Our organization recently upgraded everyone from standard Firefox to Firefox ESR 115

Several users continually get the following error:

XUL Runner

"This profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile.

Users are getting the error even after a new profile has been created.

We have tried uninstalling Firefox both through the Control Panel and using IO Bit uninstaller but the issue persists.

All users are running Windows 10 22H2 64 Bit

Copy & Paste not working in Whatsapp Web page. I've cleared cache, rebooted etc. Copy & Paste works perfectly in Edge browser to its certainly a Firefox problem.

Like in the title, anything that has boxes on them have a weird white box or just not the right colored and flicker when hovering over them. The corners of the boxes also become not rounded. Happens on other websites like youtube too, not just the settings. Started happening when I updated to version 116.0.1. I downgraded to version 113.0 and everything was fine. Both are on fresh install so I don't think it is related to any extensions that I downloaded. I am using a device with arm windows so the platform is ARM64/AArch64.

I think Firefox updated on my laptop in the last day or two.

I never had a problem with Google Calendar not populating with my calendar info, but today I find that Google Calendar opens, but doesn't fill will data. Calendar still works fine in other browsers, so it seems to be a Firefox issue. What is the solution?

Other Google apps that I use still work okay in Firefox.

I am using Firefox developer edition I noticed it has updated itself to latest version  : 117.0b1(64-bit)

I always have Firefox updates so version before that was the 116.b08

After the update on startup I get the error message attached I close it and then Firefox runs normally but this happens on every time I run Firefox.

I now have 115.0.3 and this problem still exists. It was reported right after 115.0.1 was released. When watching FreeVee on a Windows 10 desktop it stops a short while after an ad plays. It looks like it loses the ability to stream the main movie while streaming the ad. After the ad it plays about 20 seconds of the movie, probably what was in the buffer before the ad started, and then it freezes. I get the circle wait icon, like what typically happens when the Wifi goes down. After a while a message appears saying the Internet is not working. See attached image. Then I get the message (see other attached file) saying Video Unavailable. We're experiencing a problem playing this video. For assistance, please go to www.amazon.com/videohelp. Close Player.

I have set Firefox as my default homepage and browser, however whenever I do a search or try to go to a website, Firefox starts to load it and then the screen flickers for a millisecond and then Bing takes over - Firefox no longer appears and the Bing logo is in the upper left hand corner. How do I stop Bing from taking over?

Been using firefox for 10 years to access xfinity/comcast email and suddenly can't do it. Keep getting error message "An error occurred during a connection to oauth.xfinity.com PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR". I've switched to Microsoft Edge for the time being but would appreciate getting back to Firefox if possible. Any help would be appreciated.

Running Firefox on MacOS. Browser will occasionally delete previous session when re-opening the browser. I do NOT have the browser set to clear history on closing. I have noticed that two of the incidents occurred when I accidentally closed the default window that opened when restarting the browser but I still had Firefox open.

Really frustrating when I lose all my open tabs with research I was conducting for work.

Suddenly i keep getting this error code. After trying things like refreshing Firefox, using No Proxy option and still getting this error. I dont know what to do, except for changing the browser.

Had this issue in Firefox, uninstalled it from my Mac and downloaded a new copy, same issue persisted. Moved to Firefox Nightly, same issue. I'll be working on something and then my tab will crash, showing the Mozilla "your tab has crashed" window. Any new tabs I open will display this as well, automatically crashing. Sometimes restoring them works, sometimes it doesn't. This will also crash tabs in other windows, as well as new tabs opened there. I've tried completely removing both apps and reinstalling them, but the issue persists. I have a video but this forum doesn't seem to have video uploads--would be happy to email Mozilla support to get this looked at if that would be helpful. I loved this browser, I'd like a solution so that I don't have to find another one! Any help appreciated.

Additionally there seem to be two copies of the app operating simultaneously, they both appear in my dock at the same time? Image attached.

Firefox randomly freezes when i try and open a website or do anything then will load forever. Can not open a new tab as it will just load forever when i try and open a website. Only fix is to open and close it.

I am trying to solve a problem with opening a URL from an external app when Firefox is not already active. The issue appeared a couple of years ago. I found it using LaunchBar, but I can reproduce it from a terminal (at least LaunchBar is not to blame).

1) If Firefox is active (I mean, has been launched) and I type the following in a terminal window open 'http://www.mozilla.org' then Firefox opens a new tab with mozilla.org (same with any other site).

2) However, if Firefox is not active (for instance, it has just been quit) and I type the same command in terminal, then Firefox launches, reopens previous tabs, but opens no new tab, thus failing to open mozilla.org (which is what I want).

I tried refreshing (could not try safe mode because the activation of Firefox should be triggered by the terminal command). I also tried uninstalling + fresh copy of Firefox, but as soon as the sync with my mozilla account occurs the problem comes back. I even tried to delete my Mozilla account and recreating a new one, that did not solve the issue.

Note that when I try (2), I sometimes very briefly (1/10 sec) see a new Firefox window open with the right site (mozilla.org) and this window disappears.

The setting for browser.startup.page is 3 and no plugins at all (fresh install, account wiped).

Any help is welcome...

My Firefox browser has been crashing for several weeks. I have been a Firefox user for quite some time now but never experienced anything like this. This happens at least a couple of times a day. I have refreshed the Firefox app on my computer, tried turning off the extensions for a while (I use 2 add blockers), but nothing seems to fix the issue. I'd hate to switch to another browser but this is getting very frustrating.

I'd appreciate any help you could provide.
