I am writing to request assistance with recovering my deleted browsing history for my Firefox account. On June 18, 2024, I accidentally deleted my browsing history and I am hoping there is a way to restore it.

Add old history to new

cor-el mentioned "The only way to merge history is by using Sync".

Does "merge" mean like it sounds, to combines the content, or does it mean the latest will overwrite the oldest, or one will overwrite the other under other conditions?

win10 last FireFox, how migrate all open tabs from one computer to another I cant find clear instruction or video, all they are old and mention about menu part which my vercion does not have.

Hello, this is josh, I have a dedicated website for my business and I use Firefox Brower. The problem i'm facing right now is the website isn't loading properly in the Firefox. Website isn't showing image and proper site. However, when i try to open the site in the other browser, it looks fine. what should I do, you please guide me.

Sync! Web site total muddle. WHO writes this stuff? All the info BUT what I need. I have ff on my pc and my iPhone. I want to see the same screen on both (sync) same research tabs to open. I am asked for my password but it is not recognized. But I am signed onto Mozilla! At Mozilla home page I see no sign in/sign or out the main home page. Where I can see "password” on it is hidden behind dots so I cannot verify. How to I sync so pc and iPhone show same page with same tabs? Where how do I SEE my password to verify it?

Ive tried everything under the Sun to try to get rid of that Annoying ( Sign in with Google) out of my computer but nothing works ?? Is there a solution ?? I cannot open most of my Sites with it there !! Anyone Please HELP !!

Hi, I did a clean install from win10 to win11, then installed firefox and logged in to my account but it havent synced anything? All my saved passwords and bookmarks are gone!?

Can someone please help me get them back! Does anyone have a solution for this?

Read something about that a backup is saved on your computer? Isnt saved to a cloud? Thats what a thought! I have done a clean install on a new drive, old drive i already wiped aswell! Doesnt have a windows.old dir or anything.

Please tell me everything isnt lost!

Can you suggest any functions or apps that I must or should avoid? It's important that I NOT use a VPN, and that I use 'open-source' in a probably 'shared access' situation. GRM PL

I have noticed in the help section that all sync data is removed if password is reset. I have just lost all my passwords, bookmarks, settings, everything, because I had to format my computer and didn't memorize my firefox password.

Is there any chance at all to have my data restored regardless? I understand I am at fault, but this outreach is my last hope, I guess.

Every time i setup a new Firefox install and login with my Mozilla account: my homepage configurations reset. I lose all my pinned shortcuts and the related layout settings.

And I doing something wrong? I install, make a few basic config changes in Firefox to match what I want, then I sign in, and poof: i lose my homepage on ALL my active sign-ins.

I was logged out of both computers so when I signed back in to sync my desktop to my laptop, it would not sync my rows that I have on my desktop I ended up changing two bookmarks on the homepage Rows when I was signed out but they would not change on my laptop when I was signed back in I had to do it manually, but if I stay signed in, I'm sure that it will change but how fast is it supposed to do that because I waited at least five minutes and nothing changed. I also clicked on my icon and clicked on sync now, but nothing changed.

Been searching. Updated firefox and lost passwords (across MacBook and iMac Firefox versions) so googled, went looking for logins.json etc files. No sign of them, and no firefox folder in applicationsupport/library on my Mac. Showing hidden files. About:profiles shows only one profile. No idea how I can restore things. Time Machine backup on desktop iMac has no firefox profile files. Where is the data please? Etc etc :O)

hi I reinstalled my windows recently. before that , i made sure im singed in with this email address to protect my passwords with firefox sync. (eb.movahhed58@gmail.com)

after installing the new firefox , i figured my passwords are gone and they werent restored from my account.

I am a single user of Firefox 123.0 (64 bit) on a Windows 11 desktop, Win 11 laptop, and Android phone. If I use Profile Manager to delete both of the the Profiles from my desktop ("default" and "default-release"), will that have any effect on my laptop or phone? Specifically, will I lose my passwords and bookmarks on all devices, or just the desktop?

Also, can I delete one of my two profiles? If so, which one? When I navigate to Users\Bill\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles, I see four folders:

Hi, Since the update today to 127.0 My sidebar bookmark will not load when I open Firefox. Here is what I have done so far,

Uninstalled Firefox and use the restore on reinstall. didn't work deleted the xulstore file in 3 location. didn't work Removed Firefox using Revo Uninstaller and installed from the local setup file. didn't work Uninstalled ad-ons that used the sidebar, IE Video DownloadHelper, Sync my account, and tryed the step above again. didn't work I use Revo again and did a search for any firefox file, deleted old firefox folder on desktop and any file I could find with a link to the browser. Reinstalled from local file.

When Firefox started this time there was no profile to log in my account "" password etc "", I did a test and the sidebar was working correctly. I then activated my account and the side bar stop working on restart. Not that I did a sync after removing a few ad-ons, see pic for left addons.

Using OSX 12.7.5 on two laptops and a Mac Pro. Selling one of the laptops. Removed personal data for Firefox by 'trashing' the Firefox folder in Libaray/Application support. Then disscovered that the 'Privacy/Security' folder in both the laptop and Mac Pro were now empty. Nothing else affected. Went into TimeMachine and restored the entire Firefox folder from a recent backup. Privacy/Security folder not restored. Anyone have any ideas?

I have Mac, Windows, and Linux boxes. All show connected to Firefox Sync, however, bookmarks etc are only actually in sync between Windows and Linux. I've tried logging out on all devices, resetting passwords, reinstalling FF on the Mac. Can't seem to get it to work.
