I have 3 machines. One machine has less add-ons than the others. Most of them sync up, but not all. Maybe it's an OS issue?

Ubuntu 20 - sync working Win 10 Enterprise (Firefox Portable) - sync working Win 7 Home - missing add-ons

I have "add ons" checked in Settings/Sync on all 3 machines. Not sure what else to describe.

Obviously I want all machines to have the same add-ons, which is why I selected sync.

 I have started having issues with links not working on webpages that I normally have no issues with.  For example,

https://www.walesonline.co.uk/. I can see news items and when I mouse-over links I can see the link detail at the bottom left. However, when I left click, nothing happens. I thought it may have been an issue with my home PC but I have the same issue with my work laptop, which is a corporate build. This has been happening for around a month and seems to be spreading to more websites. Can you advise what could be the cause please?

I have a problem with a ping jumping when FireFox is running. Look at the image: the first pinging is when FireFox is NOT running, the second one – when it is running. The problem appeared after Win 10 reinstallation.

For web browsing, watching videos and downloading files it doesn't have much impact, BUT it is impossible to play video games: the ping rises to 300-1000.

Additional information: 1. I have an antivirus Kaspersky Internet Security program. It was installed even before Win 10 reinstallation. 2. I have not any VPN or proxy. 3. I use Wi-Fi with 802.11ac standard. Using another standard or another router doesn't have any impact. 4. Other devices are pinging the router with good delay (1-4 ms). 5. Using the Ethernet interface is NOT a solution for me. 6. Full name of Wi-Fi adapter is Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter.

How I tried to resolve this problem: 1. The command netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="Беспроводная сеть" is fixing the issue, BUT the laptop doesn't see any Wi-Fi SSID and after reboot I have to enter the command with "yes" parameter and then "no" again. This is only a temporary solution! 2. I have reinstalled the driver for the Wi-Fi adapter from official website of the laptop manufacturer, from Realtek official website, from other sources to install older drivers. Sometimes it effects on maximum ping value, but it is still bad. 3. I tried to run Google Chrome and MS Edge. It solves the issue, but I prefer to use FireFox! 4. Commands ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew and ipconfig /flushdns have not any effect.

How can I fix the problem and continue to use the laptope and the FireFox browser as I did it before?

I am using the latest version of Firefox as of 08/26/2021, and the tabs menu (which also has the 3 other buttons to manipulate the window) isn't displaying anymore. If it weren't for the keyboard shortcuts, I would not be able to do anything, as only the bookmark and URL bars are showing up. What should I do ?

Started up my PC today, and my bookmarks are gone.

Saw the suggestion to restart, it didn't work.

Followed down the list and tried to load up back ups from the previous days, didn't work.

Tried several days, no help.

Now Firefox won't even let me create a new bookmark.

Is there a virus involved? Is microsoft attacking browers they don't make? What the heck?

Hello. I've just bought my first laptop today and still has a lot of things I need to set up. Now before downloading Firefox I made sure to download the US version of Firefox. And after it finished installing I double checked that the language is set on English and also add alternative language (Korean). It displays websites in correct language however, I noticed that the hamburger menu somehow shows 2 different language, 1 in English and the other in my local language (Indonesian), how do I fix this? It's so frustrating I don't want to use my local language, it's very awkward.

After recent Firefox update all of our profiles have disappeared. (And all our bookmarks and passwords, too!) At the about:profiles page, the only profile showing is the one I created to be able to launch Firefox. Under "Users" ..... "App Data", there are 3 profiles: the new one just created, another profile with same name and the Default profile. Can not access either of the old profiles. Both old profiles have last changed date the same as Firefox update. I hope there is a fix for this. This is almost as bad as the entire computer crashing.

My laptop just came back from the shop after a hard drive crash and Ive had to reinstall everything. I just reinstalled firefox, signed in and synced but its not got any of my bookmarks, saved passwords/logins, add ons or history. I tried to do the Import and Restore but there is nothing in there. I checked the profiles, there are two, profile:defualt-release and profile:default. Neither have any bookmarks, saved logins etc. I've been using firefox for years and have synced it before and it worked then. I chose firefox specifically so that I could just restore all my stuff in the event of a crash but now I can't find any of it. Is there any other way to get all my saved stuff back? Any advice would be greatly appreiated! thanks.

Hey! I've noticed that a few Mozilla updates before I can't see cyrillic texts on some websites on my PC. I have been waiting for new updates to fix this problem but I can't wait anymore, cause I always have to go to another browser to read the website I need.

Unresponsive page links on a well-known internet financial site. Several links are completely unresponsive. I am unable to access or manage account funds. Customer support advised trying Google Chrome. I have always trusted Firefox, and don't know what to do.

i have a problem with downloading in firefox. When i download a file with an extension unfamiliar to firefox, the download prompt opens, as it should be. What's missing is the option to select "Do this automatically for files like this from now on" before choosing an action. This means i can not "teach" firefox how to handle unfamiliar files which gets tedious when downloading them en masse. How do i get this option backin the prompt? Alternatively, is there another option to add file extensions and what to do with them to the Applications list in general settings?

I cannot seem to access https://service.mcafee.com/ with Firefox - it just shows a gray circle with red going around it. I even added it to the Exceptions.

Using Edge or Chrome I go right to the site.

When attempting to view Facebook using FireFox while running Windows 11, the Home Page hangs while waiting for data from "Static.XX.FBCDN.Net". I've tried clearing the browser cache without success. Did not experience this issue running Windows 10. Wondering if Microsoft is just not playing well with others. Any thoughts/Fixes/Workarounds welcome. Note: Do not experience the problem when using Chrome.

When I try to get to Amazon.com, all I get is 'Connecting to server...please wait' and gets stuck there. The only time it works is immediately after I restart my PC. After I load one or two more websites, I can't get to Amazon. I am not having this problem with any other websites. Can you help???

Not every time but very often when i log onto my PC and get on Firefox my account shows as disconnected. I will log in again and it always thinks i am logging in from a new device. i am not using a VPN or anything and also all sites all think i am singing in from a new device. it is so annoying and i do not know how to fix it. i work on a private network and don't have anything set up that would change my IP location or anything. no idea why this is happening and i would love some help

why does my firefox browser 91.0.2 stay in full screen when i go into full screen. I can't get out of full screen. I used the windows key to try to close firefox but it doesn't work either. I have to force shutdown laptop to get out of full screen by shutting down pc. How can I fix this problem?? Thank you in advance.
