Hello, I hope somebody can give me some guidance about two issues that are driving me crazy. To provide some context, I use Firefox to work from home and my primary interest is accessing government and bank sites from my country to fill out tax forms and pay said taxes, therefore the browser built in provisions that deal with web page development, shortcuts, Artificial Intelligence, Social Media are utterly useless to me. The issues are as follow: 1. I regularly access the website of the federal tax authority of my country and local state hundreds of times each day. After a while, normally two months, Firefox starts to behave like a drug addict: It develops a resistance to the security cookies from these sites that worsens over time, until eventually the websites plain out kick me as soon as I log in. The only workaround is to use Privacy Mode or another browser until Firefox starts to behave again. In 2026 this started to happen with the bank website too. 2. After a fit of rage after a failed task I was in the process of attemping to destroy the mouse when reason finally prevailed but not before I got another issue with Firefox: The browser now prints (To PDF and paper) every single item from dropdown menues in webpages that cointan these elements. I already tried re-installing the browser, doing a clear install, erasing cache and cookies, deleting profiles. Thank you for any guidance.

Why is Firefox blocking my access to certain form fields such as User ID, Email Address entry and Security question prompts to web accounts I have, such as a Rumpke payment portal? It blockeed my access so I cannot so you now for invalid tries because I could not key into them and locked me out of my account- sorry.

The past few months, I get a periodic issue with Firefox. I've done some searches and looked, but nothing anyone has suggested seems to work. I also run the Chrome browser on this same computer (I have 2 Etsy shops and prefer to stay logged in to both of them, so 2 browsers are a must). NOTE: I've been doing it 'this way' since the early 2010.

This is a new Dell Windows 11 desktop. No issues with the computer. The browser is up to date.

I keep from 3-8 tabs open at a time. My Etsy shop. My email. My shipping supplier. Etc. None of these run a lot of hot graphics or anything. Suddenly, I see 'sparkles (the only way I know to describe it) on some text boxes/etc) then...the address bar starts with the flashing pink/magenta.

Appreciate some help in getting this to stop. Again, doesn't happen on the Chrome browser. Only Firefox. I've used Firefox for a very long time and appreciate it. So I hope that I don't have to go to a different browser.

Every time go to Firefox home page (clear browser settings), I get "Account Disconnected" message.

I have another PC with the same Firefox browser homepage and do not have the problem.

Firefox no longer allows me to delay updates. Twice in 2 weeks, all of my cookies were blown away during the Firefox installations of 150.0.0 and 150.0.1. I have 8 Google Email Accounts - all forgotten and no longer accessible. The same is true for Yahoo finance; banks; and the myriad of other sites I use daily. I checked this morning, and all sites visited before 150.0.1 was installed (against my will), have zero cookies. Only sites visited after the installation of 150.0.1 have cookies. This is a tiny subset of cookies I rely on for daily use.

This makes Firefox useless. I can't spend hours trying to recover from untested software every two weeks. Until this is fixed, I have to switch to Chrome or Edge.

Despite trying all available solutions, importing bookmarks from Chrome does not work in this firefox latest version 150.0.1. When importing Bookmarks from Chrome, the Saved Passwords file is fully imported and shows 163 Nos. imported. But on opening Firefox, nothing is there. No folder contains imported bookmaks. Tried importing several times, but to no avail. Uninstalled, restarted PC and reinstalled firefox. But importing Bookmarks and Passwords from Chrome sucks. I am fully aware of the procedure. So no more detailing needed. Using firefox since the last 16 years. But the software makers are simply spoiling a good browser by deliberately creating issues. Tried importing from saved html file of bookmakrs, but that also is not helpful. Why Firefox is deliberately causing such errors with updated versions? Please release next version after thoroughly checkining this importing feature and ensure that it works correctly. I tried uninstalling, restarting the PC and reinstalling with with full offline installer as well as online installer. Nothing helped. Chrome works smoothly. Earlier firefox did not have any such issues. With each update, problems after prblems started creeping in with someone deliberately tweeking the software and spoiling a good browser. Please look into it seriously and provide a solution.

I am sometimes able to open E-Bay, and open individual members of a folder containing over 100 members searches. When opening all the members of this folder, either most of the members will open the E-Bay page with the rest giving the msg below, or all the members of the folder will open, but when pressing the link this msg occurs: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?" on this server.

How can I log on to my Bank? Firefox download has invalidated username and password and says it will not store such data. The latter is OK but how can I proceed with bank?

