Again Firefox? Again? Third time the charm or something? Stop this ridiculous handoff from Search bar in page to URL bar for searches. It's not safe, helpful, or anything other than confusing. Give us the Option. Seriously, it is why we use FF in the first place, Despite tons of companies not supporting it well for website access. I am mad and literally after decades of use am making my first formal complaint. Fix This Please. Add a bunch of appropriate curse words here please. Thanks and keep up all the other great work.

as i mentioned on the ticket name, my default page shortcuts clips every webpage i visit.

i do not want ev ery visited page on my shortcuts. i want my specific choices of frequently used pages to only be up on there.

i've checked settings for default page shortcuts, but i cannot find anything other than how many row it can show.

any idea on this matter?

I do not care to see the "widgits" on my desktop opening page. It appeared a few days ago. I do not want to be obligated to its appearance there. A User of FoxFire should be given the opportunity to elect to have it or not. I do not remember reading that it was going to appear. I was concerned when it first appeared. When opening a new page in Firefox I am shown a few widgets.

It shows the time of sports events and different timezones. But it shows this in a non-local time format - the 12 hour format (so it says 06:00 PM instead of 18:00).

In about:config I found a setting called "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.widgets.clocks.hourFormat" but what are the acceptable formats to use here? It's not a boolean value, and by default nothing is there. I tried writing 24, HH:mm, and some other things, but didn't notice a difference.

I would be SO HAPPY if you could add an option under new tab in settings so you can set new tab to a URL or upload a static site! Currently, you can set Firefox home to a custom URL, but you can only set new tab to a blank page or the "Firefox home" page. It would be good if you added an option to upload a static site and add the URL option for new tab too! I want this because I have actually made my own static site custom new tab page, but I can't actually use it. =(

Widgets had been working well for me up until today, when I discovered that none of the widgets below my shortcuts were loading. In the widget settings, they're activated, but only weather shows up (in the top right corner). What am I doing incorrectly?

The homepage for Firefox has not loaded correctly since the new updates of a month or so ago (maybe a bit longer). The windows all just scroll from left to right with no data. The widgets showing date, time, etc show up, but the 12 windows for stories just grey scroll left to right. Someone said it will fix itself. Ok. Any ideas out there?

First time user. Setting up homepage. Can't get rid of the Amazon tile. Clicking the 3 dots only gives option to pin or dismiss. Clicking dismiss does not remove it. I have disabled Firefox sponsored shortcuts AND stories, shut down and restarted the computer twice and it is still there. I want it gone please help.

j'ai l'habitude de faire mes recherches sur la barre de recherche centrale et non sur l'url. Bien que le curseur soit positionné dessus, je ne peux pas y écrire, je suis redirigée sur l'url. J'ai bien mis à false la ligne qui convient dans about:config, mais ce n'est toujours pas possible. Que faut il faire ?

not really a request for help since release 147.0.3 searches handoff to awesome and can't be changed by using about:config dropping back to 145.0.2 allows prevention

Hi, I'm trying to stop search from jumping to the address bar.

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar is not working.

Nor is keyword.enabled.

Cleared the cache etc. Odd time it works but goes back once restarted.

It has worked in the past. Could you help please Thanks Guy
