Firefox 114 introduced hidden support for nvidia video super resolution. In about:config you can enable preference gfx.webrender.super-resolution.nvidia to make it work. However I see 0 difference on all videos on all pages. I have everything in nvidia control panel set correctly (VSR enabled and set to 4/4 quality).

Tried to find more info online and someone on reddit complained that it worked before but it stopped working with latest firefox beta (probably before final 114 release): https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/13duluz/nvidia_video_super_resolution_comes_to_firefox/

I tried using logic too - if this pref is related to webrenderer in its name maybe it is not working because I am not using webrenderer? However I checked about:support and in section graphics->composition I have "webrenderer" so it seems I am using it, but its VSR feature is not working at all.

Firefox was working well on HTTP websites until a few days ago, but now HTTPS-Only Mode seems to be permanent. Despite changing settings to 'Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode', when HTTP sites are selected I get the same message as for 'HTTPS-Only Mode'. Also, if I select 'Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in all windows' and add exceptions, I get the same result.

I've been having a weird issue with my text glitching only in my Firefox browser. Initially I thought it might be my monitor but then I realized the issue only presents itself in my Firefox browser. Literally no other program is affected.

I've done a reset, I've uninstalled and done a clean install, I've deleted all Firefox files and re-downloaded the browser. The issue immediately pops up again.

Hi Firefox We work in a government institution and we use Firefox because it is a unique, fast and safe program. We thank you for your efforts to develop the browser But we encountered a problem with the new update while printing the PDF files. It was showing us the option to print in portrait or landscape format, and when you updated version 14, this option no longer appeared. Where we deleted the new program, installed the older version, and stopped the update We trust you to solve the problem in the next update, and we ask you to give the matter importance

I've looked into this situation, and none of the solutions submitted online work.

I went to about:preferences, and set "security.certerrors.mitm.auto_enable_enterprise_roots" to false, but "security.enterprise_roots.enabled" is set to true and locked; I can't change it.

First of all, I am not using Avast, AVG, Kapersky, etc. antivirus; I'm using Win 10's built-in security suite, so it's not my antivirus causing it.

To double check that, I opened the Registry and went to " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox\" and "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox\", looking for a Mozilla\Firefox\Polices key, and neither one had any Mozilla keys.

I even checked the Autoconfig settings, and found no settings in the JS file that had anything to do with Enterpise Roots (I renamed the file temporarily to disable it), but I still can't disable security.enterprise_roots.enabled

I have no "Organization"; I'm an independent home user, so needless to say I'm concerned that Firefox is suddenly saying some organization is controlling my Firefox.

FF would start to load but never completely finish so I forgot & stupidly did the troubleshooting mode or w/e that put me back to default so LOST all my settings, etc.. Strangely it's back "close" to normal except I was using Passbrow which the icon shows on toolbar but greyed out & I can't get it to turn back on. I have the "Old FF Data" folder but following the steps it doesn't show where profile is stored for me to be able to copy the old data TO. IF I can restore the old profile hopefully that would get it back working ALL as it was...but HOW??

I recently migrated from Chrome to Firefox on my Mac and successfully imported all data, bookmarks etc. However I cannot figure out how to ADD a new bookmark to an existing folder. Every page I read about bookmarking fails to show how this is done. In Chrome its simple since the drop down menu allows the user to view every folder, but in Firefox I don't see how to do this. Furthermore, when I go to Bookmarks>Manage bookmarks I don't see any of my folders..PLEASE show me an EASY way to do this. Thank you

Hail all:

Now, I have 2 Google accounts: My private one, and a Corporate Account, used for work. I always signed out of my normal window from the active account to the Corporate Account and vice versa, depending on which I needed to check. A common occurrence for many people.

But I noticed long ago, that in Private Window ... I seem to be signed out, opening Google in it. I use Private Window to avoid unnecessary clutter from sites dropping their stuff on my Temp folder. I hate clutter ... severe Asperger's.

I was thinking ... if I keep my private Google Mail on the prime non-Private window, can I sign in while this is open (and stays open) into my Corporate account in my Private Window?

If so, this would save me quite a bit of hassle, having to log out several times a day from my main, private account/mail and into the Corporate account mail, and when done vice versa to me private account mail.

Thank you.

I had a personal certificate installed in Firefox and it was working well. It expired, so I got a new one from the same provider. Both appear in Firefox under "Privacy & Security" -> Certificates -> View Certificates... The previous one is not valid any more, and every time I try to access some page with a certificate, it uses the old one. So I tried to delete the old one. Nothing has worked so far. Doing the straightforward way of selecting it in the Certificate Manager and deleting it makes the certificate disappear from the manager menu, but if I enter the certificate manager again, it is there again. I tried to delete both certificates, same issue, both reaper in the manager. I tried to delete them, close firefox, delete cert9.db, cert8.db and key4.db and nothing. Only thing left is delete my current firefox profile and start again... Any other idea or something that I might delete before to solve this?

I'm not sure what settings I need to change to allow me to make a choice on the pop-up. Please advise. Thanks.

I like the Firefox notification at the top of the browser that says "Firefox prevented this site from opening a pop-up window." However, I recently accidentally clicked "Don't show this message when pop-ups are blocked."

I can't find any way to *undo* this choice. How can I get this notification to start appearing again whenever Firefox blocks a pop-up? I feel like this should be an easy checkbox somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

There at least 3 websites now that I cannot open, straighttalk.com, kbb.com, and redbox.com. Last month I could open these websites, before that I could not, now I cannot again. I have had this problem for months. I have emptied my cache, I keep firefox up to date, and I have restarted my computer and browser multiple times. This is the error message I get from straighttalk.com:

This is the error message I get from kbb.com Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.kbb.com/" on this server.

This is the error message I get from redbox.com 403 ERROR The request could not be satisfied. Request blocked. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner. If you provide content to customers through CloudFront, you can find steps to troubleshoot and help prevent this error by reviewing the CloudFront documentation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Nicki

Hello everybody,

since the last two updates Firefox started tab-crashing everytime I enter search terms on Google and then I click on "Images" Previous versions of Firefox had no problems at all.

I'm running Linux-Ubuntu 16.04

For example:

1. I "insert nut M6" in the google search-bar 2. Google shows me mixed image and text contents 3. I click on the "Images" button of Google 4. A collection of images appears for a fraction of a second, but immediately after.... 5. ....boom! Tab crashed message (see attached screenshot)

Any clue? Giulio - Munich/Germany

I have a (quite old) Iomega 2 NAS in my local network. I have to connect to the admin page to change some settings, but FF responds with SSL_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_VERSION, with no option to bypass.

It's my own NAS, in my own local network. How can I bypass this (in this case stupid) restriction? I know it's safe, I know no harm can be done, still I can't get to this page.
