This all started while I was trying to open Spotify in Firefox. It kept telling me I need to enable secure playback. So I checked and "Play DRM-controlled content" is enabled. I did some googling to see what could be the problem. Turns out I need Google Widevine enabled, so I check the plugins page where I find out I don't even have Widevine installed. I also checked the default profile folder (root directory) to see if there's even a gmp-widevinecdm folder there but I couldn't find anything.

Is there a way for me to reinstall Widevine without having to create a new profile?

Hello. Please help. I reinstalled Firefox and got 1 error. Previously, when I pressed the print button for a PDF file on any site, the PDF Reader and Adobe Print Panel would open in Windows. Now, when clicking on this button, an error occurs. To fix this in Firefox preferences, I installed PDF Reader for pdf files. And now the files open in PDF Reader on my Windows, its good. But there was a problem, when I press the print button, the print dialog box from "Adobe Reader Print " should also open (picture 1), but instead the standard " Windows Print Dialog " one opens (picture 2). In this window I cannot set the print properties and make a preview. Please tell me how I can fix this . Maybee can I restore this from the old profile using some config file? in another browser, the desired window is launched(

Anytime Firefox opens it is asking for my Primary password. This has been happening for 2 or 3 weeks. I can enter my password or click cancel. But if I close and reopen the browser it happens again, regarless of what page I am on. (Annoying when clicking a link to read a short article) I do not have AVG or ISlet (sp?) installed. I tried that solution and it did not work.

Suggestions on how to debug, diagnose or fix appreciated.

I use a 55 inch TV as my computer monitor with Windows7 OS. All of a sudden this week the animations are on every site... Netflix just became unbearable to watch. I have already gone though the steps to turn off all animations in Firefox. I performed these steps...

'''in about:config - type : toolkit.cosmeticAnimations.enabled - set it to : false - type : toolkit.scrollbox.smoothScroll - set it to : false'''

This did NOTHING to turn off the nauseating animations. Every time I scroll a web page I feel motion sickness. Every movie I watch now looks like garbage.

I ALSO have turned off ALL animations in Windows7... so this is really upsetting. Movies I have downloaded seem to play fine in VLC player, but if I use my browser to watch a video, it is now unbearable because of these garbage animations wreaking havoc on my screen.
