If I visit https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/cloud-computing/hci-for-modern-enterprise-brief.html or any other such page on Intel's site, the embedded document viewer (for PDF) is shown only a fraction of a second and the disappears, leaving the space empty. The process is repeated when refreshing the content (F5).

I could not find a setting that triggers this behavior.

I could really use some help here please - I am so very lost.

Suddenly, I stopped getting email notifications from Facebook, I left it awhile thinking it would work itself out but it hasn't.

I've searched the internet everywhere looking for solutions, adding another email address just in case the Facebook couldn't send to the primary (didn't work).

I logged onto Facebook, went to Notifications scrolled down to Browser and turned "ON" Firefox Push Notifications but that kept turning itself off when I logged out of Facebook.

Firefox Browser "Lock" clicked on the lock where I found "permissions Send Notifications Allowed X" clicked on the "Allowed X" then message read "you have not grated this site any special permissions"

Well, I'm totally lost - why can't my setting just stay the way they are because I do not understand computer language and if I don't want anything changed "for the better" why should things change on me?????

I don't know what to do next - could someone please help me.

Stereomix doesn't works with multiple AudioPlayer Devices Connected to the PC

Using the Jitsi Streaming service for an conference or other streaming services with firefox, you have to change the Audio Input Device. In Windows 10 the Stereomix doesn't works as aspected and can't be used as Streaming Outgoing Audio.

In Audacity I have to select the Audio Endpoint instead of the Stereomix as Mikrofon. If I've selected audio Device A as Output Audio Device and want to Stream the Sound wich goes to Audio Device A this has to be selected as Microfon. If Device B is ....

Stereomix doesn't works here.

It seems that as of 79.0 the `lock` file in profile dir is no longer removed at browser close. That doesn't play very nicely with selenium driver (ruby API) when I want to create a browser instance with existing profile name. It seems that profile directory is copied, but this fails for `lock` file, as it cannot be `stat`ed.

Is not removing `lock` file intended?

This can be reproduced with: ruby -r 'selenium-webdriver' -e 'Selenium::WebDriver.for :firefox, profile: "my_existing_profile_name"'

which gives the stacktrace: /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/rubyzip-2.3.0/lib/zip/entry.rb:409:in `stat': No such file or directory @ rb_file_s_stat - /mnt/work/webdriver-rb-profilecopy20200726-75146-9bn20t/lock (Errno::ENOENT) from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/rubyzip-2.3.0/lib/zip/entry.rb:409:in `file_stat' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/rubyzip-2.3.0/lib/zip/entry.rb:551:in `gather_fileinfo_from_srcpath' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/rubyzip-2.3.0/lib/zip/file.rb:303:in `add' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/common/zipper.rb:92:in `add_zip_entry' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/common/zipper.rb:55:in `block (2 levels) in zip' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/2.6/find.rb:49:in `block (2 levels) in find' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/2.6/find.rb:48:in `catch' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/2.6/find.rb:48:in `block in find' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/2.6/find.rb:43:in `each' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/2.6/find.rb:43:in `find' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/common/zipper.rb:54:in `block in zip' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/rubyzip-2.3.0/lib/zip/file.rb:125:in `open' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/common/zipper.rb:81:in `with_tmp_zip' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/common/zipper.rb:53:in `zip' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/firefox/profile.rb:193:in `encoded' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/firefox/options.rb:136:in `as_json' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/firefox/marionette/driver.rb:81:in `create_capabilities' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/firefox/marionette/driver.rb:36:in `initialize' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/firefox/driver.rb:33:in `new' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/firefox/driver.rb:33:in `new' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver/common/driver.rb:54:in `for' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/2.6/gems/selenium-webdriver-3.142.7/lib/selenium/webdriver.rb:88:in `for' from -e:1:in `<main>' 2020-07-26 21:58:10 WARN Selenium [DEPRECATION] :profile is deprecated. There's this site that i want to create script for. It uses VideoJS library, a simple tool to embed a customizable player on website. To communicate with this library, i need to define the player in my script: ``` var player = videojs('player_id'); ``` The problem is that the code in my addon doesn't recognize the `videojs` constructor. Do i have to manually add VideoJS library to my addon, or can i „hijack" library from the website somehow?

Good evening,

In a specific website (sepenet.gr) i can preview forms that i can directly print just by clicking the printer icon on the form (up right corner in the photo No1). In other browsers (internet explorer, microsoft edge and google chrome) when I click on the printer icon on the form automatically opens a new window that asks me to choose the printer and the other print settings (photo No2). In mozilla firefox I get a message that in english says (more or less) "Form is being receiving. Please wait..." (photo No3) but nothing else happens. After a five hours searching and trying to solve, I gave up and decided to ask your help! Please help me!!!!!

When playing mulaw wave files on Firefox, I get a lot of static, much more than I do on Chrome.

You can test this here: https://www.tavoca.com/audiotest/index.html You can download the original wave file here: https://www.tavoca.com/audiotest/mulaw.wav

I tried using Firefox 78 and 76 on Windows 10 and on Linux Mint 19.3

I use the default theme, no extensions, only the basic plugins: OpenH264 from Cisco and Widevine Content Decryption Module from Google.

Is this a known issue? Is there already a ticket for it, and if not, how can I create one?

Thanks,

Laurian

I deleted a Firefox profile while troubleshooting a selenium/geckodriver issue. Doing so deleted many unrelated folders and files, but long story short my Python folder was obliterated but for a single file called vcruntime140_1.dll. It also rendered Firefox unusable.

I reinstalled Firefox with no success. I tried the refresh option from the installer instead — no success. I deleted everything I could find in regedit and my C: drive (no clue why several folders are left behind after uninstalling...). Re-install still failed: during all attempts I could open a Firefox window but I couldn't do anything within.

On a hunch I went into my recycling bin and restored the vcruntime140_1.dll that I had deleted, and Firefox started working again. I moved it from my Python folder (cause surely it doesn't belong there, apparently it's a Microsoft file) and Firefox stopped working...

I want to know where this .dll actually belongs, and if possible I would like to know a way to obliterate Firefox from my PC. Uninstalling should accomplish that, but sadly does not. Any other advice/commentary is welcome.

I realize this may be trivial, but I like it when things work the way they're supposed to. The Google calendar favicon has a number in it that is supposed to be today's date. It is never correct. The calendar itself is correct, but not the favicon. See attached screenshot. Today is the 28th, which the calendar correctly says, but the favicon says '14.' I tried it in Chrome, and it works correctly. So, there may be something FF (78) or one of my add-ons that is blocking that information. How do I track it down and correct it?
