I have attempted to watch DRM using content that I have the rights to via subscription as well as by purchase. When I attempt to stream movies I OWN via Vudu or Youtube, it tells me that DRM features are not active when they very much are. I checked my settings and DRM content is enabled. I have also run into the same issue with Netflix as well. I cleared out my browser cache, which did not help. I disabled and re-enabed the DRM options. This did not help either. I restarted my computer multiple times and this did not help either.

Firefox says it is installing the features needed to watch the content but it never does, or rather, it doesn't show any progress. I have left my computer and browser running overnight and not had success.

I have latest version of Firefox have had no problems before.

I use netzero .net for email and have for years with no problems. Now everytime I try to access netzero for e-mails I get Bad Request Your Browser sent a request that this could not understand. Size of a request Header exceeds server limit.

Block autoplay not working on 112.0.2. I've tried going into about:config and changing settings. Doesn't help. Also under "Settings \ Permissions \ Autoplay" shows default for all websites as "Block Audio and Video" and under Websites "About:Welcome" shows as "Allow audio and video." I've changed the About:Welcome to block audio and video. I've also tried clicking the Remove All Websites button to delete the exception. Neither works. I save changes, exit Firefox, and restart. Same settings as before, and autoplay still starts.

Firefox 112.0 running on Windows 10 64-bit laptop with a small (pixel geometry) display screen has unnecessarily large padding (white space) around each bookmark as I navigate bookmarks on the bookmark bar.

I believe this was a change instituted around version 89 (in a nutshell, I could see more - twice as many? - bookmarks listed within a bookmark folder with version 88/before. The vertical whitespace between bookmarks within a folder is excessive and makes it much more necessary to scroll within a (long) list of bookmarks in a folder when looking for one.

There was a procedure posted in the discussion below on how to set and enable "compact density".

The procedure below was attempted - browser.compactmode.show enabled, browser restarted, however, I cannot fin "Customize Toolbar" and "compact".

"go to - about:config search - "browser.compactmode.show" - change to TRUE , then close that window go to - Customize Toolbar at the bottom of that page, there a box called Density. Click that, you'll see "compact (not supported)" Apparently, it IS supported because I chose that. (it looked like it ignored my choice) After I closed Customize Toolbar, the bookmarks were compact spaced again. Exactly how I need them."

Is this fixable/solvable?

A month ago I started to have problem with twitch. After 5minutes or 2 hours- random times or random tabs, if I have opened more than 1, which is always the case. Some tabs or all, again it's random will give twitch 2000 error and refresh, closing tab,etc nothing will work, except closing WHOLE browser, not just tabs and this is not guaranteed that it will work.

I'm losing my mind with closing whole browser-windows-tabs on different monitors and then re-opening all of that again when I get 2000 error and I always do get it.

Did like 50 re-installs, it's always the same. I tried to go back to older version, but Firefox always want to create new profile saying I have old version installed and I DO NOT want that, I want everything as it is right customized,etc right now.

I have been using Firefox for a long time certainly all this century, I regret to say that you have done something to the system such that I am unable to get into online banking and on some sites I get a message something to do with a frame whatever that is. I regret to say that i have been forced to make Edge my default browser When you have cured the problem please advise and I will revert to making Firefox my default. Many thanks Graham Blackburn

Hi. My laptop´s Windows 10 "died" suddenly due to a corporate system update that corrupted Windows start and some other sectors and the SDD had to be reformatted and Win reinstalled from scratch. I have my Firefox account and I can see the session of the old installation still opened (from 6 days ago when the problem happened). However it was impossible for me to backup anything because this episode happened suddenly. Is there any way to recover the 3 windows I had opened in Firefox at the time of the "death" of Windows from the session I still see opened? Thanks, Claudio

When I close Firefox after the last update (current installed version: 112.0 x64 Windows 10), Firefox creates almost 200 processes (in the latest case 177), each using from 17 MB to 65 MB RAM (except one that is using over 200 MB - I guess the main one) using 100% CPU for about half a minute, and in that my PC is unusable - everything hangs. It takes a bit more time to close all of them.

Any ideas what could be wrong and how to fix it?

I used to be able to install an extension, and than see it automatically pin itself on my toolbar now I have to select the add ons and theme icon on toolbar and manually pin each extension I install one by one. I do not want to have to keep doing this. Will someone please tell me what is going on and how to revert this back to how it originally was?

in firefox windows: I don't know the technical terms for this, so don't assume I'm using "reload" correctly - or anything else. every time i switch back and forth between tabs, the tab i return to suddenly goes blank and reloads. It can take 1-15 seconds every time I switch tabs, but sometimes I can switch back and the tab is the same as I left it without blinking out and into existence. On certain sites, this makes whatever I was reading get lost in the feed, but it's always distracting and frustrating. I work fast between lots and lots of tabs and this eats a lot of time and makes me lose focus, and adds massive friction to my workflow. How do i make it keep tabs loaded and looking as they did when i switched out of them, instead of pretending I just typed in the url and loading that from scratch every time? I'm not the best with technical terms if anybody knows this can you explain it like I'm five please? New level fire fox 111.0... can not order groceries or check products from grocery store ' MEIJER'.. website is meijer. com.. go to there website and these are examples but could be any product. search for ' milk ' ... milk displays ok, but then you check next item like ' eggs ' goes to a white screen and stays. need to close down fire fox and start over... other Browsers like chrome or edge has no problems . I have always used fire fox for everything and has worked fine. If I go to walmart and check there items.. that website has no problems on firefox.

I signed in to Firefox, not even knowing that I wasn't for the past year+ and I lost all my saved logins. There is no other profile saved that has them. How do I recover the old saved logins?

My browser was always in English and now all of a sudden it is in Spanish. Tell me how your browser can be in one language one day and then in another language the next day? I cannot read Spanish so I have no idea how to change it back to English.

If I have to go more than 2 steps into a web site, example accessing my propane account, Firefox hangs up and I need to use a different browser to access my account. This happened with ChatGPT, when I got to the log in page Firefox hung up, I used the CCleaner browser to get into the website. I'm guessing I have something setup in the security settings of Firefox that's blocking me.
