To get straight to the point, I use the website https://ingrails.com/school/. I've noticed an issue: when I try to print certain contents from this site using the Mozilla Firefox browser, the borders don't show up in the print preview and they don't print either. However, I don't face this problem with Edge, Chrome, or Opera. Why does this happen, and what is the solution?

I have attached some screenshots for reference. The screenshots showing the borders were taken from Edge, while the ones without borders are from Firefox.

The problem is illustrated in the first image attached: Google Maps shows no image, just solid black. This does not occur in browsers other than Firefox.

After restarting my laptop, the same problem persists, but on first going to the Google Maps website the usual image of my neighborhood flashes, then disappears to be replaced by the black.

The second attached image shows four possible causes and fixes offered by Google AI. I tried them all, and nothing made any difference. This image also shows that the thumbnail image appears when my cursor hovers over the tab in which Maps is open.

The only thing out of the ordinary I did before this problem occurred was browsing the Firefox Extensions on advice of Google AI to turn off the intrusive "Genius" AI pop-ups, but I didn't discover anything relevant and I don't think I made any changes.

I'd welcome any suggestions for what to try next,

I'm having trouble seeing all I need to see on Facebook and Ancestry.com whenever I get certain popup windows asking for input on my part. On Facebook this happens when I want to create an album of photos, and I cannot add all the ones I want before posting, and on Ancestry when I have to look at and accept certain results for my tree. This problem does not occur with Chrome, for example, which lets me scroll to the bottom with the popups on the right, but I cannot do it with Firefox, which is my default browser, the one I want to use on these two applications. There should be another scroll bar in Firefox to the right in each case, but it's not there, though it is present in Chrome, allowing me to scroll all the way down. Can this be fixed on Firefox, or do I have to use another browser for these aspects of these two applications?

FF dev 155.0b5 (but this has been ongoing for 1+yr). W11p. Is there somewhere in settings where I can "disable" whatever is blocking videos from being seen? (for example BBC news videos). I have to go to troubleshoot mode to watch. I have previously disabled all potential blocking exts like ghostery & UBlock, but to no effect (still no videos). I have looked in security in settings. Otherwise, I either go to troubleshoot or open chrome. Or, is there an extension that will allow that video viewing? Please advise, thank you.

            I've implemented passkey (webauthn). All browsers working fine along with firefox for regular passkey But we implemented ROR (well-known/webauthn) for cross domain using rpid (https://web.dev/articles/webauthn-related-origin-requests). Only this is failing for cross domain passkey in firefox where other browsers working good. I am using firefox version 140.14.0. I know its bit old but just asking does it support? We've some limitation so not able to test latest version of firefox. I am getting below error in console

"A resource is blocked by OpaqueResponseBlocking."

Any help regarding this will be appreciated.

My PC crashed and then upon opening up firefox it forced me to update firefox. Afterwards all windows and tabs disappeared but my browing history is still there. I tried the in-browser restoration but it is greyed out. I tried the session store backup profile data but has no 'previous' or 'back up' files, only 'restore' files that are empty and restore to no tabs or windows. What other ways are possible? It's weird my browsing history anf bookmarks weren't deleted at the same time.

I opened Firefox this morning and all of my pinned shortcuts have disappeared. Shortcuts are enabled in the settings. I checked the browser.newtabpage.pinned pref on the about:config and all of my pinned shortcuts are not there

After a recent Firefox update, all of my saved passwords disappeared.

I checked my Firefox profiles and found that the current `logins.json` and `logins-backup.json` files were newly created on August 30, 2026 and contain no passwords.

However, in the older profile data I still have:

• `logins.db` — approximately 480 KB, modified August 19, 2026
• `key4.db` — approximately 288 KB, modified August 18, 2026
• `signedInUser.json`
• `storage-sync-v2.sqlite`

I opened a COPY of `logins.db` using DB Browser for SQLite. It contains:

• 392 records in `loginsM`
• 5 records in `loginsL`

The records clearly contain my saved websites in the `origin` field.

The table columns are:

`_rowid_` `id` `origin` `httpRealm` `formActionOrigin` `usernameField` `passwordField` `timesUsed` `timeCreated` `timeLastUsed` `timePasswordChanged` `secFields` `guid`

The `secFields` values begin with:

`eyJhbGciOiJkaXIiLCJlbmMiOiJBMjU2R0NNIn0`

Unfortunately, after discovering that my passwords were missing, I also reset my Mozilla account password. I understand that this may have affected the server-side Sync data.

My main question is:

Since the 392 encrypted login records are still physically present in the local `logins.db`, is there a supported or technically safe way to recover/decrypt those records and restore them to Firefox?

I still have the older `key4.db` and have preserved copies of all of these files without modifying the originals.

I am currently also attempting Windows File Recovery to look for an older deleted `logins.json`, but I would especially appreciate guidance on whether the surviving `logins.db` can be used for recovery.

the login never completes and there are messages at the bottom of the screen that it is waiting for various sites like ips.navigatorixa mail.com if I wait Firefox eventually times out with site not responding

At first FF free vpn used the server (Spain, France ..) that I selected Since a couple of days it always uses Singapore server, no matter what I select I have already cleared the cachet, turn off and on the vpn, restarted my laptop .. still the same Any solution?

I use the dual English/German spell checker, a while back it stopped recognizing teh and ahve for example as the and have, only when turning off the German spell check it works again.

Is there any way to make one language take priority over the other (without having to turn languages off and on constantly?) or to get more suggested results?

One instance does not have bookmarks and passwords. The machine keeps switching between instances for Default. Machine is Ideapad 1i Windows, 11 64bit. Both Versions of of Firefox Appear to be 155.0.

Over and over again when I try to open a website I get the notice that says "Secure Connection Failed". I have to restart my laptop and then I can open the website that I tried to access before. I've tried using the suggestions in the forum with no result in solving this problem. I've attached the page that comes up showing the problem.
