I just approved an upgrade to Firefox that mentioned something about a new way of dealing with extensions. The first thing I noticed was my 1Password add-on in the toobar disappeared. I took the steps recommended by 1Password to add it back, and I can get a 1Password icon to appear on the toolbar, but it is non-functional. I confirmed 1Password is still functional with an icon in the toolbars of my other browsers. What gives?

My browser has been updated, as well mentioned extensions (its only 4 of them really). They worked fine for years and now suddenly - when I click on them - there is no response! I refreshed and re-installed the browser as well. Restarting does not help either.
