My problem is that in new versions of Firefox (from 115) there is no way to enter numeric values ​​using the mouse wheel. The browser simply scrolls the entire page. In older versions this problem does not exist.

I tried to compare the settings about:config but did not succeed. There must be some parameter responsible for this.

In fact, they force you to update by deprecating certificates, but it is becoming more and more difficult to use :(

Recently, my bookmarks have disappeared (but leaving empty folders), reappeared, or reappeared but incompletely. (incompletely meaning not all showed up - alphabetically, only bookmarks beginning through letter "D." I have read in an article a statement that Primary Password encrypts all saved logins, therefore it is safer and recommended to use it. Well, I observed that it does not really matter if the password is set for the contents of logins.json, it does not change. What exactly is encrypted by Primary Password and how does it improve security?

I also tried to set the same password for different websites (I used a different mail tho) and the output in logins.json is different, which is even more confusing to me.

I get the server not found error on almost anything.

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

The site usually loads after I wait like 2-3 mins before reloading the site, or I force reload it around 7 times, but I cannot find a way to make the issue go away. I have refreshed Firefox, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it fresh, I have opened Firefox in Troubleshooting mode and the issue persists. I am at the end of my wits. Someone please give me something else to try.

Hi, When i want a new tab on Firefox i have 'Freshy' which appears while with Safari this does not happen .I heard that Freshy is an Hacker site .Pls lest me know how can I Remove it or avoid it Thanks for your feedback Regards

The Firefox Sync system is really neat for keeping our booksmarks synced across devices, but what I would also love to see is the option to sync all settings as well, including the changes made in the "about:config" settings.

Across my years of browsing I changed quite a lot of small little things and having to track all of those down every time I set up a new device or reinstall windows can get a bit tedious, so I was wondering if those settings can also be included in the Sync settings somehow - or if such a feature might be planned for the future?

I have latest version of firefox on my windows 10 dell inspiron 7560 ... I have been using firefox for about 18 years now

system info - i7 - 8GB RAM, windows 10, one 128 GB SSD and other 512GB SSD

Since yesterday, it has been crashing after every 2-5 minutes; in troubleshooter mode as well...

I ran Windows RAM memory test, it turned out to be okay... I ran a Dell hardware test, it informed me that my fan is not working properly; though I doubt its the reason for my Firefox crashing

Hello Firefox friends o/

Anyone knows how do I make https://yandex.com my default search engine? (in the top bar of the browser). I have attached a screenshot of my settings page. Please have a look at the suspicious lack of an "Add" button 🤔. Despite my efforts, the drop-down menu will not show the available options in the screenshot, you will have to take my word for it, the only available options in that menu are: Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, eBay and Wikipedia (en).

P.S. The settings page in Firefox must change really often, as I seen so many people suggesting many outdated methods online.

Seems like the newest Firefox update (131.0) changed the way my Home Page (on the new tab) looks. WHY??

Now there's a giant logo taking up a fifth of the vertical space, forcing me to scroll to see my shortcut icons. WHY????

Oh, and the shortcut icons are now spaced farther apart and are significantly smaller. WHY????????

I set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.logowordmark.alwaysVisible to false but the logo is still present.

Please revert these changes. Or, if someone could provide me with some tips on how to edit the userchrome.css or whatever, that would be great.

I know it may sound a bit strange, but I would like to know WHY an extension is not allowed in a private window, so I might understand the reason why I'm not able to diagnose an issue I'm having with fucking amazon who has their cart all over the place for a misconfiguration in firefox that either I did or an extension is causing, however I'm unable to figure out which because I can't enable extensions in private windows, where the issue does not happen, so I'm not able to reproduce and isolate the problem. I have two notebooks with Firefox (NB1 and NB2). NB2 rebooted and Firefox restarted losing all open tabs; now I would like to bring the tabs from NB1 to NB2; both have synchronisation enabled, but when I go to ‘Settings, synchronisation’ on NB2 it says ‘Synchronising in progress’ and nothing happens. I've also tried going to NB1 and sending a tab to NB2; I select NB2 and nothing happens.

I am use to having the address bar on top of the homepage on my laptop. I am on my tablet more than my laptop and after installing Mozilla Firefox the address bar is on the bottom. Yikes, Is there an option to move it to the top? If not I will just have to get use to it.

There are 32 shortcuts on my home screen - 4 rows of 8 each. However, I accidentally "dismissed" one shortcut - now there are 31 total. I cannot figure out how to restore a shortcut. Is the solution in about:config (browser.newtabpage.pinned)?
