I am running Firefox 76.0.1 on GalliumOS 3.1 on a Lenovo N21. For some reason, my add ons don't show up or work, even though they are installed. Firefox works great on my other two machines, and used to work great on this one. Thank you Jason Stone.

This is driving me nuts.
My desired behavior is that, when I middle-mouse-click on a hyperlink, Firefox launches a new window (not a tab) with that URL.
This is how it was working before a power interruption forced my computer to restart tonight, and my desired behavior has gone away.
The middle mouse button works for other functions; and, middle-clicking on bookmarks in my bookmark bar does launch a new window with that bookmark as expected. However, middleclicking a hyperlink does nothing.
I have browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick = false and in the options menu, "open links in tabs instead of new windows" is unchecked. Additionally I have set browser.link.open_newwindow = 2.
Can anyone help me here? This is driving me slightly batty.

I am unable to get the 'recommended by Pocket' panel to appear in new tabs with my normal user Firefox profile (Firefox account sign-in) on Mac Catalina. When I go to about:preferences#home the option simply is not present.
I created a new user login on my mac to access banking and other financials. This uses a separate Firefox profile (including new Firefox account sign-in and email), and the 'recomended by Pocket' panel is present.
The panel is present on new tabs opened for my normal Firefox account sign-in on my iOS (iPhone) Firefox install.
The about:config settings searching for 'pocket' appear to be the defaults, and match the settings in the financials account.
I have tried in 'safe mode' (add-ons disabled) and have done a Firefox 'refresh', however my add-ons (and presumably everything else) were restored when I signed back into my normal Firefox user account.
Hovering over the Pocket icon in the address bar displays 'save to Pocket', implying to me that it has signed me into Pocket. I've signed in at getpocket.com. New Firefox profiles without signing in do not show 'recommended by Pocket' in either new tabs or the about:preferences#home configuration page, but I expect the functionality requires being signed in to a Firefox account.
Help or suggestions much appreciated.

The new version of Firefox has removed the drop-down arrow from the address bar, a feature I use several times a day.
Previously, there was a way to restore this by setting a number of "browser.urlbar" options to "False." However, these are currently set at False.
Please advise. Without the drop-down arrow, Firefox is not useful at all.

Plainly speaking, I don't like the new address bar, how it auto completes my searches or the results it pulls. I didn't like it when it was defaulted to being on starting with version 75 but I was able to easily switch a few setting in about:config to fix it. Those settings no longer affect the address bar as of update 77.
The settings I had changed were:
browser.urlbar.openViewOnFocus browser.urlbar.update1 browser.urlbar.update1.interventions browser.urlbar.update1.searchTips
which were all set to false. I saw that setting "browser.urlbar.disableExtendForTests" to "true" might be the solution but, while it does stop the address bar from expanding when using it, it also stops it from expanding at all so the websites that would come up from searching can no longer be seen either (they are still called and using the down arrow will let me scroll through the results, I just can't see any of them). It also doesn't fix the results issue which I would say is the most important.
I would like to know what I need to do so that: 1. The results it shows me are no longer based on frequent visit (basically, the pre-update search system, as is they are scattered and look messy, pulling many different sites in a seemingly random order and it's not particularly useful) 2. It no longer autocompletes results (IE. "F" autocompleting to "facebook.com", this is always something that has bothered me regardless is context) 3. It no longer pops out/expands when in use (admittedly this is mostly an aesthetic issue but I still don't like how it looks)

How do I disable the blue flash when a tab finishes loading? I'd like to suggest an option in a future release that disables all these things.
I find it a real distraction, and it's really putting me off using firefox as a broswer. I really don't think this sort of eye candy is needed in order to browse the internet.

I've tried to install several search engines via Mycroft Project to use them through the search bar but that doesn't seem to be working.
I don't get any notice, it just doesn't work.
Also, one of the search engines I've been using (Twitter) seems to have disappeared from my browser. That's what got me to try to install it again, with no luck so far.
(I've dowloaded Firefox Nightly, installed it from scratch, and seem to have the problem.)

How can I send this suggestion to the developers? and get an email that they read my suggestion?..

Hi,
I would like to set this pref to TRUE by default with the use of user.js file but I can't find the name of the pref related to this behaviour :
I'm on a window. I click on a link. Before it fully load, i get back on my first tab. The opened tab fired up a popup to inform me of something.
I would like to be automaticly redirected on this tab without having to manually press the checkbox on the dialog popup.
There must be a preference to add to user.js in my profile folder to set it to TRUE.
Thank's

How to disable: "Your internet connection was restored" notifications? – Terribly annoying and only started in the last version 77.0.1 very recently. I rather switch to another browser if I cannot get rid of this. Checked my 3 plug-ins, but cannot find anything there, nor if it is something on Facebook I cannot find it. Any idea?

Prior to the latest version, I had set "media.autoplay.enabled.user-gestures-needed" in about:config to False in addition to blocking both audio and video within the settings so that nothing would autoplay without my input.
I updated to version 78 yesterday, and it seems that "media.autoplay.enabled.user-gestures-needed" is now gone from within about:config. I'm getting videos autoplaying within sites like YouTube, despite me setting both audio and video to not autoplay.
Is there anything I can do to ensure that nothing starts playing without me allowing it?

Firefox 78 sometimes fails to block autoplay, e.g. scrolling the front page of reddit.com or a subreddit will intermittently show videos playing.
This worked in 77. Some about:config entries I'd swear were set in 77 have vanished; I tried adding them manually, but the autoplay blocking is still hit and miss.
Also, not sure if Troubleshooting Information uploaded successfully or the page broke (see screenshot).

I'm using OpenSuSE Leap 15.2 , updated Firefox these days, and now when I click on the menu, it opens and shows up to the right, out of the screen (when maximized). Also when I hover over options close to the right edge of the screen, the bubbles show partly out of the screen, same as the main menu. I've tried Refresh, Safe Mode, downgrading to a previous version, but nothing helps now Mind the menu on the screenshot.
Any ideas?
best, Istvan
