When the Global Privacy Control request is checked (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-privacy-control?as=u&utm_source=inproduct) a persistent bubble appears at the bottom of the page indicating the request has been accepted. The bubble is annoying. Is there a way to continue to use this feature without the bubble appearing?

On Windows, any notification coming from any Firefox extension, appears to be coming from the Firefox app. It would be cool to add a feature under (Privacy and Security --> Notification settings --> See attached image) that would allow to specify which extensions are allowed to send notifications and which are not.

Is there a way to adjust the timing of notification banners being display in the lower right of my screen... I notice that notification for "X (Twitter)" only last a few seconds, which is fine... but YouTube notifications will not disappear unless I select "Dismiss". I looked at Notification setting but don't see anything that seems to address that. Thank You

Good afternoon. I now have all my firefox push site notifications set to come through on the desktop even if the browser is closed. However only when I open the browser do the notifications come across as banners and show in the action center on the desktop. How do I have them show without accessing Firefox? Thank you.

www.usatoday.com Keeps sending notifications through Mozilla. when I click on "disable notifications" it only opens up a new tab to the site. I checked my homepage settings and as far as i know i have not installed a USA today extension. How do I make this go away? I would straight up block the domain if I knew how.

I found it in privacy /security> notifications and eliminated the website. This may have fixed the issue? I do not recall ever allowing the site to give notifications in the first place. is there a way to lock this domain out completely?

How do I ensure that I receive email notifications when there's a response to a question I've posted on this forum?

In my profile settings, "edit settings," I've checked the box "watch forum threads I start," and in "manage watch list" I've checked "questions."

I see I've received a response to a question I posted, but I've received no email. How do I ensure that I receive emails?

"Email me when someone answers the thread" on this page has also been selected.

Also, why are their two separate setting sections as noted above? And why am I only subscribed to the one question (under "manage watch list") I posted earlier today when I've been subscribed to my previous questions in the past? I can't even find an option to subscribe to my other previously asked questions.

Hello,

I disabled the AI summarizer almost immediately after seeing it because:

  1. It was not able to summarize the page
  2. It blocked the information I actually needed to see on the page

However, shortly after disabling it I got a pop-up ad advertising the feature! (attached)

Related Question: Want to remove or disable AI summarizer

Is there a specific name for the Firefox notification bar, other than that? NOT anything to do with popup blocking. The same bar that has the "mailto" handler pop up that appears beneath the address bar. All I can find is information related to website popup blocking which is obviously no help at all.

Thanks, Frig

All of a sudden the allow location permission window is popping up repeatably. I have the option turned off and every time I go to Amazon or Home Depot or any such place the window ops up requesting that location location tracing for the sites. [I am not sure this question is for Settings. None of the categories offered really seemed to fit this issue very well. Suggestions for re-posting are welcome.] On Firefox for Mac, Apple now has a pop up bubble to display the requested six digit 2FA number, first in the upper right corner, then, annoyingly, repeating often in multiple additional useless places on the screen, whether or not the code has already been used. The Apple community says there is no way to block this misbehavior through Apple, except disabling all 2FA, which is a bad idea. Is it possible to block the multiple appearances of 2fa code advisory bubble all over the place through Firefox controls? This problem reportedly does not appear on the native Mac Safari, nor reportedly on Chrome. I got to admit, I don't sign into Firefox, and not being forced to do so is a Firefox attraction for me. ]
