I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Running FF 117.01 I ran Scanguard and now none of my Firefox bookmarks work. All are still showing up where they were, but none of the bookmarks led anywhere, when I click on them, nothing. Restarted FF, restarted the laptop. I also cannot seem to open the About Profiles page to check there. I would rather get this working if I can, other than re-installing. Thank you for any help.

I've noticed this issue happening randomly, some of my toolbar bookmarks listed on the sidebar just up and disappear from view. As if they were never there. But I know they're still saved because when I click to Manage Bookmarks and check them there, they show up fine. The toolbar just randomly hides them for whatever reason, and I can only fix it by closing Firefox and opening it again.

I'm on the current version. I remember accessing about:support and clicking on Verify Integrity while trying troubleshoot some other issue, but don't know if that could've caused it though.

I've downloaded and installed and updated Firefox on a new windows 11 PC - and I have a perfectly working installation on my (old) windows 10 Machine, so I'm well used to the browser! I've downloaded, installed and enabled three core, up-to-date addons: IDM, Adaware and Internet downlad helper: however NONE of them show on the toolbar and none of them function. And I've tried (I hope) all internet-search-suggested remedies such as reset Firefox etc. ad nauseam. All without success....

In settings it use to say "open links in new tabs" now it just says "Open links in tabs instead of new windows"... what happened to "open links in NEW tab"? That would be the preferred option. When I'm in a tab and there's a link I click on I do not want to lose what I'm currently in, I want the link to open in a NEW tab. This has really gotten annoying!

Any ideas why I am seeing these strange rectangles on Google maps?

Confirmed not caused by an extension as I still see them in Private window and do not see them when using Brave.

They don't stay in the same geographical location when zooming in and out.

On a site with a menu along the top the rightmost item is missing, and only in Firefox, not Chrome or Edge. It happens on various pages with the same menu setup. I cleared cookies & cache, turned off extensions, no luck. See attached image. What could the problem be ?

When logged in to the Shopify Website (admin page) using Firefox browser, attempt to click any link on the page automatically makes the page disappear and re-loops to my Login Page. I've worked with Shopify's Tech team and their investigation suggested...1st-remove cookies and cache on Firefox (did not work), 2nd-they tested their site and came back with no problems, everything works, 3rd-Try using Google Chrome browser to see if I would experience same problem of re-looping to my Login Page, everything works...no-re-looping to my Login Page and every link on the page works. On Shopify's Tech team recommendation as well as my desire to remain with Firefox browser, I need to get this problem of "page disappearing/re-looping to Login Page" on Shopify website fixed. I'm using version 117.0.1 (64-bit) just installed Firefox Notes and now that is the only sidebar that appears, my bookmarked favourites sidebar has disappeared. All the help says go to 'View' check the sidebar for favourites if checked always on, fine but where is 'View' I have been through every dropdown i can find and there is no 'View'

Firefox Notes looks useful but not at the expense of losing my favourites sidebar.

If I want to read a Pocket article, it asks me to sign in to Firefox. When I put in my user name, it does not advance beyond this page: https://accounts.firefox.com/oauth/signin?client_id= . . . I'm guessing that it may be allowing cookies, but it looks like cookies for Firefox and Mozilla are being allowed. Can you assist so I can save a Pocket story?

Hello, I have an account with you and thought you would save all my data, bookmarks, etc... I had to RESET my computer, and when I signed back into my FF account, all my bookmarks were deleted. Help please.

Hello, every since I've signed up with an account in Firefox, I've gotten marketing emails and other spam from Mozzila. I've opted out via the unsubscribe link several times, Ive tried checking "Unsubscribe from all emails" I've tried just leaving them all blank. But the emails persist.

Yes they are from Mozillas actual email, and the certificate checks out. Yes I've given it a few days. Yes, I've done the unsubscribe through my account settings as well. Please, I'm begging, someone at Mozilla look into this. I'd hate to black list your email and report Mozilla for violating the CAN-SPAM act.

I tried to log onto Youtube so I could make a few comments on a football game. They had to send me a code to my email (HOTMAIL) BTW I never received a code to LOG into YouTube. I used "Snip & Sketch" as I have many many times before but now I open a photo to edit it and Microsoft has taken over my photos. I mean as far as my editing capabilities. I've tried all the "OPEN WITH" options but can not get to the basic photo editor. Need some help here... Thanks in advance Steve

I'm the tech director (tech janitor) for a public school that is using Securly.com for their Internet filter. Securly requires installing their own certificate so they can be a man-in-the-middle. I've installed that cert into Firefox and that works fine. However, even with that cert installed, Sync doesn't work when I'm behind that filter. As soon as I take one of my computers off the school network, everything will sync up. I don't get any errors that sync is failing, it's just not working. Any ideas on how I can fix that issue?

I have been exchanging long emails with a vendor. Now I want to print all of the entire emails, but when I open the "chain" of the 23 emails, I see a few lines of text, and there is a small box that says "additional text hidden" or something similar. How do I expand each of the emails and print the whole email for each of the 23? Thanks.

When filling out forms in Firefox, it offers to autofill everything - first, middle, and last name, home address, credit card info, just now it even showed it has my social security number. When I go into Settings/Privacy & Security/Forms and Autofill, and click to view Saved Addresses/Saved Credit Cards, there are no entries to edit or remove. Why does Firefox have this info saved, and how can I remove it?

I have used a custom html file as my homepage for years and while I can get Firefox to accept it as my homepage, I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it so when I open a new tab it goes straight to said custom page. I've tried multiple different add-ons for Firefox and none have worked, and I've checked multiple different support questions here and am still unable to figure this out.
