FINALLY got my zorin os to update, and now also have the newest version of firefox uploaded and working. My singlefile addon works properly, I have upgraded to the newest versions of my video downloaders, and I have cleared my history, but my 2 video downloaders still don't recognize any videos on youtube. Any suggestions or alternative downloaders?

Since the last update, I believe, because this error occurs constantly and with EVERY video. This is often, not always, the case immediately after updating FF. Now it was fine for a while, but now it's so bad that I'm having trouble watching YT videos properly. Reason: Browser open, logged in to YT. And oh wonder - immediately, instantly with the change, the video starts playing. This is extremely annoying - if it doesn't work, I have to switch browsers... What is also extremely annoying is that it occurs almost regularly after an update ... until the next one possibly, for unknown reasons, does not fix the error, but sometimes mitigates it. I am running Firefox 144.0 on kubuntu 24.04.3 LTS I have lost sound on Firefox. I have opened the same sites in Chrome and the sound is working fine. It's only in Firefox. I have tried several sites including Udemy, YouTube, and radio programs, no sound from Firefox. The problem started in the middle of a Jit.Si session. All of a sudden the sound disappeared. I thought that restart Firefox would help, then restart the computer would help. But the problem has continued. The speakers is turned on the volume is up, just not a sound from Firefox. What to do?

My issue is that when watching F1 from the following site: https://f1tv.formula1.com/, after some time (it differs in how long it takes to manifest), the stream starts to stutter. Note, it is NOT buffering, it is like the stream gets "stuck" or freezes for an instant then continues. The "freeze" then becomes more frequent and sometimes even lasts for about 2 seconds before resuming. The most important fact about all this is that this does NOT happen when using Google Chrome, hence my suspicion that it is somehow related to Firefox specifically. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and/or how to fix it, please?

Hello, I am facing an issue while playing YouTube videos in Firefox. The videos are lagging and not playing smoothly, even though my internet connection is fine. Please help me fix this problem.

I've noticed that whenever I press ⌥⇧Space (option-shift-spacebar) in Firefox Developer Edition, it causes the page to refresh.

This behaviour seems to be consistent across devices.

Is there a way to change/disable this behaviour? It is very inconvenient, as it often causes me to accidentally trigger a page refresh when I type an em dash (`—`) in a text input (opt-shift-dash, and then type a space character after it, I'm very likely to hit opt-shift-space by mistake 🙈).

Hello! from this morning and alongside a new Firefox update i've been having graphical artifacts on Youtube/Facebook/Netflix. I've followed all the standard steps.

Disabled Hardware Acceleration. Updated Video Drives. Run FF in Safe Mode without plugins. Disabled Router level VPN and Ghostery.

Any ideas?

I'm running FF135.0 Geforce 572.16 Drives (30th Jan) 3070TI. Windows 10 Pro 22H2.

I have a message "Your browser is being managed by your organization." in "Settings" (about:preferences). 4. In "about:policies" I have DisableFirefoxAccounts=TRUE. 5. in "about:config" identity.fxaccounts.enabled=false and grayed out.

Please help me to turn on the sync of bookmarks. All these listed issues obviously have something to do with it.

When I load the video the page loads like normal, all comments and everything is there except the video square is not there. cant see the video, anyhow. even if i move my mouse cursor on it on the start page, the little video wont play the preview. no video player at all. anywhere.

After updating firefox from 128.8.0 to 128.9.0, no embedded videos will play (youtube, instagram, plex, etc...)

The only way to get them to play is to run the browser in troubleshoot mode. Even a fresh browser profile doesn't work. Disabling hardware acceleration also does not work. Tried firefox 137.0.2 and that also does not work. Downgraded back to 128.8.0 and videos play flawlessly again.

I'm running firefox on gentoo linux on a thinkpad x13s (arm64) which uses Qualcomm Adreno 690 graphics.

no matter what I try I cannot get any content from HBO max, crunchyroll, or spotify to play. I feel as though I have tried every troublshooting step. In firefox 140.0.4 64 bit on windows 10 I have:

-turned DRM off and on -disabled and re-enabled widevine -disabling all extensions -try in a private tab -turning off tracking protection -clearing cookies/cache/site data -uninstalling and reinstalling firefox -trying on firefox nightly -trying on other firefox based browsers zen, librefox same issue. chromium based browsers and firefox on my windows 11 laptop play drm content like normal -manually installing older version of widevine -changing useragent to chrome(this triggered cloudflare and would not let me pass) -making another user in windows and trying there

the error i get on crunchyroll is code: DRM-0 and on spotify it loads but the play icon does nothing. in hbo max i get error code 1k-0003

At this point I don't know what else to try, If there is not another solution I probably try to just switch to brave browser or wiping this pc and reinstalling windows.
