I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

As of a few weeks ago, I can no longer copy and paste when using Outlook for emails with Firefox as the browser. I have no issues if I use the MSN browser. When using Firefox, I can copy and paste in the subject line but not the body of the text. This is a real pain! I had no issues until a few weeks ago. If I try to copy and paste, I am able to copy but when I right click I no longer get a "paste" option. I now have an emoji option in its place. What's up with that?! I am using Windows 11 as the operating system on a Dell computer. Thanks in advance!

I know my Firefox (Win 10) blocks ads because I can see where they were supposed to be. Also, Youtube ads at the beginning of a video last only 1 or 2 seconds. But I've forgotten how I achieved that. I can find no evidence of an ad blocker on my computer or my Firefox browser. How can I find out how ads are blocked?

Had to reinstall windows, so of course I backup everything except for one thing. Should not be a biggy since it gets stored and synced. Except when the syncing isnt working no matter what fixes you try. I disabled eset, grabbed an even older profile from a older backup try see if it was due to the profile. still nothing. Suggested and tried: Creating a bookmark and removing. Creating a new profile and loging in to sync there. adding an addon something in about:config to force everything syncing resetting browser troubleshoot mode rebooting pc

Every fix I have tried. I don't get why I cannot just see what sync is doing instead of a spinning icon perhaps a segment on the settings menu of sync since you made a segment for that anyways. I feel stupid for forgetting to copy my profile but firefox is stupid for not being able to have it just simply download the freaking profile. Like I get software sometimes messes up for random reasons. But if only there was then an backup option to download my profile as it is loose from the settings segment. As if its so hard to download a 200~mb profile (I assume since my old profile was around that). I know it can take long to download from what I read but I let it run for over an hour and nothing.

Honestly I am livid that there is no option now to sync my account and that I can get no feedback other than a log that is just mostly gibberish for the average user. why can't I just see error reading from server or corrupt profile cannot download or w.e or downloading xxxxxx file @5% 0.00001kbps.

I get sync isn't meant to be a cloud storage system but in the past it always worked when I forgot the profile backup and if it didn't I was able to fix it back then somehow. I hope someone can help resolve this so I don't loose everything.

A couple weeks ago Youtube videos stopped working on my PC. It keeps spinning and tells me to try restarting my device which does not help. Have tried several suggestions I've found, like clearing cache and cookies and history, disabling extensions, but not uninstalling and reinstalling because Youtube plays fine in Edge and also plays in Firefox on the other user on my PC. I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

I keep getting this msg for my amazon acct and other accts I've used on this same laptop for years. Now all of a sudden I get this msg: Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

How can I add a webpage shortcut to the FireFox home page in Windows 10? I just want to simply add a shortcut to a webpage that is currently not on the home page, in spite of having visited it several times. since the automatic adding of visited sites is not consistent (some sites do not show up on the home page no matter how often I visit them while others that I have visited once act like they are pinned, but they are not), I need to be able to add a website shortcut manually, and none of the help articles that I have found successfully do that. at least in my current version of Firefox, which is version 108.0.2 (64-bit).

For some reason text on some websites such as wikipedia and timeanddate is completely messed up, it looks like gibberish but is actually just displayed wrong. When you copy the text and paste it into something like Word it shows the text correctly, I've noticed that the text is shifted by one letter forward (e is f, f is g, etc.). I've tried the main, beta and nightly releases as well as reinstalling Firefox. Images attached.

Is there a way that I can recover my New Tab page setup (just the new tab page) from a Macrium Reflect backup of my OS disk? I recently did some cleanup that cratered my FireFox profile (developer and beta also). I would like to somehow recover just the New Tab page setup from the os backup. Any solution? I like to have my browsing history cleared after I quit Firefox, but I found out that this will break the action to open previous windows and tabs.

How to have these two options live together?

Dear Firefox, It is a matter of great regret that your popular browser has failed to sync back my saved bookmarks and other data once i reinstalled firefox. This issue is not new as it happened to me before.. Last time I didn't bother as I thought this might be an bug but today once I reinstalled firefox and signed in.. It seemed that firefox has yet once again failed to syn all my bookmarks, data, extensions etc... It is a huge pain as I cant keep on repeating myself to save all the extensions and preferences.. please solve this issue or I wll have to seek other browsers

Had to refresh Firefox but lost my bookmark sidebar & can't find a way to re-establish it. Used to be a setting for it at the top of the home page but none now. Can't find it in settings.

I have a big problem with password security. While checking my passwords I see bad passwords, I click to remove and next day they are back again. I have deleted approximately 20 to 30 passwords and almost all have returned? Something is seriously wrong and I am almost positive a hacker has gotten into the computer? Anything else I can check???