Is there any way I can retrieve my bookmarks from old installation of Firefox? I lost my bookmarks due to fault on my PC. I have a new drive and have reinstalled Firefox on this one. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've had this problem with viewing expanded jpg's that up until now, I've been trying to get along with. On the website, milesplit.com, there's an option at the bottom of every picture, it gives the option saying to click here to view a larger version. After I click it, I get a small box saying "You have chosen to open..." and then a big string of letters and numbers for the file name. It continues "which is: application/octet-stream file (156 KB) from: d193frjqb908ar.cloudfront.net" And then asks what Firefox should do with it, either open or save it. From there, I always select Open with and click on Browse. The next screen is long and narrow and at the top it says to Choose Helper App. Then, it gives the application/octet-stream name, which happens to be the same no matter what picture you're looking at, and then it says Send this item to and gives (in my case) 6 apps to readily click on, with Firefox being at the top. As I always want Firefox to open it, I just click OK and then click OK again in the smaller box. And finally, the larger version of the picture is displayed in another tab. Now, I've been using this site on and off for at least 15 years and before a few years ago, I had no problems. So, is this a fixable problem, or do I have to keep on doing what I have been doing?

Since the latest update, when I click on a link to an image containing a JPG (JPEG) file, now Firefox opens a new tab but it's empty, and it automatically downloads the JPG file, saving it in Downloads. To see the image, I have to go to Downloads and choose to open the file. I hate this. How does software get dumber like this? Someone messed up. It's not just some sites, it's all the time, so Firefox changed.

Is there a quick fix for this in Settings? I've been looking to no avail.

I Believe that the last update to firefox changed a lot of things in my PC. Passwords are not working. I am having to change them every other day because it says the one I used is in correct. Amazon has lost my info about orders. My contact number says it is in use with another account. email is not working like it has. My calendar has lost all my appointments that were on it. this is just a few that I have noticed.

I am a long time Chrome user but decided to give Firefox a try for various reasons. 1 like Firefox's ability to highlight and add text comments to articles and documents. One feature lacking, or maybe it exists but I have not discovered it, would be the ability to copy and save all highlights / commnents in an article / document to subsequently use them as a summary, abstract, or digest of main points To preclude having to re read the entire document again And that's wanting to do so. There is a Chrome extension called Highlighter that Does just that , supports the copy all highlights.

Unable to play a video on Hulu with my own Hulu account, which I have had no issues in the past doing, even with all my ad blockers and trackers enabled (Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, AdBlocker Ultimate, Ghostery, and Malwarebytes). I have tried disabling all of the above extensions, refreshing the website and still no luck. My internet speed is fine, I checked it through 3 different internet speed testers to verify Also checked my Wifi signal through our Google Home portal. I've searched online for solutions and haven't found anything new to help or in the Mozilla Support forum. My computer/laptop is up to date on all updates and software. Hello. I have a question regarding a problem with exporting files in Firefox. For about four days now, when I try to export files in Firefox, it fails. I've looked into it, but haven't been able to find a solution. Could you please give me some advice? I've tried various things within my capabilities, but nothing has worked. Firefox 150.0.1 64bit

No Bookmarks (which are shown as imported from Chrome, almost 163 number of Bookmarks) are visible anywhere in Firefox. They are neither stored in the Bookmarks Tool Bar nor in any folder named Imported from Chrome. This is the situation. Uninstalled Firefox, removed all Folders (including the ones in hidden folders) and cleaned the Registry. Restarted the PC, reinstalled Firefox directly from the firefox site online, tried importing the Bookmarks from Chrome after restarting on installation of Firefox. Saved All passwords from Chrome as a CSV file (a Firefox requirement) and tried importing Bookmarks from Chrome along with the Passwords from the CSV file saved on Desktop. Again, the importing showed 163 Nos. of Bookmarks are imported. But on restarting Firefox, no bookmark could be found. Neither in the Bookmarks toolbar nor in any folder named with any name. My Bookmarks toolbar is checked as Always visible. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW TO MAKE THE FIREFOX WORK as in the previous version. This kind of an error has crept only after updating Firefox to v150.0.1.

the last update of firefox wiped out my amazon account on my pc. It completely cleared my calendar. Messed with my passwords on some of my accounts. Can someone tell me how to get these things back. I am not a computer wiz.

How can I resolve the failure to open because it can't find the XPCOM. I downloaded a new copy but the computer insists on using the older, faulty version to open files and it will not work.
