since yesterday whenever I try to open Firefox, it just crashes immediately. I get the option to choose a profile but after I choose I see the window open very briefly and it closes immediately after and gives me the crash report thing. I don't want to reinstall as my data is on there and I'm not sure if it's linked to an account or no.

Hello, I've been watching MSNOW at 4pm eastern and after about half an hour it crashes. I get a message to send a report and restore the tab. I restore the tab which works for maybe ten minutes and crashes again. I am using Windows 11 on a new computer. I'd appreciate some assistance. Thanks. Bruce Caress

Hi The tabs have crashed notice keeps coming up on every change of page !!! I have the latest version installed with all my passwords saved, I am not a PC wizard so please explain how to solve this simply its driving me crazy !

I have today encountered a reproducible issue with Firefox 145.0.2 (64-bit) on my system (CachyOS Linux). Whenever I press the "Print" button in the printing dialog for a PDF file, the browser freezes and no longer reacts to anything. I had to kill the process manually and try again. I have then downloaded the PDF and opened a different application to print it - that worked fine. Is this a known issue with Firefox? Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

I already tried resetting the printer settings in the browser, but that did not change anything.

I have tried over several days to uninstall and reinstall Firefox to avoid tabs constantly crashing. While I've done this and multiple shut downs and restarts it continues to crash and can't figure out why. Please help.

No matter what I try to read or go to, Firefox crashes repeatedly. I literally cannot use it at all. I keep getting: Gah. Your tab just crashed. We can help! Choose Restore This Tab or Restore All Crashed Tabs to reload the page/pages.

Clicking those options fixes nothing! How do I go back to the previous version, please?

Since the latest Firefox latest update yesterday (02/24/2026), each time I try to open a new tab in Firefox it crashes. I get a "gah, your tab has crashed" message but when I hit the "restore" link nothing happens. How do I fix this at my end? Thank you.

I wasn't sure what to select for the type of question so you can move it if you think another type would be better. I would have selected crashes but that isn't an option.

It happened again a few minutes ago while watching Star Trek First Contact. The Phoenix was about to go to warp and Firefox CTD with no crash reporter and when I looked in about:crashes there was no crash report. This exact situation happened twice while watching the movie Signal unknown or whatever the title is.

Why do I have to keep signing up with you? What causes this? I"m happy with your service yet periodically, I keep getting transferred to Windows because Mozilla is not responding when I attempt to log on. Then it is necessary to go through the whole process of signing up again. Please bear in mind I am not computer literate. Thank you.

I have notebook no issues, My Desktop however I get tabs crashing with firefox, Apache Open Office but not with Doc files in open office and not with chrome and Edge they run without any issues. My computer is awsome it seems to me this version of firefox is either being pushed out or its not coping with large loads. I removed all of my 32gb ram tonight just to test the ram my ram is fine. I have Win 11 dell computer that does not play or pick up sound from web sites videos .I checked and tested my sound using the Microsoft platform & buy playing a disc. It works OK

The x appears in the tab, and when I click on it, the program disappears. I bring it back up and it repeats. Have tried closing the program, restarting the computer, using the Close Tab from the File menu, CTRL-W, yelling at it loudly, but nothing has worked. I cannot update the iOS in this computer. Firefox is up to date. Several programs I need can only run on Firefox , not Safari, so I need it. I now have so many open tabs that I can't find anything. HELP!

Hello. I have this problem for almost a year now. There are websites where my Firefox crashes constantly and I can't use it at all for browsing them. All such websites are mostly online stores where you can buy something by putting it into cart and then proceeding to order page. I can't even scroll through product pages, it crashes in second after opening the webpage. For example, ozon.ru

This happens in Troubleshoot Mode too.

Firefox is CONSTANTLY crashing now and I'm about ready to switch to another browser unless someone can give me a reason to stay.

Firefox suddenly crashes without any displayed error. Attempt to troubleshoot it in "safe mode" doesn't help (it also suddenly crashes.

• When I had redirected following output: "Exiting due to channel error."
• after restart, I launched "about:crashes", but there were no entries
