AOL on Firefox no longer allows me to type a double 'f'. On-and-Off becomes On-and O for example. The first 'f' appears. The second 'f' erases both! Even names in my Contacts such as Deardorff now appear as Deardor when typed into an email. This happens only on Firefox (not on Safari or AOL app). On any/all fonts. Help!

I encountered a Problem since the last update. When watching a Video on Youtube, the Playback is flashing, especially on green and red colors. I did see some People mention a similar issue years ago, so I followed the same troubleshooting by disabling Hardware acceleration and all extension. Firefox has always maintained that current tabs will be restored after a reboot of the browser, and indeed that was the case for the first half-dozen years I've been a subscriber. That has not been the case for the past 4 - 6 months however. I have the correct Settings for this, so it is not on my end. Why do I always get a fresh Firefox browser whenever I update the version (which is quite regular lately . . . maybe a new version of Firefox every 3 weeks). Please help.

I recently got set up to use Firefox instead of Chrome. I use a computer at work and at home. I have sync settings set up the way I want but it doesn't seem to work. For instance, when I deleted an add-on at work, I would expect that add-on to be gone from my browser at home, but that isn't the case. I also have changed settings to allow a pop-up from my company's internal website. But at home that change in the settings isn't reflected. Basically I have two versions of Firefox, one at home and one at work. Anytime I want them to match up I have to do it manually. The only exception is bookmarks, they seem to sync properly.

When clicking a web link from the "Finder" (and Firefox is inactive/closed) a blank google search page opens. If Firefox is already open the desired link will open

As described in the title, any form of video playback on any website will randomly dim almost like autobrightness for video playback. This has nothing to do with auto brightness etc because I have this turned off in my device settings as well as the only affected region of my screen being the part that is playing video. This does not happen on any other browser.

tldr when using firefox something keeps dimming my video and i don't know how to turn it off.

Recently, my FireFox has been acting a bit strange when it comes to playing videos. I am using a site called Udemy to watch a video course I'm taking, however, the videos don't seem to play for either a long time, or until I tab into YouTube and play a video there.

This issue is not only with Udemy however, as the YouTube videos also take longer than normal to start playing; It's not only at the start of the video either (whilst waiting for the video to fully load), It's all the time, between every pause I have to wait around 3-4 seconds before It actually start playing.

The issue is clearly something to do with videos but I find it very strange that playing a YouTube video forces my Udemy video to load.

It's been a real struggle trying to get todays course day done, since every time I pause the video I end up having to wait a while or go to YouTube and play a video to make it continue.

I've gone through all the basic troubleshooting recommended for video issues on here and other places: Turn of hardware encoding, lower security levels, enabling autoplay etc etc; absolutely no luck. I've tried disabling extensions one by one, disabling themes, running FireFox in troubleshoot mode, clearing all data/history/cookies/cache, making sure DRM-controlled content is enabled as well as trying it disabled. You name it, I feel like I've tried it at this point... Any suggestions are highly appreciated!

Another thing to add is Chrome isn't having this issue, neither is Safari.

I have always had the default settings when it came to the color of unvisited links (blue) and visisted links (purple) but now every single link appears purple regardless of what color I change either of them to. I have cleared my history, turned off all extensions, and reinstalled firefox but I am still having the issue.

hi, I really trust Mozilla with my privacy needs. Are there any updates on digital wallets for e-commerce payments that I can use with the browser? The only way right now is for me to either use Apple or Chrome for my wallet, and i want to detach from those accounts!

when updating to latest firefox browser, all my tabs are gone. "Restore tabs" is not appearing as an option.

I am trying to have a biometric authorization with touch ID on Mac, and it says on the website that the option should pop up when i go to the password settings, but it doesn't, and I don't know how to do it otherwise, or if I should use an extension for example. Hey there, I was using one of my macs today and it suddenly started updating. It was taking ages and seemingly stalled, so I closed the app.

Now, all our bookmarks and history is gone. Also, the now updated version is not showing my new history etc.

Is there any way to retrieve our original bookmarks, history and passwords?

I wish to export, and not copy, a digital certificate so that I can import it to Keychain on my Mac. The only option in Firefox Browser on Mac is to copy, which means it only opens as a TextEdit and cannot be imported.

Any recommendations?

There appears to be an echo for recipient of calls when I use Google Voice through Firefox. When I call people, they hear an echo of their own voice. I hear them fine. This just recently happened which I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the last update installed. I tried a different browser and it works fine. Please help.

I downloaded a app on my Macos Big Sur workstation (https://kevin-de-koninck.github.io/Clean-Me/) and I ran it (I did not have the option "User Preferences" Selected) Somehow, after rebooting my computer shortly after, it had logged me out of my Firefox account. That shouldn't be a big deal right? Somehow at the same time my Lastpass password program does not have that account saved in it. It has a secondary account ( that used to be the primary, but I guess I switched it at some point) that I can login to, however whenever I login to it, it says

For over a year some webpages show up blank in my Firefox browser. They all work fine in Inkognito/private windows.

I have tried emptying cache etc. Running Ventura 13.6.

One page recently stopped working and show: Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).

www.pinterest.com is completely white.

Facebook.com shows up fine but does not work properly.

Any instructions on exactly what to do?
