I am running Firefox 151.0.4 on a Win 11 (25H2) AMD Ryzen 5, 32 GB ram. Every time I close Firefox, it generates a crash report. That takes several minutes during which I can't start a new Firefox window. The crash report says the report was submitted successfully but when I look in about:crashes the reports shows they need to be submitted.

I ran in troubleshoot mode and disabled all plugins and did not see any extensions listed. I restarted and it still crashes. Firefox seems to run fine. But the crashes when it closes are annoying and disruptive.

I’m currently facing a very frustrating issue with Firefox. I have been using Firefox for many years, and it is my favorite and most comfortable web browser for my day-to-day work. I rely on it heavily as all my bookmarks and other important details are saved there.

However, over the past few weeks, Firefox has been crashing more than 10 times a day. I have already tried all the troubleshooting steps available in the forums and through AI support, but none of them have resolved the issue. I also tried installing and using the Firefox Beta version, but the problem still persists.

In our environment, other users and devices are not experiencing this issue, so it does not appear to be related to internal firewall or antivirus restrictions.

Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue? I am attaching the error screen that appears after the crash along with the crash report for you

Issue started a few month ago, tabs crashing 10+ times each day.

All my crash reports says "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ" but i dont know what is causing it, happens on multiple different pages

have many more crash reports, but dont know if that would help

mozilla keeps crashing almost on every website (says the tab has crashed). I checked, mozila is up to date, all extensions removed, no viruses or spyware, and it is crashing in troubleshoot mode as well.

Also few times a day says "your device ran in to a problem and needs to restart). Please advise what to do? Here is a submitted crash reports:

Firefox not responding. I have tried everything on the Help pages. I have tried reset of everything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch. Still: when I open it: Firefox does not respond. And everything else also is very slow then. In Windows joblist I can see Firefox with 7-15 threads. One of them "not responding". I have no problems with Chrome nor Edge - W11, 16GB Ram

Hey, I've been experiencing my YouTube and Twitch tabs crashing almost every 20-40 minutes and it's been kind of annoying.

Does anyone know if the crashes are because of my drivers or Windows not being up to date? Never had this issue with Opera before.

I have Windows 11 and just installed the latest Firefox update (145). But every time I try to open a site, the page crashes. I seem to be able to work in troubleshooting mode, but otherwise I'm dead in the water.

Is there any way to roll back to version 144?

My browser started crashing after the latest update, and it still crashes even in Safe Mode. It doesn’t close immediately upon opening; instead, it shuts down suddenly after about one minute or longer. This issue never occurred before and only started appearing after the recent update. hello Ive been dealing with this constant battle of Firefox working for about a week and then just completely stops randomly. This problem never occurred when i was on windows 10 but ever since i installed windows 11 this has started to happen. If i turn on my desktop and Firefox doesn't work i have to either refresh Firefox through the uninstaller or boot into safe mode and then boot into regular and it will work for a couple days and then stop again its a full on cycle and in tired of dealing with this mess just to keep using your guys browser. I don't want to leave Firefox but it doesn't really leave me a choice unless you guys can help me solve this problem.

Since downloading the New upgrade today I cannot access anything! TAb crashes everytime. Wish I could go back as have used firefox for years and will now have to find alternative. Have had use the dreaded chrome to post this!

Hello, I’ve been increasingly frustrated over the past few weeks with your browser, which I prefer over all the others, because it keeps crashing constantly. I’ve tried several small fixes suggested by IT professionals, such as clearing the cache, running an antivirus scan, and deleting my browsing history, but the issue persists with no improvement. At this point, my last option seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling the application, but I’m concerned about losing my bookmarks. Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue? M. Hello. I had been experiencing a lot of freezes, hang ups, and disconnectivity with crash messages asking me to either restart Firefox, or quit firefox ! I finally just recently downloaded again from your website and in order to function it defaulted to Safe Mode. How do I correct this ? Note: The website is currently operational but not at 100% ! When in Settings nothing can be done and it advises that it's because it's in Safe Mode ! How do I correct this ?

Hello, Whenever I open Firefox, it crashes repeatedly. This has been going on for at least a couple of weeks, whether it's right when I open it or hours later when I'm in the middle of something. I've disabled extensions, ran it in troubleshoot, and done the steps advised to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this has rendered Firefox unusable. Attached is a screenshot of the digits of the crash reports, as well as the link for the one from today.

I face an issue with the browser crashing when in google meeting (meet.google.com). The problem persist in a new profile created with 'firefox.exe -P' and also in the troubleshooting mode. The crash is triggered when I am in the google meeting (with allowed microphone) and I manipulate with windows of the browser - across multiple monitors (switching tabs, moving tabs between windows, closing firefox windows, opening them, "dropping" the tabs onto another applications - chrome, spotify - which opens a new firefox window). Sometime the crash happened once I closed the google meeting tab. Unfortunately it happens "randomly" and I was not able to come with a specific series of steps to reproduce the crash. But it happens always when I am in the meeting and play with the windows for a while.

The crash: Firefox freezes for a few seconds (~3s) and then closes itself - all windows. %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\pending contains a new .dmp file, but it has 0 bytes and no .extra file is created, hence it cannot be submitted via about:crashes. The crash reporter is not opened when firefox crashes. The attached troubleshooting information are from the new clear profile where the crash happens as well.

Getting "Mozilla Firefox Crash Reporter" problem message when attempting to print files (Docs & Sheets) from Google Cloud. Errors messages have appeared on Lenova Thinkpad laptop in Firefox since mid Dec update. Can print existing files located on desktop, just not from cloud. Both HP and Epson Printers test fine, can print 'test pages'. Tried downloading files from cloud to pc....opening downloads, got same Firefox problem message and crashed. Have used same firefox browser and same printers for several years. Rebooted several times, same error. Can print, 'printer test pages'. Do I have a switch turned off/on or is this a browser problem. Any assistance would be appreciated.
