Either recommend an extension/helper or do a redesign for laptops. I've seriously been looking at abandoning FF but I've been using it for so long now that the idea of learning a new one isn't cute. Three stacked banners at the top leave a pretty small area for what I want to read/do. Full screen is nice but then the bookmarks vanish. Please for the love of FSM do something about this before I'm forced to leave.

After the last Firefox update (146.0), my bookmarks bar only shows thumbnail images. The descriptive text which was previously black text on white back ground now appears to be white text on white background. (Whether my system is set to light theme or dark theme.) This happens on all of my Windows computers (both 10 and 11). How do I resolve this problem?

Since update 140.0, the side panel is dark (no problem), but the text is black instead of white!!! Which makes reading black on dark is very complicated... Could you fix this problem with a new update? Thank you so much in advance.

Как поменять данный цвет на менее контрастный ? У меня включена "темная тема", цвет выделения - ядовито-голубой. Хочу изменить его на другой более мягкий цвет. Как это я могу сделать?

Today I updated Mozilla Firefox to version 146.0 (64-bit). After the update, the highlight color of the tab I just opened appeared in the bookmarks bar (Cntrl+B) in an unwanted way (see screenshot). How can I change this color to a less contrasting one? I have the "dark theme" enabled, and the highlight color is a bright blue. I want to change it to a softer color. How can I do this?

After a recent update, the bookmarks menu changed—when you click a certain line, it glows bright blue. I understand this is for ease of use while using bookmarks, but I'm used to leaving this menu open all the time, and after these changes, the blue glow is very distracting.

In light of this, I'd really like to know how to restore the old display, or, if that's not possible, I'd like to see special personalization settings for this type of thing in future updates.

I'm using W11 & Firefox/Mozilla 'Version 146.0 (64-bit)' in ‘Dark Theme’ - my sidebar bookmark in use is now 'highlighted in BRIGHT blue' which is VERY ANNOYING - can I get rid of this feature? Is there a way to adjust the highlight color/intensity? Please let me know. If there is no adjustment possible, please take care of this in your next version. Thanks, John

Firefox used to have my background colors, and on the latest update, my pull-down menu and tabs are robin's-egg blue. I can't figure out how to get my colors back, and I hate that color.

How the hell do I get back control over my colors?

In the previous version of Firefox, my Bookmarks folder was fixed in to the Sidebar so that when Firefox opened the Bookmarks were visible; how do I fix the problem?

Hi, I updated to Firefox 146.0 this past week and immediately noticed that the UI elements (scrollbars, sidebar, tooltips, etc) are once again in dark mode; the main websites window and the firefox settings remain in light mode (as set by my user preferences). I've been using browser.theme.toolbar-theme and browser.theme.content-theme to force light mode of all UI elements regardless of theme and as of this last update they have stopped working (editing them to any value of 0,1,2 does not make a noticeably change to the UI). What internal setting changed to stop firefox from using the browser.theme.(etc) settings and what can I edit to get them back? Thanks, Bre

As the title says , im really hoping for a small change that will happen from Firefox team or an addon , since i started using vertical tabs it was the best thing ever happen. however im really just hoping to have the option to increase the icon size of the tabs, i usually just have the icons showing without the name of the tab thing, but my only need is just to have the ability to increase the size of the icon tabs thats it

146.0 (64-bit) Windows 11 December 11, 2025 Turned on computer this am, Firefox webpage popped up telling me about what is in it's future but now my side bar is black print on really dark background. Help!

My Bookmarks Sidebar is now displaying with white lettering on a very light gray background, making it almost impossible to read. How can I change either the font color in the sidebar, or the background color?

How do I minimize the web page when I don't see the usual icon at the top of the page. Now, I've attached a screen shot that does not show any icon of other means of minimizing that screen. I'm running Windows 11 and WORD 2021.

With the latest update, no matter if I've got it set to light or dark, the sidebar text and background are almost the same color. It's unreadable. There is no way to change just the sidebar, and it ignores the light/dark setting.
