I have a task bar at the bottom of my screen -- or I used to. Ever since I installed a Norton protection program several says ago, the task bar shows up sometimes and other times, it is gone and I cannot access it. When it's there, it gives me access to the websites I'm using, all my written files and picture, video and other files, volume control and other options. I NEED TO SEE AND USE THIS TASK BAR ALL THE TIME, NOT SOME OF THE TIME WHEN FOR SOME REASON IT'S THERE. AGAIN, I WANT TO ACCESS THIS TASK BAR ALWAYS WHEN I'M ONLINE.

I have numerous profiles, and I have certain ones used to transfer updated files to the others.

The one thing I'm not sure about is browser settings transfer. Because some these profiles have different addons, I don't want their settings transferred, just the browser settings.

Which folder/file can I safely transfer for this?

Over the years I have accumulated important links in my Firefox Bookmarks bar and passwords file and it would be a disaster if for some reason my hard drive got compromised and I could no longer access them. Is there any way to copy the data to another set-up, independent of my laptop, from where the data could be retrieved in a usable form for display on another laptop or PC? Thanks.

Ever since the most recent update to Firefox I consistently get the following message when attempting to login to https sites which I have been connecting to for years: Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.att.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code:PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Clearly the problem is with Firefox and not with the website owner since it occurs with all websites.

I found over 100 instances of PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR but the few responses I looked at were back in 2021 or 2022. One solution suggested clearing the cache which I did and I was then able to connect. But now that does not help. Is my only reliable solution to delete Firefox and use some inferior browser?

I changed computers and created a login to save bookmarks, it looked like this was accomplished but now on my new computer and after I login in Firefox it asks me to import but fire fox is not an option.

Hello, I hope you can help me. I am trying to print from my email. I use windows 10. two different computers, two different printers, same issue. If I try to print an itinerary or anything that contains an image it does not print the image and only parts of the text. If i do it in chrome or edge it works fine. I am attaching an example with an Strava email. The first two pages are from firefox. the second two are from chrome. Even if I scale down the size in firefox, the image of the map does not appear. I print from the small icon to print within the mail, as it should be done. I tried most of what i know, and this is a firefox issue. Can you please help? many thanks and regards jean

your updates do not work and repeatedly we messages to update your browser that never does update! so do we have to delete this Linux program to replace it with something that actually works or are you willing to fix the glitches in your system?

I am running Linux Mint 19 and when I tried to activate the container extension some options were not selectable and a msg appeared at the top of my settings: "Your browser is being managed by your organization" I am a home user and never had anything to do with any corporate PC. The policy it lists is: disableappupdate true. Everything I see in the help database for this pblm pertains to Windows. As I said above I am running linux mint.

Logged into Twitch, can see and type in chat, but video and audio do not work. This happens on my Main Twitch account as well as my alternate. I do not have this issue with Google or Edge.

obviously you think everyone is a programmer by the was your system does not work doing updates !!

I am hoping your not expecting an 80 year old lady to fix your lack of diligence? or should i just eliminate your program?
