I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

After a mistaken forced restart (inadvertent pressure on the shutdown/start key), one of the 3 windows I had open is invisible. It shows in the 'Windows" menu as one of 3 but when I select it - nothing. It does not show as a recently closed window in History. I have restarted Firefox multiple times, including deleting the xulstore.json file then restarting (a fix from another similar thread).

How can I restore this inaccessible window?

I cleared my cache and cookies, had to restart my pc - macbook pro. After opening Firefox, I was signed out. I had to ask for password reset and once signed in, it looks like all my bookmarks are gone!

How do I recover them pls? I did not saved them anywhere or made a copy of those.

Is there some way to hide all the menus at the top like F11 does, but still keep the total size of the window unchanged? I would like to look at webpage in "read mode" on for example the left half of my screen.

Quickbooks Online will not bring up the sign in page on Firefox. Chrome works fine on the same comp and network. When trying to sign in from Firefox it goes to a blank page with four spinning blue balls, no further.

Firefox version 111.01 (64bit). I use a desktop PC and WIN 10. Since the recent update, I am unable to open Yahoo Mail consistently. I had trouble this morning and finally it opened. I closed it and tried to open it again but it wouldn't open. THIS IS THE ERROR MESSAGE:

"The page isn’t redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

This is a SERIOUS PROBLEM for me. I must be able to access my email. Please repair.

I have note as have MANY others that bookmarks do not hold their place and randomly revert to the top of the list when the list is reacquired.

There have now been several updates to Firefox without a fix to this problem that requires immediate attention.

WHY hasn't this been addressed when many have complained about it?

I've logged in on a brand new installation of macOS (Ventura), but it does not sync my logins, passwords, etc. The settings for the sync are also enabled and it works fine on Windows and Linux. Also tried rebooting, but no luck so far.

Hi, I can't play some videos in YouTube and other platforms like Crunchyrroll, Twitter or Vimeo, I've already cleaned the cache and deactivated all the plugins and there is no difference.

TL;DR: I ended up with 2FA disabled and recovery key enabled

I'm currently testing Firefox Account features such bookmark syncing and its login security (not password storage/sync). Unfortunately I'm having big trouble authenticating myself to the service right now.

I have 2 testing accounts with the following configuration :

1. I've setup 2FA authentication.
2. I did not set a secondary email.
3. I did not set an account recovery key.

Here are some of the tests I'm doing :

1. I start by doing several login/logout to check if 2FA is working as expected.
2. Then I add a secondary email then make it primary then remove the previous primary email.
3. Then again login/logout several times to check if 2FA is working as expected.

At some point I'm unable to login after some iterations of step 3) above.

1. At first I get an error saying my 2FA code is incorrect. But it allows me to login successfully using one of my 2FA backup.
2. Then again I logout/login several times to check if 2FA is working as it should be.
3. Then at some point I get the same error again saying my 2FA code is incorrect. Trying several unused 2FA backup fails with error saying they're also incorrect.
4. Then it finally says that I've tried too many time and suggests I should retry 15mins later.
5. When I try to login after some time it then ask me for an authorization code sent to my email. But then it says every authorization code I try is also incorrect.
6. I managed to disable 2FA from on one of the account I was still logged in Firefox. But when trying to login on another Firefox profile then I get the same error saying I tried too many times.

Just for clarification - Please note that I may have use one or two 2FA codes instead of authorization keys when it asked me so. But I did not mistyped any 2FA or auth code I've tried.

And after several hours of giving up on it - the problem suddenly vanished and I could login/logout fine. As a precaution I add a recovery key and decided to disable 2FA because I can be sure it will work as is should.

Maybe I get locked but I dont know what really happened. I believe I did not a lot of login abuse though. I just feel like it's a big issue for my case because I could not rely on the 2FA backup and authorization keys. The error didn't help either because it likely says I've been locked. Whereas having one or two mistyped codes or using "several correct 2FA backup and auth keys" which were wrongly considered incorrect - should not be treated as a login abuse or brute force.

From now on I will likely disable 2FA if using this service. I understand these tests are not things you do on everyday use but I can't imagine how bad it would feel if I have sync sensitive data such as passwords and have to wait hours to unlock access to my account (even if not to access those data).

I would be really helpful if the Multi-Account Container differentiate the "always open in" feature based on the URL, and not just the host, which is what I'm guessing is the case.

For example, I'd like to have two different containers:

• example.org/foo # Container 1
• example.org/bar # Container 2

The use case is for localhost in development.

IT Glue has a button to copy details to clipboard and when I do a paste I get [object promise]

Hello, as of this morning, none of the bookmarks I save on my android phone are syncing across to my PC. When I open my PC, I can see that sync is still working (as all open tabs on my phone are showing as open on the Tabs Pickup screen). I can see that several pages I bookmarked yesterday have saved without issue, so this is something that's happened today. I have my PC set to clear history whenever I close the browser, but I've manually cleared all history and cache. I've also manually synced. I've gone into settings and checked that Bookmarks are still selected as one of the things to Sync.

I have gone to about: sync-log and this is what I see:

I am new to Firefox and I have no idea if I have setup everything correctly to secure my PC? As a Pensioner I am finding this extremely difficult and have no idea where to or how to get to any of the pages in Firefox to check if I have correctly secured my PC? Please would someone be kind to take control of my PC and check for me please? I would be most grateful for you kind assistance herewith.

Beginning with 111 when I start I get 'glxtest: failed to read data from glxtest, we may fall back to software rendering.' It works. I don't know that anything bad is happening.

Since the update a few days ago, Firefox is crashing and some sites such as Trust Pilot, do not work at all on Firefox. I know it is Firefox because it works fine with Chrome. Even Google Search does not work right.

What is the problem?

bold textI forgot my primary password on my PC and I have my account synced with my phone and i still have access to my passwords from my phone. can I reset the primary passsword on the PC then re- sync it with my phone to restore all the login information? or would it also get deleted from my phone?

Prior to recent updates, Firefox tabs that were opened from a link on a webpage would always open right next to the current tab. Which was fine and wonderful. Sadly, following recent version updates new tabs opened from links now tend to 'wonder' off to the far end of whatever other links may have also been opened previously from that site. The problem with this new behaviour is that such tabs quickly become lost amongst the various branches of the tree as other links are opened in 'child' tabs of links that have gone before. In short, this new behaviour results in a complete confusing mess, especially as the newly opened tabs may end up so far off to the right that it's difficult to find the way back to the page they were opened from! Please could you at least provide an option so the user can set new links to open right next to the current tab, as they used to do, rather than some no doubt logical but nonetheless baffling and impractical location some 6, 21 or even more tabs away from the current tab. This release changes the function of the 'wheel' on a mouse.

Instead of scrolling up & down a page, it now 'zooms' in and out.

Is this deliberate? Or, is it a bug?
