The page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ai-chatbot lacks the list of data shared with the chatbot AI providers. It would be nice to know how it is done, how to review the data, and how pages can provide better data.

In the past 30 days I had these accounts hacked:

3 gmails accounts (all of them the hacker was using Firefox 50)

Microsoft account

Xbox account

Facebook

All my sites (Hostgator blocked my account)

I ran a antiviurs on my PC and cellphone, and nothing was found

Any ideas/suggestions?

Is it safe to have my passowords saved on Firefox?

My password saved are deleted every time I close FF. It used to be manageable because Google and other sites didn't require me to fill my passwords (cookies did the trick I suppose) but now I also loose access to gmail and Youtube every time I close FF. It's annoying to have to use 2FA every damn time. And keeping the passwords available.

I've tried every answer I found by looking around :

- tried to start in safe mode - disable hardware acceleration - I have no extensions

FF saves the passwords correctly (at least they appear in the saved password tab) but they are erased every time I restart FF. The cookies aren't automatically deleted (FF remembers my browsing history) but I need to relog into Google.

I getting frustrated.

Since the last firefox update, I cannot access the data at https://12580.portal.athenahealth.com/ . When I log in I get a graphic "can't load page". See attached file. Enhanced security is off and exception is set for this site. Popup blocker is off for this site.

It seems to me that Firefox's DoH implementation is not just pointless but actually harmful. It is security theater. Let me explain:

• There is no fine-grained control
• There is no ability for the user to choose what level applies to what networks
• Default Protection provides no protection when there is a canary domain (trivial)
• Increased Protection provides no protection when the default provider fails (trivial)
• Max Protection requires manual intervention when the default provider fails
• Bonus: it's inconvenient or impossible to use on mobile

For DoH to be useful, the user has to invest effort they could better spend setting up a proper system-level solution.

Often I can't access content indicated by a link in an article or email. I tried turning off the Firefox firewall, but it made no difference. Now I am unable to turn the firewall back on.

Malwarebytes keeps blocking Mozilla files that seem to originate from it's folder in my laptop as riskware. Is this something I should make exceptions for? Or is it riskware. I'm running Win 11

I've noticed over time Mozilla has become less focused on consumer privacy and more focused corporate interests.

My questions are to you developers of Mozilla.

Would you have reached success in the past using this model?

I've noticed a corporate trend of brands being consumer friendly in the beginning of their history then over time snubbing the customers in favor of getting paid to sell data to corporate interests, data brokers and government entities.

Should we trust you?

I've been using Firefox for almost 20 years and anyone can agree that this browser isn't getting better over time.

Can you provide a list of all the third parties you deal with selling our data?

I have a nagging feeling this isn't the browser it used to be and some of us will need to change to a less corporate focused browser to protect our data, since it seems you aren't interested in that model anymore.

My facebook account keeps getting double logins and ip4 logins rather than ip6 addresses. I think my ex-employer has installed a certificate into firefox on my laptop. I know absolutely nothing about certificates and have never knowingly installed one into my firefox web browser. But after looking I seem to have a certificate, is this certificate something that is allowing someone else access to what I view on my browser or allowing access to my cookies? Would users normally have their own firefox user certificate installed that they are unable to remove with a year on the date? I have added 2 screenshots. I am trying to have a biometric authorization with touch ID on Mac, and it says on the website that the option should pop up when i go to the password settings, but it doesn't, and I don't know how to do it otherwise, or if I should use an extension for example. places.sqlite: this file records EVERY website I've ever visited in a db table! This despite opting out of History and flushing daily It's frustrating that FF surreptiously collects such personal info. Why record every site I visit, date-timestamps, frequency, etc.?

As test, I changed the name to places-sqlite.old to see if FF will create a new one It didn't make a new table; re-created the old one.

I need to update FF because of the expired certificates, but would like to clear these out first. Similarly, can I get rid of the icon database? My bookmarks are backed up as JSON and HTML files. I just wished they didn't contain extraneous info

I'm trying to setup MFA with DUO Mobile app, and I get past the part where I scan the QR code successfully. However, when it requests that I then enter the code generated by the app it rejects the code each and every time. My DUO app (on iPhone) is updated to the most current version as of today (6/30/2024), and my iPhone is updated to most current iOS version for iPhone 13, as of today. However, after multiple attempts the issue persists.

OK, I have Firefox (Windows 10 AMD64, desktop) configured to delete history when I close it.

So, I see that regular webiste cookies are deleted.

But are the HSTS website "super cookies" deleted?

Heard this new guy thinks AI slop is the way to go: I dropped google and chrome because of this YEARS ago, even before the obscene direction 2025 has brought. when i download something from my mozilla private browser and close the browser, the downloaded data automatically disappear from download folder. is it a common feature.

I'm now switching to chrome as I don't want things just showing up in my browser. You must be stupid to think dropping things nobody wants into your product will make people want to use your -->
