I thought the webcam was not working but in another browser like Google Chrome Internet Explorer, the webcam works in all other browsers.

I cannot for the life of me figure this out. Whenever I load a website that needs location (for example, Google Maps or my province's lottery) and enable location permissions, the websites come back saying they cannot find my location.

I have refreshed Firefox, disabled all Enhanced Tracking Protection, disabled all extensions, and have even ran Firefox in Troubleshoot mode - all to no avail. Is there any way this can be fixed? These websites all work on Chrome and Edge and work on my Firefox for iPhone.

I used to have the camera and microphone on video conversation using the instant messenger on Firefox browser, but now it says "camera and microphone not supported by browser". So I tried to fix it thru setting, privacy & security, accessibility - camera & microphone, but no joy. Can somebody plese show me how to fix it. thanks.

Don't know how to describe the issue. I leave the computer on all night. In the morning, when I move the mouse to activate the screen, there is a large, 3-panel image with links to various websites. Today's panels are titled "Daily Wonder," "Hats Off to the Class of '25," and "Markets." A click on any of these panels takes me to a website. No idea how these panels are produced or by whom. If I try to take a screenshot, the images disappear and my normal home screen is shown. I do not recognize anything in the Task Manager that might explain this. Not sure if this is a Windows issue or a Firefox issue. Perhaps another user can ask me questions that will lead to more information.

After downloading the latest OS on my IMac, I can no longer use the microphone on Chat GPT to dictate anything. I keep getting red "enable microphone" messages. In my Firefox settings, the microphone is already "allowed" for Chat GPT. I would like to be able to dictate, rather than type, like I was able to before. Thank you.

I tried logging into my account on a website. I decided to click on the passkey option to log in. Firefox had ask to access my passkeys and I mistakenly declined. But the pop-up doesn't happen again. It goes straight to "authentication failed" without trying to ask me again to access the passkeys. I don't see any setting for this in the settings page.

How do I change the permission to let Firefox access my passkeys? Or how do I make Firefox and Windows ask for my permission again?u I'd like to not have to reinstall Firefox if I could.

I am unable to search via microphone use, when utilizing Firefox with the Goggle searchbar. There is no option to activate the microphone such as there is when using Windows and the Goggle searchbar. Tried to find this in settings etc...

Looking for a way to configure the "Share the screen" permission present in permissions for individual sites via GPO. I am aware of this doc but I can't find anything for setting this permission. Specifically, to block it for all sites with an explicit allow list.

The "Preferences" option won't suffice as permissions are stored in permissions.sqllite and are not part of the about:config preferences. The "Permissions" grouping lacks... the majority of the possible site permissions as well.

Firefox show's my location when 'Googling'

In 'about:config' I have my geo set to disable, I tried it enabled and turning it back, also in 'Settings' Location shows empty and I can not get it to see Google nor can I manually insert it.

Any idea what is going on please??
