When I try to download a statement from my bank I just get a blank page pop up. This used to work with Firefox and it works OK with Chrome. What has changed ...or is there a Firefox setting that is wrong?

As I mentioned I can't seem to access my network folders. I only have this issue in this machine but I have my account on 3 different machines on the network with no issues. All have the same extensions and settings.

hello. my name is Andrew. im learning the language toki pona. great language! however, it does not currently have support in Unicode.

as a workaround to use this language online, people have been downloading a font called nasin nanpa, and adding it to firefox's font fallback system in the about:config settings, and using the fonts UCSUR characters, like these 󱥬, 󱥂​󱤴​󱤧​󱤑​󱦐󱤄󱤽󱤧󱤊󱥵󱦑.

[specifically, the font uses codepoints in the Private Use Area because the language's script is not yet in Unicode. ]

the changes are to these settings.

font.name-list.cursive.x-western font.name-list.monospace.x-western font.name-list.sans-serif.x-western font.name-list.serif.x-western

recently, this system has stopped working. this change breaks multiple websites, including many discord community's that used the font to talk online in toki pona!

it also presumably breaks other fallback scenarios. now im guessing that this has not been noticed as most fonts support every commonly used character, making this feature rather obscure. however i really would love this to be fixed, and so would the large toki pona community!

When I restarted my Windows 10 computer, the activity bar and all my history disappeared.

It was working perfectly this morning.

Any ideas?

This is the second computer in the last two weeks that has done this to me.

I need tutorial guidance to restore my home site. All has been eliminated except tabs. The more I try on my own to restore, the more that gets deleted. I need a phone number to talk to a customer care tech to guide me.

1. After composing mail in Yahoo mail on my Mac laptop with Firefox, I cannot scroll down to "Send" to send the email I can Send using Safari on the same laptop,.

2. On the Website Sense.com, Firefox has changed the background. The original is baqlck background with yellow text; Firefox displays White background with blue text. Safari displays the original on the same laptop. I've been using Firefox since 2000, please stop tinkering with pages which work. I'd prefer to continue using an Open Source outfit rather than a Proprietary one, in solute of not having a Help phone number. ThANK YOU.

I won't show my account information but when I try to access Amtrak's Guest Rewards site it goes into a loop. First it asks for username & password and accepts that with no problem. Then it asks for the code it sends to my cell phone and accepts that. And then it just keeps reloading various pages until I kill it. This is the error message shown in the log, it's repeated over and over:

When a system-wide VPN application (not built into Firefox) is enabled, the behavior of the address bar changes: on the first click, it only shows 5 sites (Top Sites), instead of the usual 9. After pressing the Spacebar, the list from browsing history loads normally. The problem persists after turning off the VPN and only disappears after a full restart of Firefox. I recently (2 days ago) discovered that my Firefox was broken immediately following a Windows 11 update (2026-01 Preview Update (KB5074105) (26200.7705), in case this means anything to anyone). I first noticed my bookmarks and browsing history were gone (which I noticed a lot of people have already been complaining about recently). I want to start off by EXPLICITLY saying I have tried restarting Firefox, my computer, and following the instructions from the most commonly linked solutions (1 1, 2 2 , 3 3). None of it has many any difference to speak of. Now, onto the diagnosis.

My history is still not being remember or updated. Furthermore, the history management tool (the one that opens up on Ctrl + Shift + O) is completely non-functional. Clicking any button in there does nothing. I have tried to go "Import and Backup -> Restore -> Choose a File", especially because I managed to locate the .jsonlz4 backup files for my bookmarks in the root folder of my (one and only) profile. The history manager does not allow me to open a file, in fact clicking "Choose a File" does not even open a file selection menu. Clicking "Backup" does nothing, clicking "Import Bookmarks from HTML" does nothing. "Views" is also completely empty (which I assume makes sense, given there is no browsing history to speak of).

My only guess is my profile ended up broken somehow? I would guess the Windows update had something to do with it, but the fact that the history is still not being saved 2 days later confuses me greatly. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.

I am having an issue where when I right click an image when on the image tab of a search engine, it only has the "Open Image in New Tab" choice in the context menu, with no ability to open the website the image is on in said context menu. ("Open Link in New Tab")

I know this is the opposite of what most folks want, but I see it this way: If you open the image from the context menu right from the search page, it only opens the tiny, fuzzy image that you already could see on the search page. I don't want, nor need, the tiny, pixelated image that I am already looking at.

I want to be able to open it right to the page that the image is on. That way I can see the image in full resolution, or look at the page it is from.

Is there any add-on or code or anything that could help me? I've searched and searched, but nothing I've found has worked.

TL;DR I want to remove "Open Image in New Tab" and replace it with "Open Link in New Tab" from the context menu when clicking on images in the image tab of search engines on Firefox. Is there any add-on or code or anything that could help me?

I am running Firefox 147 on a Windows 10 desktop PC. I am using DualSafe Password Manager. However, the 'Ask to save passwords' option is ticked in my Settings (see attached screenshot), and also greyed out so I can't alter it. Firefox keeps asking to save passwords for sites that I sign into. Can anyone suggest how I can fix this. To my way of thinking, if a thrid-party password manager is installed, Firefox should see this (it does) and automatically set itself to not ask.

Hi, I am using Firefox on Mac Os Tahoe and IOS 18.7 and 26.2 (2 iPads). I have set up synching of my open tabs, but this works only from MacOs to the iPads, not the other way round. When closing MacOs Firefox tabs on the iPads this does not synch back to the Mac. I am missing something?

I tend to have long and extensive conversations on Firefox's Copilot AI but I've run into an issue that makes this more difficult. When I press CTRL + F to search for text through a chat, it only searches on the webpage I have open on the right. I was wondering if there is a feature that exists that does this that I'm not aware of, and if not, maybe that could become a thing later?

I remember in the past being able to disable videos from playing on a page and having a play button I could click to play them manually, am I hallucinating or is this a feature I cannot seem to find ?

Hello, Every time I try to use acute accents on Firefox, it registers my input as a double input, leading to two acute accent markers (´´) appearing behind the letter. It works everywhere else, for example in the windows search bar, as well as briefly when I first start Firefox, before disappearing after the first few uses/minutes.

What should look like this (é), looks instead like this (´´e). Would anyone know why this is happening? To answer the question before it is asked: The only addons I have are Ghostery and Return Youtube dislikes and I have tried to type the acute accents without them enabled, but that hasn't worked either. I would appreciate any help here.

How can I get Firefox to stop automatically downloading links? I've selected the "ask me" option in settings and that doesn't stop it. In the past it worked fine but for the last several months I've tried everything and it won't ask me what file to put it in. Now, every PDF gets automatically sent to my Adobe cloud (which I definitely don't want as I'm planning to ditch Adobe at the end of my current subscription) and I have to go through a convoluted work around to even be able to get it downloaded into the file where I need it to be.
