When I try to sign in to Chase banking, it tells me to upgrade my browser, which I have already done. Had to use Edge to login successfully. Using Windows 11 Pro with current Firefox browser.

Does anyone out there know of a replacement for the Tab Groups replacement app? I have not updated Firefox past the v.55 only because I don't think it would work w/ any newer versions. I have found this to be the very best app I have ever used as I need to do a lot of research online and need something that will show all the windows and tabs on one page so I can easily go back and forth to a particular group quickly. Without this, I would have to spend hours finding the info and would only have one window in which to work. Ideally, a replacement would be able to use all the window/tab info I now have. Is there some way I could use this in some sort of legacy mode? I have several legacy apps, but can't readily recall how to do so. I think I tried this w/ the Tab Groups app and it didn't work, but am not certain. Suggestions much appreciated! Thanks, Wolfgang

Ok, I've resolved this in the past, several version of Firefox ago, under windows. Firefox crashes silently, open it again and no tabs are restored. Open firefox again and look in recently closed windows and the one with my tabs is not there, only little utility windows that are popped up when I log in at the coffee shop, so my recently closed windows are overwritten with windows with no tabs.

So I go to my profile sessionstore-backups folder and copy it to the desktop. I have 6 files, previous.jsonlz4, recovery.baklz4, and recovery.jsonlz4 at around 8 megs in size. I copied each to the folder one level up and renamed them sessionstore.jsonlz4, and each time restarted firefox. All that opens is a blank tabbed firefox window.

There was never an existing sessionstore.jsonlz4 file anywhere I could find, even with firefox closed, this file never appears anywhere I could find it. Searching files with Windows was also unsuccessful.

I feel like I have captured the files with my tabs, based on the date modified, several were from before the crash. Why can't I find a working tutorial on how to restore my tabs? Nothing I've found on the support site works though I follow the directions exactly.

I recently installed firefox on a new computer and it will not access the internet. Any access request gets the message "Hmmm. We're having trouble finding that site." We cannot connect to the server.... It says to check that fiefox has permission to access the web, but I do not know how to do that. How can I get Firefox to access the web? I do not want to have to use different browser, but will switch unless this is resolved.

like a dick i tried to sort it out myself and i no nothing aboout computers i deleted loads of stuff thinking its old i dont need it from downloads...i was having truble with vids not playing just the spin thing or it does start but slow or judery ... now mozilla cant update ...as theres nothing there

whenever i close a single open tab, firefox closes and i have to reopen it to my home page. In the past i could actually revert back to my home page after closing tabs. And then can only close down firefox by hitting the top right X. Unfortunately i have forgotten what i did last time, so any help would be appreciated Ta Doug G

Warun habe ich Version 115 und auf einem anderen PC und Laptop die Version 128. Alle behaupten ich hätte die neueste Version.Hauptproblem ist, daß seit dem 1.8.2024, 17.16 Uhr auf dem PC mit der Version 115 die Symbolleiste und alle Lesezeichen verschwunden sind. After an update the new Firefox does not show the line above the browser Firefox, I used to have items like clear cookies or check if Firefox is up to date but such lines do not show in this past August 7, 2024 update, how do I bring them back
