This happened too much, like 6 times when using firefox in this month. I dont want to shut the program because I got unsaved notes in it. I was listening to music and it just began to play it non stop. and it dont respond.

I try to restart network or suspend the process nothing works. If I could make firefox reopen to it's original state+ cookies; no site reloaded and get back my incogico it would be much appreaciated.

I use the est edition of firefox 115.15.0 64bit and after the last update i can't change resolution to any youtube video. Why is that happening and how i can fix it?

My home page on Firefox is https://www.google.com/ which brings up a Google search box I enter something to search and invariably I get the following message (not always, but most of the time):

"Firefox Can’t Open This Page To protect your security, www.google.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window."

I am advised that: "Website will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it"

I click "Learn more" and find: "To visit a site that displays this error message, you can right-click the link and select Open Link in New Tab or Open Link in New Window"

What is "the link" I am supposed to right-click?

All I see is the "Learn More" link, which takes me to the aforementioned statement, whether I right-click it or left-click it..

Then I give up on Firefox and switch to the Google Chrome browser. I prefer to use Firefox, but if this is what happens each time, I will switch to Google Chrome as my default browser. Goodbye Firefox

What in the addon translator program could or would cause an upset in the webpage layout when the translator is active?

One forum that I am a member of which is not English requires my using a translator, up until now I've not made the use of an outside translator in that forum. Now that I'm using Firefox & there is an internal translator supplied I'm making use of it & said translator is reconfiguring the website layout. Disable the translator & the webapge returns to its normal width display, apply the translator & the webpage items are being *squeezed* from the right to left. Any ideas as to what would cause this?

I had to reset windows 11, all my files were kept ,including the history in firefox but the bookmarks of 10 years of work were deleted. I tried to restore it but there is no old version in my computer after the reset. iI am vey sad. please contact me in [email address] for help thank you

When I open a website in Firefox, the favicon (site icon) does not appear correctly. Instead, I only see letters or text characters where the favicon should be. This problem occurs on various websites. I've tried clearing the cache, checking the favicon settings in about:config, disabling all extensions, and creating a new Firefox profile, but the problem still persists. In another browser I tried to open the same website, the favicon was displayed normally.

Hello. I switched over to Firefox today, and I'm trying to change the setting so I can see all my tabs without having to press the arrow key to see them all, is there a way to do so?

I run the latest version of Firefox.

Lately it refuses to open on first attempt - be it from a start menu link or double-clicking the shortcut on my desktop or trying to open a html file directly.

It's annoying and i'd like to fix it.

I've done all the usual stuff like clearing the cache.

What's happened to the + sign to add a new tab? I've customized Firefox to have tabs below the address bar (as they should be) but have just noticed that, once the window is full of tabs, the + to add another tab has disappeared. Is this because of my customization or has Firefox removed this function?

I am using Firefox v128.2 esr 64bit on big sur 11.7.10..

In firefox there is always this white line on top of the screen when fullscreening a yt video... (but also partial bars in other situations-randomly) (temp workaround : cmd+up arrow . But, whenever you pause or press something it reappears.

Can we please implement a more elegant solution?

I want to disable the Tab hover preview and I follow the instructions per Mozilla Support, which are:

Enter about:config in the address bar and set browser. tabs. hoverPreview. enabled = false.

When I enter about.config and search for "set browser. tabs. hoverPreview. enabled = false" it comes up as false. And there doesn't seem to be a need or way to save that setting, already set to false. But it still has the hover preview.

How do I get rid of the preview mode?
