Hi all, I have an Adobe account and regularly use Adobe e-sign to send out contracts. I have recently updated Firefox and since then, when I try and send out PDFs for e-sign via Adobe Acrobat Reader, it doesn't get past the upload of the document stage. When I do it on the web browser, I can log in to my account fine, but as soon as I try and view the PDF I want to send for signature, it tells me that:

'The cookie functionality is disabled on your browser

Adobe Acrobat Sign has detected that the cookie functionality is disabled on your browser. To use Adobe Acrobat Sign, please enable cookies on your browser.

When cookies are enabled, click the 'Continue' button below to proceed to Adobe Acrobat Sign. Instructions for enabling cookies Safari for iOS Safari for Mac Chrome for phone or tablet Chrome for desktop OS Firefox

   Click on the Firefox menu.
   Select Preferences.
Select the Privacy & Security panel.
   Select Standard to enable cookies.
Set Accept third-party cookies to Always to enable third-party cookies.'

I have followed all the above but it doesn't make any difference. I have also turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection for that site and it worked once, but then stopped working again.

I'm on a MacBook Pro.

Thanks so much for any help!

Hi All - I have FF working well on a Windows PC and a Net Book and have newly installed it on a 2021 Mac Mini. It works fine but when I restart the Mac it has forgotten that I Sync'd FF previously and so has none of my bookmarks or preferences. I can re-sync and everything appears but why is it forgetting between times and what can I do to fix it? Thanks for any advice. Ian.

When I attempt to print a deposit slip or send an invoice from QuickBooks Online, the embedded pdf only shows if I set the pdf extension to always display in firefox. If I set it to always ask, I then pick show in firefox and it opens a new tab with the pdf. AND it downloads it to my download folder, neither of which I want to happen.

So, firstly Instagram stopped working on Firefox browser. I checked and installed latest update, cleared cookies and restarted, still not working. Now Squarespace is doing the same thing. I can't save anything on the site once I have made changes. I have followed Squaresapce trouble shooting with cache etc but this hasn't helped. I'm guessing it's somewhere in the settings but I am not great with computers! So if anyone can help I'd be VVV gratefull! Clare

I have set my browser on my Macbook Air to remember my location permanently, it's not working?

I run a directory that uses the Geolocation when a use visits, I'm on the browser at the correct url, but the location search bar has a small symbol in it, when I click on it it says. "Your local browser settings have prevented location targeting'

Although I have my browser set to remember locations as per the image.

Why is this not working, I have uninstalled the browser and downloaded a new version with no change.

I am on version 10.0.1 (64-bit

Thanks

I brought a new system with latest OS Big Sur, I'm using Firefox v49.1 (required version) for my official purpose. So I installed this version in my Mac and it works smoothly, suddenly it quits and showing crash alert. I reinstalled again and again, but it's not worked. I fed up with this issue. Please guide me to solve this. Previously I was using Mac with High Sierra OS. That time I haven't face this issue ever.

I used to LOVE Firefox, but I'm getting frigg'n irritated by it right now. Chrome and Safari both open this page. I had this same problem a few days ago, was sent a long list of possible ways to deal with it that were all over my head complicated. I chose the simplest one- to clear caches, and it worked! yay, for a couple of days, now the error is back. I there must be a different solution , or cause, than the cache one - What needs to be turned on or off, so this doesn't happen? Too complicated, too frustrating.

I'd love it if someone could give me some more ideas on this. Macbook Pro 16" 2021, IOS Monterey 12.1

Thank you!

Whenever I try to sign into Outlook Webmail (https://outlook.office.com/), Firefox crashes. I am on a MacOS Monteray (12.2.1). I have cleared all Firefox caches and cookies. I have completely uninstalled and re-installed Firefox. I have run it with my usual extensions, and completely clean, without any extensions and just the default settings.

The initial login page loads fine, and I type in the email address associated with the account. This takes me to the password page. If I type in an incorrect password, the site tells me so immediately. If I type the correct password, Firefox crashes--I get the spinning beachball cursor and (application not responding) in the dock. My only recourse is to force-quit Firefox.

Outlook webmail used to work fine in Firefox--I used it on this very machine nearly every day. The only change was that I recently had to update my email password. But again, I have had to do that every three months for years and have never had any problems.

Outlook webmail works just fine on this machine in Safari and Chrome. It's only Firefox that has any problems with it.

Any ideas about how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

My Mac: macOS Monterey 12.5.1 Firefox: 105.0.1 Since I updated my system Firefox has trouble loading and closing some pages, especially my BOA and ATT.net email accounts. Any thoughts on why this is happening and what to do about it? It's especially concerning with the sites I go to to pay bills.

ATT.net I can sign in OK but then I get a page that says redirecting and it never loads. When I use Chrome, I'm not having a problem. All my bookmarks are set in Firefox so I'd rather not have to change them all over to Chrome. I can sign into my BOA account with no problem. When I sign out of BOA I get a window with a spinning dial that says signing out please wait but it never stops, leaving me wondering if it's exposed.

Thanks, Marnie McNamara

Now as shortly after video starts to lord, I get a message in a box that says I need to upgrade Firefox to play this video. I have checked the "about Firefox" tab and it says I am up to date. I am running 91.4.0esr and checkbox says I am up to date. ????

OK, I'm not a techie, so forgive my lack of accurate vernacular here, but I was a happy-go-lucky Mozilla supporter and user on all my Apple devices up until recently. I have no idea if there's a causal relationship here, but the serendipity seems to be something worth mentioning.

I signed up for the Mozilla VPN offering in October of 2022. I did not work well enough, and again, I'm a novice at such things, but I stopped using it within a week. Around the end of December, the Firefox browser has had serious problems where it would constantly crash on just about every page, sometimes multiple times. After a few days of that, I trashed the version I had and downloaded and installed the newest version just last weekend (01 JAN 2023). That lasted a few days, but now, all of a sudden, it will not open at all. I click the icon, it bobs twice, then nothing happens. The right-click "open" feature did likewise. I trashed that too and I am unwillingly to try again until I hear some feedback on this from subject-matter experts, if possible.

With my phone and iPad things are working just fine, so it must be my 5-year-old iMac that has been updated to version 12.6.2 just yesterday. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I was using Ghostery and every other security feature I could find with Firefox, but in this age of Surveillance Capitalism, who knows what works anymore.

Thanks in advance, and wishing you all well in every way, sincerely.

I use a 2017 Apple Desk top Retina 4. I just made Firefox my default browser, trying to allow all cookies for my online banking with dollar bank. I have always had this account on Firefox, since 2020, but for some mysterious reason after successfully logging on, with access to all my data, I am automatically logged out as soon as I select Pay My Bills. Advice from dollar customer service is not helpful. I don't want to erase all my cookie/cache files. (pop up windows are allowed). Are there steps I should take to be sure all cookies are allowed for this particular site? Ventura 13.2.1 is the latest Apple OS.

Hi! I have the Firefox browser on my MacBook Pro and I also use the Mozilla VPN. I’ve been trying to sign into my Firefox account for several weeks now and keep getting a ‘Cookies and local storage are required’ error message. The problem is that cookies are already enabled. I have tried restarting, updating the browser, doing it with the VPN on and off, listing firefox as an exception, and everything else I can think of. I’m currently entering this on my phone, because the browser also won’t let me sign into my account on my laptop without enabling cookies and local storage.

Any suggestions? I keep getting stuck in a loop.
