Hello. My tablet, has limited memory, due to its age. I am now finding that one of the main reasons why it is so slow is because whenever I open firefox, it opens multiple firefox processes which drain the memory and in some cases crashes the system. I have followed all the advice given to reduce these multiple processes, however nothing seems to work and at least 6-8 firefox processes open each time I open it. I have unchecked the recommended performance settings as well as hardware acceleration boxes. However, I cannot find where to set the content process limit to 1. Please tell me how to do this and if there anything else I can try to stop it opening multiple processes or I may be forced to ditch Firefox altogether for an alternate such as Bing, Chrome or DuckDuckGo. i looked up lots questions and solution. nothings seems to work. i did all Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems. cleared cache, restarted firefox, refreshed. everything I could do. nothing works.

could you tell me what else I can try?

I was having problems with the firefox browser. This has never happened. I always use firefox and the company said that firefox was compatible to there sight but I could not access.

Hi, I have an old PC with Win7 and Firefox 115.30.0esr (64-bit) (latest version from 11 november 25) and this website cultuursmakers.be has problems aka differences with Firefox 141.0.3 (of my Android tablet) and other browsers such as Chrome. The green heading block overlaps and hide the upper part of the content block. For example, if you select inloggen (log in), then you see that the user name (naam) is not visible and only the box for the password is shown. Work around: Right click on the header and select Inspect. In the Inspector (html column) select the header tag. In the Inspector (css column) uncheck in the '.header.--fixed' selector the line 'position: fixed;' Now the content block shifts down and all content is visible. Can you verify / fix that? Firstly, I have a brain injury. I am easily overwhelmed by information and am slow to understand - especially anything to do with I.T.

Recently, I began successfully accessing the internet / Firefox via my Wifi Repeater. As of two or three days ago. I keep being asked to "log in to access the Internet", but even after I do it (successfully, as far as my repeater is concerned) I'm no further forward; I keep being asked to log in.

Thanks to my repeater I have a strong signal when in my garden office. But after a month, Firefox has suddenly stopped allowing me to use it. I am back at Square 1, before I purchased the thing.

I need need to work from my office. Please help resume my Repeater's access.

I try to set up Firefox Sync on Firefox on a VM on Fedora. I enter my e-mail and password. Then I get the message (after retrying): "Email resent. Add accounts@firefox.com to your contacts to ensure a smooth delivery." However, I do not get the email with the confirmation code.

My email address has this format j@xxxxx.org

I'm unable to log in to Telephone Service Co. - TSC Wapakoneta, Ohio website using Firefox, but Internet Explorer logs in OK. TSC Customer Service indicated problem was in Firefox, but Firefox seems to work OK on other sites. TSC suggested I clear cache & cookies. Is this a good idea? If so, how do I do that?

I have not been able to connect to www.paperbackswap.com for 2 days using Firefox. I get this message - The page isn’t redirecting properly-An error occurred during a connection to www.paperbackswap.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. This is a persistent problem happening every few days. I have sent messages before to PBS and Firefox with no response. I have cleared cookies and added PBS to Firefox as a site to always accept cookies. I can access the site using Chrome but I would prefer Firefox. Is there anything that can be done?

Prior to getting some desktop PC upgrades that required a new install of Windows 11 and a new install of Firefox, I backed up my entire PC (yea!).

Now that I have re-installed Firefox, I see that I have none of my saved bookmarks and so I want to restore the Firefox profile - all of it or at least the bookmarks.

I have tried following the Firefox instructions for this, but am apparently not doing it right.

I can't seem to locate the bookmarks file, for starters, in my backed up files. I find the profile but I don't find anything like places.sqlite.

Can someone help me so that I am locating the right (and complete) files, copying them correctly, and then switching to the new/old profile correctly?

I have a Plesk (apache) server that is behind HAProxy. When I connect securely to a web site through HAProxy using Firefox, I get long delays. If I use Safari or Chrome, the pages come right up without any delay.

If I connect to the Plesk server directly without HAProxy in the middle, there are no delays.

I do not know what would cause these delays that don't occur with other browsers.

I'm on a Mac: 115.0.2 (64-bit)
