These icons appeared recently in my Firefox browser I can't remove them. The only recent changes included uninstalling SuperAntiSpyware after finding that Microsoft PC Manager is a better option, which has performed excellently without issues.

Additionally, a free VPN (Proton) was briefly used from the Firefox browser without installation, but after finding it complicated to set up, it was deleted. A few hours later, I noticed the two icons as the windows were misbehaving and they are causing a slowdown in the PC's performance. They do not seem to be add-ons or extensions.

How do I remove the icons and return to the previous performance?

A heart has recently been included in the Firefox icon in my taskbar. What's the reason for it and what do I have to do so that the Firefox icon no longer has it? I've run a number of antimalware programs and they came up with nothing.

The Firefox icon looks like it has a shopping cart on the top-left hand side. What is this for? It is only happening on the Windows 11 taskbar (not the desktop or menu shortcut).

popped up after an update, not only is it slightly distracting but also annoying as now when i try to pick up or select a tab by putting my mouse at the top of the screen it does nothing, as i select the useless black bar instead

146.0 (64-bit) Windows 11 December 11, 2025 Turned on computer this am, Firefox webpage popped up telling me about what is in it's future but now my side bar is black print on really dark background. Help!

The entire window of Firefox has an abnormally low resolution, makes the entire browser seems blurred. This issue occurs after I upgrade firefox to 146.0. I've attached a screenshot, and you can see the Firefox window has lower resolution than the wallpaper and task bar.

It looks an update occurred but now my bookmarks Column has a white background with white type. I can't read anything there because its all the same color how do I change the background to black?

Running version 146.0.1 No new extensions. Recently, when I hit ctrl+b to bring up the bookmarks sidebar, it opens but doesn't display the bookmark correctly. (image #1) The sidebar opens, but everything is whited out. The same thing happens when I try to open the history sidebar, except that the urls kind of show up. (image #2). Also, when I'm on my homepage, there's a white line on the left side that I can't get rid off. (image #3) I also tried refreshing firefox, but that didn't do anything. Does anyone have an idea what may be causing this? Thanks

When using Firefox mobile for android, a black bar appears at the bottom of the screen, above the address bar. Please see attached picture.

It only seems to occur when the "scroll to hide toolbar" setting is disabled. The bar moves upwards when using the keyboard.

My bookmarks side bar font changed color from black to white, how do I get it back to black?

I can't seem to find where the font color is available to change colors.

My address bar disappeared. I can get it back by hitting F10 but it doesn't stay. How can I get it back and keep it? When I go to the Customize Toolbar setting, the address bar is not there.

Web pages that are supposed to contain emojis are blank. I can highlight where emojis are supposed to be shown but the actual images of the emojis aren't there. about:config font.name-list.emoji correctly contains "Apple Color Emoji" If it is relevant, this has been a bug/issue that has persisted for a couple of months now (can't name an exact date).

My emails used to display in date order but since a Mozilla upgrade they are now grouped as Today, Yesterday and Last Week. Is there a setting to alter this back to one list in date order please?

Not sure if this is the correct topic, but I have been using Firefox for over 20 years, and after the last update, there is an icon missing from my Firefox browser page. It's the "file" icon in the very upper left corner of the window that allows "new tab", "new window", etc. I'm still using windows10, on an ASUS PC, but never had the problem until just recently. I've restarted the computer, reloaded the window, nothing works to restore that icon/function. Thanks - Mike B

With the last couple of updates to Firefox (now running v133) on Windows 10 I noticed that there is a new search bar that overwrites the tabs on top of the Firefox window when I click into the URL bar, which is set up to be used for search. This began to happen recently but I'd like to know how to configure Firefox to do search like it used to, in the URL bar not a new search bar, and disable this new search bar that disorients me when it pops up and disappears.
