Whenever I try to sign into any Google site whether it is Gmail, Google, Youtube. or even signing into a site with a google account like Pinterest I get sent to the google help page taking about clearing cache & cookies. Even from there when i click sign in it just refreshes the page never actually taking me to the sign in page.

I already turned pff the graphic tab preview, but the tab title still pops up when I move my mpuse pointer on a tab. I do not need this and find it terribly annoying. How do I completely deactive this?

There has to be a way, but I can't find it. How do we enlarge the font size for tabs, toolbar, favorites, search bar etc. I like that we can customize the colors but the font size seems to have been left out. I know we can ctrl + to enlarge what's in the browser window but this has no effect on the actual browser fonts. They are wayyyy to tiny. Is there a fix for this?

Got a new PC and loading all the software (ugh). I made Firefox my default browser and opened my Yahoo email. I tried synching the bookmarks and picked Sync Now but the old bookmarks are not showing up. I still have a laptop with all the old bookmarks (from synching automatically). Can I export those to a thumb drive and bring into the new computer somehow? Do I risk losing my bookmarks on the laptop when I turn it on? Fred

Why is firefox not showing up in my authenticator app???

I saw a previous post that has since been closed suggesting the solution be disabling 2FA authentication - with all due respect to whoever suggested that, I don't think that should be the best solution. I'd like to keep 2FA enabled. I'd just like to know why Firefox doesn't appear in my Google or Microsoft Authenticator apps. I end up having to use recovery codes which makes the process a pain.

PG&E is notifying its customers on its website that Firefox (among others) is "unsupported."

I have not noticed any problems viewing/interacting anywhere on their site and would like to know why they are making this warning. I suspect that Mozilla.org would have a similar concern.

Signed into Wall Street Journal. Clicked on a subject. Got this on a screen Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information). Tried to ask the question at WSJ, Their trees are hard to get through. What is a browser console?

So I'll be typing like normal (I type 100 WPM), and all of a sudden, I'll type a sentence, but each individual letter starts taking about 3 seconds to show up on the screen. I have to sit and wait a super long time for everything I typed to finally show up. Other times, I move my mouse over something I should be able to click on, and have to wait a long time for the arrow to turn into a hand, letting me click on it. These periods of slowness will last a few minutes, then disappear.

What's really interesting is that when the slowness starts, I can type just fine up in the URL bar. I might type my entire message there, then copy paste it down to where ever I was wanting to post it. However, when I do that, if I have another tab open and that tab is playing music, the music will start to break up and lag as I type. Again, after a while, the slowness disappears and we're back to normal.

Can anyone tell me what's going on?

I'm using Firefox with Google as my default search engine. When ever I try to type in the Google search box, what I am typing appears in the address bar. I want to search in the Google search box as it is at eye level for what I am doing. I have tried all sorts of ideas from the web to fix this but no joy. Does anyone know how I disable this? Thank you

Had to replace FF with Chrome in order to play DRM content on my W11 laptop. I get message saying you are downloading remedy, but nothing ever changes. Would prefer to continue 15+ year relationship with FF, but seems like youre abandoning capabilities for DRM video content?

When saving/opening file dialog is on screen the whole program freezes and take forever to unfreeze to the point I have to force quite the program. The problem seems to be only in Firefox.

Safe mode - same problem, Have done a complete refresh - same problem. Clean uninstall and reinstall - same problem.

Have moved to Chrome - similar problems.

To upload/import bookmarks into Firefox, the file extension of JSON is required. However from old crashed computer, I exported bookmarks in Excel. Please help. Thanks

I've had an ongoing issue with Firefox now for several months since upgrading to windows 11. When I try to copy text, or images, url's or anything really that is supposed to go to the clipboard, it copies a blank text with no data instead. I can copy text and images from other programs and even paste them into text fields on Firefox but I can't copy from Firefox to anything else and it's frustrating.

I recently got forced into upgrading Outlook in windows and hated it so I started using Thunderbird and surprisingly, I have the exact same issue there as well.

I have tried: Running Firefox in safe mode (Shift + Left Click) Resetting Firefox Switching Back to default themes Disabling hardware acceleration Updating to the latest Beta Build (v126) Running Firefox Developer edition

I really want to get this fixed and working, I don't want to have to switch to another browser =/.

Picture-in-picture since recent YouTube update keeps closing. Is there way i could configure in about:config to never close and always stay open even if page refreshes and have it move the video play back always to the Picture-in-picture window ? If not could this be made a feature in a future update ?

YouTube especially been annoying to Firefox users, cos it keeps refreshing the whole page breaking stuff every time it plays the video, as well have issues with looping videos even tho they are already fully buffered, making entire YouTube experience as frustrating as possible as encouragement to switch to chrome, which i refuse for obvious reasons.

Anything i can do on my end ? If tested if this happens in incognito mode as well with all extensions disabled in private windows, no change of behavior.

Btw this happens on the new YouTube interface with no way to get back to the old interface, cos it keeps the annoying features of the old interface even if you try to re position stuff using hacky ways like extensions that do so, which of course break stuff even further. I just want Picture-in-picture to remain open, and to play current video in picture-in-picture that is playing automatically.

Btw the Picture-in-picture experience with chrome or chrome based browsers is absolutely horrible, giving me even more reasons to stay on Firefox besides privacy related issues and other issues.

After updating to 125.0.1 (64 bit) all my existing tabs were wiped out. Restoring the tabs does not solve the problem. Every time I close Firefox the tabs disappear.
