Dear Sir,

I have my firefox username and password. However, whenever I try to sign in nowadays, I am asked to enter a verification code that is sent to my email address within five minutes. The email does arrive, but never withing 5 minutes. I have tried it many times on different devices. It may be my email issue. However, I cannot change the email account unless I cannot log it. Since I cannot receive the verification code within 5 minutes, I am unable to change any of my personal details.

Please advise.

P.S. It was very difficult gettting to this support page. I was asked to log in and verify before continuing for some of the support pages. But like I mentioned, I am unable to receive the verification code within 5 minutes. So I am thankful for this page.

When I try to sign in on Morrisons On Line Shopping I am invited to add my user name and password, once done there is a pause then this appears:

No matter how often I try again, the same thing occurs. It also occurs in troubleshooting mode, and also if I remove all of my security add ons.

This has only occurred since Xmas, and does not occur on any other browser.

I would like a fix, please.

Firefox version 96 - I can no long go to Google Drive and have it zip files for me to download. I am getting an error saying I don't have 3rd parties cookies enabled. I have not changed a thing. The only thing that changed is this Firefox update.

I rolled back to version 95 and it was fine. I told Firefox to let me know when I need to update and I decide and then it proceeds to update itself (again).

Any reason why I am getting the cookie error? I checked all my allowances in Firefox settings and in my antivirus, even though I have not changed anything there. And why would it update again after I told it not to?

For years I have been using Firefox. If I clicked on a hyperlink in any of my programs, Outlook messages, websites etc, Firefox opened a new tab. That behaviour has suddenly stopped for websites including this one occasionally. It seems to still work for Outlook. Has Firefox changed its policy?

The advice on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1283295 is to edit browser.link.open_newwindow (3) 1:current tab; 2:new window; 3:new tab; But that is already set to 3.

What other settings might work? And why has this been changed?

Every time I enter a web address in the address bar, up pops two desktop options (even though I do not have my extra monitor connected any longer). I have to manually click on the desktop I want. Only then can I complete typing in the address. This is driving me crazy. I have turned off all 'suggestions' settings that I can possibly think of. I can find no way to turn this off. This never happened in any previous version of Firefox.

I've got a persistent issue where Firefox immediately crashes when I open it initially.

Starting it again after this crash works totally fine, though if I close out and re-open a few times it will crash consistently (after every 3-5th-ish open).

It has been happening for the last year or so, and despite clean installs of the browser as well as other diagnostics it won't go away. It's incredibly annoying :(

Hoping the Firefox community can give me a hand and help solve this.

I have Firefox on my laptop (Win10 Pro) and on my Android phone; just bought a new office computer that is running Win11. My laptop has a long list of bookmarks and a dozen or more open tabs. I would like to get this same setup on the new computer. I thought I followed directions but since it does not work I guess I have missed something important.

Go to the menu in upper right, then the > next to my account, which brings up Manage Account, Syncing, several other items, then a list of tabs on my phone, another list of tabs on my laptop, and a third list of tabs on an old computer that no longer exists. It has been syncing for 2-3 hours without evident progress. I would like to delete the dead computer to avoid confusion but see no way to do it. Mainly I want to sync with the laptop or, failing that, import the bookmarks from it.

I also copied the FF profile from the old computer into the new one. The files and directory structures are identical but FF cannot read the profile. I do not know what to do about any of this.

Hello, each time i open firefox for all www before i had all logins and passwords saved , when i close and open firefox again i must log in to all www,

Before updating to Firefox 96, I could close tabs no matter how squished they were. Now I cannot. Someone with a similar problem at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1194322 was able to find help, but I'm not meeting with any success implementing their chosen fix. Is there a way to keep the close tab button active with this many tabs anymore, or is that out?

I am on MacOS X with the latest firefox. I refreshed it and disabled AV and all plugins, it still crashed.

There are also no logs of the crashes I can find.

What should I do to enable them, or diagnose further?

I have Firefox on the default update setting, and I have 3 of the most popular add-ons installed.

Why does it seem Firefox (Mozilla) is changing my home page to the MSN home page "https://www.msn.com/?pc=ACTE" about every 2-3 days. I have manually changed it back to the Firefox homepage 3 times now. I believe this may of started with the latest update?

Is Mozilla selling their soul again? - likely Or do I have a virus or is it an add-on - "unlikely"

i just noticed the other day that everything is now in dark mode youtube/google etc.. i want to keep my theme with a dark upper portion but want the screen to be white again.the only temporary fix is to chage the them to all white. this is anoying me is there a way to get this forced dark screen back to what it was or to revert to a previous version of firefox? any help would be great! i did several searches to no avail. thank you!

So I make games and one thing that bugs me a lot is when i make a game controlled by WASD, when i try to move, it opens up the Find menu. Is there a simple fix that I can do to stop this?

Where can I get Firefox 52.9.0? There was a list of old versions here but now I can't find it. I found https://download2.portableapps.com/portableapps/FirefoxPortableLegacy52/FirefoxPortableLegacy52_52.9.0_English.paf.exe I really did not want the portable version but avast considers it a threat so it may not be genuine.

I have a custom theme on Firefox called Charlies Red. Up until two days ago, Firefox would always consider it to be in light mode (which I prefer) whenever I'd use it. Now, however, it's in dark mode, and the only way I can return to light mode is to give up my custom theme and instead choose Light as a theme, which I don't like as much as Charlies Red.

Is there a way to force light mode on regardless of which theme I use? One source said I could go to about:config and create a ui.systemUsesDarkTheme number, setting it to 0, but I tried it to no avail and so deleted the number.

This is my first post here, hopefully one of the only ones I'll make too. But know that this issue warranted an account creation. So here's the issue/question:

Why did Firefox automatically switch my theme over to a forest green theme with a pop up window that gave my maybe 6-8 other color options or let me stay with my old one? (today on 1/15/2022). Is this native Firefox behavior or do I have to hunt a plugin/extension down? If it's Firefox then how to I turn that shit off FOREVER. No matter what's causing it it's incredibly intrusive and the lack of exit button is a low move from whoever did the ui/ux design. Any info would be appreciated. Win10 pro, Firefox 96.0.1 (64-bit) Darkreader, colorzilla, ublock origin, lastpass, decentraleyes, clearurls, and keepa installed. Can share more if needed

Despite all the topics on this matter, my Firefox still does not play netflix and hulu. Do I have to go to a chromium browser? I prefer Firefox, but not enough to stay if I cannot stream on it.
