /cygdrive/c/Users/MURUGE~1/AppData/Local/MICROS~1/Edge/USERDA~1/Default/Sessions Remove all https...microsoft all wastage of memories Remove all cookies at banking/post office session related entries I need to know how to remove exception "Potential Security Risk Ahead" without adding localhost certificate again ? clogall never use .cer *.crt related sed -i actions. I used to upload postofficeinterest.html to geocities after testing that file at localhost.

My PC uses Windowss 11 and I'm on Mozilla. My security programs are Malwarebytes Premium, Windows Defender.Security, and Acronis. There is an Extension called, 'Protect My Choices'. Love It! I have it on all my Browsers. It keeps alot of junk off from my PC. In all my other Browsers, in the Extension details it states "Automatically allow access on the following sites:" I just don't move the button over to on, and the Extension keeps all that junk off from my PC. In Firefox, the above statment and the botton is absent, and all that junk is allowed onto Firefox (Yikes!). I went through Mozilla's Help, Troubleshotting, and Search. I haven't been able to find any clue as to how I can get this Extension to work in Firefox. Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated. I've just reinstalled Windows and Firefox browser so how can I get back my Synchronized bookmarks??Are they all lost?Because I sing in and trying ot synch but nothing changes.Thank you.

Hello! Since 9th of july web version of telegram app doesn`t work. Please, help to solve this issue. Mobile version of telegram works fine, as a web version in another browsers, except Mozilla. In attached file you can see how telegram displayed in Mozilla.

I recently pinned Firefox to my Taskbar. When I right click to choose a task to perform (e.g. Open New Private Window), Alson with the list of task choices, there is a long list with the heading "Frequent" of sites that I have visited. So far, the on;y way i can get rid of the items in Frequent is to right click and "Remove from this list" which is time consuming and annoying. How do I get rid of/stop this list from showing

As of 7/10/2024, I cannot sign in to ATT.com via Firefox. Other web browsers work correctly. The site generates a "902" error (proprietary). In the console, I see a failure to load 2 scripts:

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://signin.att.com/static/thirdparty/adobe/detm-container-hdr.js”. LrrController:33:2 Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://signin.att.com/static/thirdparty/adobe/detm-container-ftr.js”.

Note that I can click that link in the console and each of those scripts loads. I have tried disabling tracking protection for the site as well as disabling the adblocker.

Hey guys. Just bought a new pc with a RTX 4070 ti super GPU. FF is my browser, and when i google i see VSR is supported in FF. But watching videos in FF does not activate RTX VSR, it stays inactive in the Nvidea control panel.

When i use Chrome browser it works as it is supposed to, it says active and i can see the video quality is improved. Is the feature just broken in FF at the moment, or is there some settings i can change in FF to make it work today?

(i checked about:config and gfx.webrender.overlay-vp-super-resolution is set to true)

Prior to today, on my Edwards Jones site, I could click on market commentary or check on latest CD rates and see results. But today, you have apparently changed the way 'embedded sites work and it traps an error. Right clicking on the link does not work ... So this obviously your latest new and improved feature to protect my security does not work as intended . . . what are you going to do to fix it? The Tesco website works OK with Edge on the same machine and Firefox 127.0 on another machine. I think this is a known problem is there a fix/work around?

When I log into Tesco, it will not load and says, your browser(firefox) has failed security checks. I am using Norton 360 and run a full scan with no indications. All other apps and icons load using Firefox. Tesco refuses to. I have removed it and re-loaded it several time. I worked well untill yesterday when I did some routine windows updates.

I have 2 workstations and I use firefox as my primary web browser for both workstations. My office computer gets secure connection failed which is my main computer but I'm able to logon with my laptop computer without any issues. The site is internal which access our monitoring software for wireless. I'm able to access the site via other browsers, Chrome & Edge on my office computer without any issues. Not sure what else I can do to make this work on my office computer since this is the main computer I use. The following is what I get:

Hi, firstly, I am not very technical so I will describe my issue as simply as I can. When I open my Application Menu (3 horizontal bars on the top right hand side of my screen, underneath the X) and click on the Bookmarks heading, there is a heading showing as Recent Bookmarks. This then lists bookmarks that I have used. As I do not want this list. How do I stop/get rid of this "Recent Bookmarks" heading &/or list. Thank you to anyone who can help (without a lot of jargon/computer speak).

I'm not sure why I get this message: "This site isn't currently available in the EU", but only on my Windows 11 laptop. I don't get the message on my cell phone; instead it goes right to the website. They both use Mozilla/Firefox. here's an example: "https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1/messages/AN6WxktugKP1Zo6E-gXQSGxZLg4." Connection button shows that the site is secure. I have not cleared the cookies. When I select any one of the subjects in the email which are usually local news items I get this response: "This site isn't currently available in the EU." Here's an example of one of the items: "https://www.audacy.com/wwjnewsradio/news/local/michigan-man-guilty-of-making-threat-of-msu-stage-act-2?utm_source=WWJ-AM&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=WWJ-AM%20NEWSLETTER&utm_content=WWJ%20Daily%20Recurring%20Newsletter&mi_u=1655089&mi_ecmp=WWJ%20Daily%20Recurring%20Newsletter."

The problem is I'm not in the EU and it appears that I might be dealing with a tracker but when I scan the computer there is no evidence of that. Is there something else that might be going on?

I am able to set Firefox as my default browser, but as soon as I close out, it is no longer the default browser.

Another issue I have is that I have a message at the top of the Settings page indicating that some other organization is managing Firefox. I have read all the support notes on this problem, but the one the instruction that I think would work is grayed out so I can't change the parameter.

I work in IT and unfortunately I am working on too many brand new and obscure devices, they have expired and self-signed certs and I can't just keep trusting them, even though thats not working. I need to be able to completely turn off all protections for SSL certs if I can.
