Hello, I've followed Firefox's invitation to install and update the browser on my Mac. Unfortunately the new version is not compatible with OS 10 El Capitan, my operating system, so now I can't use Firefox at all. How I do get the old version back?

Dear Community, I love Firefox but here is how fonts now look like on my old MacBook Pro (v10.13.6). Why is this? How can I fix this? My Firefox version is up-to-date. As shown on the screenshots below, on Chrome fonts appear to be normal. Thanks so much for your guidance!

I have Firefox on an old MacBook which hasn't had its macOS updated for a couple of years, and a new Mac running up-to-date Monterey. In both, Firefox has just developed the same problems at the same time: pages won't load, and the program won't shut down normally -- I have to use force quit. Safari works fine and I've tried all the usual solutions, bar deleting and reloading the app. I don't want to do that yet since the problem is the same on two different computers and an old and a new macOS. Since Firefox has recently updated, has that caused the problem?

I recently updated Mozilla browser for Mac today (version 99.0.1, 64-Bit on April 13, 2022). And now I can not switch between my Gmail accounts that I am signed into (from the top right icon, switch accounts) all it does is load and bring me back to the default account I have set up. It is a bit frustrating since I have to manually log back in everytime and it was so seamless before.

I wanted to upgrade and update my Firefox to the latest version. Encountered some errors so I uninstalled the old version and reinstalled Firefox' latest version. Now all of a sudden all my Add-ons / Plugins / Extentions on the latest version of Firefox for Mac OS is gone...

Have been receiving security alerts for the past month or so. Now firefox is restricting my access to my printer due to a possible security problem. I have also seen an alert that a certificate for use expired last month. What can I do, or who can I talk to (cannot find any support phone number.

Microsoft Excel is no longer listed i Applications as download option. All files downloaded automatically are stored as Microsoft Word files, not just excel files. I can change individual files manually to .xlsx which is a nuisance, but this also happens with Zip files (7Zip) and I am at a loss as to how to change them when they are downloaded as a Word document.

This does not happen on a newer MacBook Pro, but I need it to work with the older version. The older Mac is MacBook Pro 9.2 with MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.7 Firefox is version 103.0

I am getting what seems to be random image or graphical corruption on some images. I first noticed this with a few favicons. Sometimes they would show corrupted, other times they would load properly. I also have now seen it on a webpage as shown in the attached image (percentage counter). The corruption seems to be of the same type, square with patterned lines of color. It seems to be some sort of rendering issue. The same page renders without corruption inside other browsers, so it is Firefox-specific. Any help much appreciated!

I bought a new system with latest OS Big Sur, I'm using Firefox v49.1 (required version) for my official purpose. So I installed this version in my Mac and it works smoothly, suddenly it quits and showing crash alert. I reinstalled again and again, but it's not worked. I fed up with this issue. Hi All - I have FF working well on a Windows PC and a Net Book and have newly installed it on a 2021 Mac Mini. It works fine but when I restart the Mac it has forgotten that I Sync'd FF previously and so has none of my bookmarks or preferences. I can re-sync and everything appears but why is it forgetting between times and what can I do to fix it? Thanks for any advice. Ian.

Trying to play video included in Amazon Prime subscription. I received a warning from Amazon about 2 weeks ago that After Dec 6 I would need the latest Firefox update. I updated. Now as shortly after video starts to lord, I get a message in a box that says I need to upgrade Firefox to play this video. I have checked the "about Firefox" tab and it says I am up to date. I am running 91.4.0esr and checkbox says I am up to date. ????

I was told to open Firefox Account Settings, and then "Privacy Settings" and then to dropdown "Custom Experience". I use a MAC, and I cannot find there things, is that the reason?

Simple. I want to change the background color from black to white. I hate the black background.

It will make me leave firefox and use a different browser.  Don't understand why this is not easily found in preferences.

I'm on a Mac desktop. Favorite Bookmarks have stopped displaying in View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbars (set either to Show All or Only Show on New Tab. I have verified the favorites are still there in Bookmarks > Bookmarks Toolbar, but when View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbars is opened it displays an empty bar.

Setting the clock! I moved permanently from New York to Hawaii. I have been unable to find a way to reset the clock in my MACmini to show correct time in Hawaii. It still thinks I live in New York!
