Since the last update, the firefox taskbar icon is showing a strange shopping card icon? How can I remove it? I am not shopping with Firefox, I am using it as my web browser.

Background: Computer had unexplained shutdowns. Dell tech replaced motherboard and block. Now seems to be working OK.

Problem: I had a small icon on the Navigation Toolbar, not more than an outline. It would delete cookies from a site (generally when I had reached some undefined limit I could then close and return to that website.) This icon may or may not have been a “padlock”. It erased the cookies only from the “active” site. It did not “touch” the logins. I have not been able to recreated this icon or anything that works the same way. In the process of trying to recreate that icon, I apparently have changed how the Firefox Bookmarks Bar works. I used to have 2 rows of Bookmarks Tabs. Each has between 1 and (as many as) 10 Bookmarks. When I start Firefox, all the Bookmarks are fine, but when I select a Bookmark and it opens, all the other Bookmarks disappear. There are only 2 ways to get the Bookmarks back: (1) Close Firefox; (2) Click the left arrow on the Navigation Toolbar (Note: This can be used to “cycle” back and back if any other searching has been done.)

What I want:

    1.)	I want the Bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar to remain and I browse.
    2.)	I would like, if possible, to have an icon that quickly clears cookies in the active site that were added in the active session.

some STUPID profile pop up occurred .... please choose .... I did than I LOST ALL of my browsing history and bookmarks !!!!! How do I recover ????????????????

I despise ai in every use and way with a passion. Now, it gets spammed everywhere on this browser, with no apparent way to disable and/or remove that filth. I don't want to see it, ever! Why is it even on by default??? I don't want "chatbots", "Ai assistants" or any of that shit at all.

Firefox has been my browser of choice for well over 20 years. I have a game I play every day (from FaceBook) just this week when I try to go to it on my laptop - it says your browser does not support WebGL. it has always opened using Firefox - this is a new error message. and the computer is only 5 months old and has Windows 11 on it. I do not want to switch to Google or Edge.

Like I said - opening the app worked every day up until about a week ago. What gives?

Hi. I have used Firefox for years and had a well-organized set of bookmarks (over 100!) and al my associated passwords saved. I was using them just fine last week but when I launched my computer this week, all were gone. I noticed that a new version of Firefox was installed on the 14th and when I launched on the 15th, nothing was there. Instead, I got the yellow banded message that many users saw saying that bookmarks may not be available. I followed the instructions and tried following several methods to recover my bookmarks but nothing has worked. Can I revert back to a version where my bookmarks exist? This is confusing and aggravating beyond words because all these methods seem to offer slightly different approaches. In addition, the only backup folder I can locate is dated Oct 15th, AFTER the update that wiped out all my bookmarks.

Hello. I had been experiencing a lot of freezes, hang ups, and disconnectivity with crash messages asking me to either restart Firefox, or quit firefox ! I finally just recently downloaded again from your website and in order to function it defaulted to Safe Mode. How do I correct this ? Note: The website is currently operational but not at 100% ! When in Settings nothing can be done and it advises that it's because it's in Safe Mode ! How do I correct this ?

i can't use the microphone in the AI chatbox. i have been to several sett tings in different places and none have the option to allow it'. I clicked on every gear icon and setting link (and AI chat link) i could find in the firefox browser
