Now it takes 3, 4 or more attempts to upgrade Adobe. Firefox thinks I am running LINUX now, when I hardly know how to SPELL "linux". So I change that and download the "correct" version. Then that completes and gets stuck on this screen with NO OBVIOUS EXIT MECHANISM: "Hey buddy! you wanna buy a subscription to BOX LIGHTER AND ONLINE PAINTING (or somesuch). The only apparent choice is to click the BUY button. I have to close the window.
Now I am back at the screen telling me that I have a dangerously outdated version of Flashplayer: mozilla
Check Your Plugins
Keeping your plugins up to date helps Firefox run safely and smoothly.
Well, updating the plugins broke more than I even know. Now I get error messages saying it can't install because JAVA is dangerously out of date. Well, it IS NOT. I updated it more than 2 versions of ADUBBY FLUNK PLANER ... sorry ... adobe flash player ... upgrades back. Now Firefox is pretty useless, because what was running JAVA just fine 1-1/2 hours ago will not run b/c JAVA is "out of date". But, oddly, the plugin check and update screen doesn't say a thing about it. Just that jinxed snail player.
I like firefox. I've always used it and chose to use it above MSIE and "chrome". Now, it seems, I have no choice but to use either of the formers.
Oh, yes. I did re-install Firefox, and currently running V.35.0.1.
