Hi, please assist. My old Gmail account that I used to login is no longer working when I try to reset password. I don't have a 2FA push code (must have deleted this); however, I tried one of the 2FA backup codes which I do have (ten digit) to sync and access my old account and reset the password, but it is not working. None of the codes are working. Please help me reset and gain access to the account. Can you help me reset the password, and disable 2FA so I can get back in?

I have a situation - which I had previously researched and resolved - that has come back to haunt me.

I use an ultra-widescreen monitor and searching/browsing obviously necessitates a center-screen search box which, up until now, Firefox has provided cleanly and with simplicity. However, I see that (once again) despite cursor placement in the center-screen box the search text is being entered in the address bar which is wholly impractical for me since I have to look about 60 degrees left and upwards to see what I am typing.

I say "again" because when this happened previously I was able to make a config change and resolve it but despite that still being in effect - the ".handoffToAwesomebar" is still set to FALSE - search text now has moved back to the address bar.

A brief search of this community yielded no answers. Is there any other known fix or has this now be thrust upon us permanently and thou shalt adapt?

Hello. I have two questions about settings. 1. I want to hide the "Take Screenshot" option from the Firefox right-click menu. 2. I want to hide the "Original Profile" option from the options that appear when you click the Firefox hamburger menu.

I'm asking about these two points. 1. I'm trying to hide the "Take Screenshot" option, but I couldn't find a solution even after searching. about:config ↓ extensions.screenshots.disabled ↓ From true to false ↓ Even restarting Firefox didn't hide the "Take Screenshot" option. 2. Regarding hiding the "Original Profile," I can't find any information about this option, so is it impossible to hide it? I'm asking about these two points.

Hi! I had a firefox account when I worked for the law firm McCormick Barstow a few years ago. I haven't worked there for a few years. I just set up firefox on my personal computer, but am having problems changing my primary email from my work email ([email address]) to my personal email ([email address]). Can you help? I reinstalled Windows and downloaded the browser again. I logged into my account, turned on synchronization, but none of the data was synced. I am absolutely sure that synchronization was enabled on my old browser. I tried turning it off and on again, but nothing helps. Please help me get my data back!

The autofill card details isn't working. When I try to I get the message "You have no saved cards."

When I go into the Privacy & Security tab I can see that I have a number of cards saved correctly.

I really appreciate Firefox's built in translator; it is extremely helpful. However there is one thing that bugs me, when translating a page that has multiple language options. For example, when translating a page from German to English, the word "Deutsch" (often listed in the website's built in language settings) is translated not to "German", but to "English". While technically correct in that the page is now displaying English thanks to the Firefox translation, it would probably be better to show "German" so that it is easier to switch the website language and not have a duplicate "English" option in the website's dropdown menu. I have noticed this on multiple websites, specifically with German, but it might be with other languages as well. Hopefully this explanation of the issue makes sense, and see my attached screenshot which shows this issue. Please let me know if there is somewhere else I should submit this too.

Thank you in advance. I have a question about the "Screen zoom ratio" that appears in the Firefox address bar. I don't know how to hide it. The address bar is set to 105%, which I find to be the best zoom ratio, so I keep it set to that. I know you're busy, but I would really appreciate it if you could let me know. Thank you very much.

The last update (which was VERY rocky... I had to reinstall and functionality has NOT been great since) eliminated the Bookmarks icon from the top ribbon. I've looked through settings, but find no way to restore it. Can it be restored? I now have to click the menu, Settings, and THEN Bookmarks.

Hello, I'm using Firefox 147.0.4 on Windows 11. When I open the Adobe Firefly website and I try to upload a file to the Adobe server using drag and drop or by browsing the Windows file system, nothing happens ... There's no error message, but the file isn't uploaded. Of course, this site works perfectly with Opera or Edge... On the Adobe forums, many users have the same problem with Firefox, and Adobe's response is always the same: change browsers ! I noticed a wierd popup when opening mozilla. It said "you're always starting mozilla when starting the pc". How and why does an internet browser have to have any information regarding when I boot my PC? What else does mozilla look at outside the browser environment?

If they claim it's needed for performance: Illogical, boot times have nothing to do with the internet browser. If referring to general performance then you can't possibly track and tailor every new piece of hardware that enters the market. Instead you make your browser with prerequisites that you yourself control (eg. install vcredist for this browser to work or something like that).

Why then is Mozilla monitoring my computer when the browser isn't even open or running?
