bold texttheoretically if I was watching videos will my fiance be able to so how dig any and or all of the data that trails it.. like time spent watching videos or time spent on this app once all is closed

Right below the search bar my browser has a warning "The security sandbox is disabled. Your configuration is unsupported and less secure."

I am on Windows 10. I have tried uninstalling firefox, removing appdata and all other firefox files and settings, resetting about:configs settings, disabling my BitDefender antivirus. Nothing fixes it. Completely fresh install of firefox still gives me that message. Sandbox level is default (9).

Any help would be appreciated.

When creating a password on Linux Desktop version 144 it shows the password text instead of hiding or at least provding a option to hide when typing out the password.

H&HNY2U&2U I'll appreciate your help! Please clarify if the alert containing a Firefox logo (pictured in the upper right corner of the image I attached), which flashed repeatedly while viewing the Apple page, is actually from Firefox or is a fake. thanks, HJK

I have two bank accounts. Both have been hacked and both banks traced it back to digital on line banking. they both claim that somehow hackers are getting to my personal info thru my computer. I do not use the phone of banking...and Firefox is and has been for a long time my default browser. Can hackers get my info from Firefox?

all of my information have been compromised recently when Google was my search engine. Please help me make sure this won't happen again. Thank you!

Nun bekomme ich, wenn ich Mozilla Firefox öffne, ständig die Warnung von Trend Micro, dass die Sicherheitssoftware verhindert hat, das Mozilla eine von den gepeicherten Nummern übertragen wollte. "Die Funktion zum Schutz vor Datendiebstählen hat verhindert, dass geschütze Daten den Computer verlassen." Angegeben ist das Programm "Firefox.exe". Was passiert da bei Firefox im Hintergrund?

Since last week I am unable to properly use some websites that are failing due to CORS requests, but they were working before. Some examples are es.webuy.com or a local Jellyfin instance. After trying to enable/disable some settings that I thought could be related to the problem, like security levels, I ended up creating a new profile. In this new profile everything works, but as soon as I synchronize my Mozilla account, then these websites start failing again with CORS requests errors.

Any idea about what setting might it be the one causing problems? Or any idea about how can I debug/troubleshoot it myself?

Seriously - it could be as easy as to just click "view certificate" so it opens up in Windows's standard certificate window where I can easily import it to my cert store, but someone decided it requires a bunch of useless and forgettable tasks so that FF recognizes it.

Attempting to follow any number of Ubuntu 24 HOWTOs to connect the Firefox I installed from the ZorinOS App Store to the smart card reader and they are all failing miserably so far.

I've tried a few other pkcs11.so's on other paths and FireFox just immediately crashes. This one it at least says it can't add it. The module is owned by root and has 644 permissions so I think it should be readable. Brave Browser is working well with cert auth via CAC and I already have the machine fully set up with logging in via CAC, locking screen automatically when CAC is removed, etc etc so I know that at a base level the CAC is working well. Just can't seem to find the proper link glue.

This is NOT the snap version of Firefox either, I am pretty sure. sudo snap firefox commands say firefox isn't installed.

I was googling something related to my game and i clicked on a Reddit search result, which i made sure is the official Reddit website not some shady one, then an empty .htm file from moz-safe-about resource got downloaded randomly. I didn't open it, i uploaded it to VirusTotal which came out safe and then i instantly deleted it and ran a virus scan with Windows Security which also came out clean. i tried to recreate this by opening the same website again both on Firefox and other browsers like Zen(Firefox based) and Chrome but nothing happened.

is this a harmless bug or should i worry that it could be a virus that didnt get detected?

I'm sick of having to turn off ai features in every freaking thing, if the product was any good you wouldn't have to push it so hard!

This is bad for my data security and privacy. Bad for the environment. Spreads falsehoods. And promotes plagiarism.

I'm already starting to look around for other browsers so I can switch over and delete this account if you don't stop this garbage.

I am really frustrated by the additional AI features coming to Firefox soon. How can I ensure I will be notified as those features are rolled out, and how can I turn them off for my personal browser? To clarify, I don’t want any of my data, activity, or history to be accessible by any AI, and I don’t want to interact with any AI when I use Firefox.

I use Firefox specifically because I appreciate(d) the flexibility and the privacy. Default AI makes it significantly more difficult to customize the browser to my preferences (ie, zero AI anywhere) and threatens the privacy that Firefox is known and recognized for. This is an absolutely incomprehensible decisions; it is no longer a "trustworthy" browser if it incorporates AI. Why ruin a good thing??
