Facebook simply isn't loading in Firefox anymore - it loads in Edge on my PC just fine and on my Mobile Android Browser .

I've tried disabling all extensions, and clearing cache and cookies, but Facebook still refuses to load and returns the message, attached.

Hi, I'm using Firefox 142 on Ubuntu 24.04. It's a fresh install. I cannot sign in icloud.com with Firefox even though it works with other browsers like Brave. I deleted all cookies and site data and disabled extensions (KeePassXC). It doesn't help. I tried in new private window. No success. I copy my password from a password manager, so, no, I haven't mistyped it.

Here's what I do:

1. Open Firefox and go to icloud.com
2. Click on the "Sign In" button
3. Enter my Apple-ID and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Email or Phone Number" field

At this point Brave behaves differently than Firefox. See below for how Brave behaves.

Firefox: -> A "Password" field appears (no buttons "Continue with Password" and "Sign in with Passkey")

1. Enter my password and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Password" field

-> Error message "Failed to verify your identity. Try again" appears. See icloud.png

Brave: -> Two buttons "Continue with Password" and "Sign in with Passkey" appear. See icloud-with-brave.png

1. Click on button "Continue with Password"

-> A "Password" field appears.

1. Enter my password and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Password" field

-> 2FA code is sent to my iPhone -> "Two-Factor Authentication" form opens... etc. complete sign in successfully

Unfortunately I cannot attach the HAR file from the login sequence because the password is included. However, I attached some screenshots from the Web Developer Tools. It seems to me that the login flow with Firefox is broken. I can't tell who's to blame, Apple of Firefox. The error message with Firefox is always the same, no matter whether I enter the correct password or rubbish. In Brave, however, there is a more precise error message when I enter a bad password. I'm having issues using Firefox with the Facebook site. Groups are slow to load and sometimes the chat and notification windows take forever to load with shimmering panels or a wait cursor displayed. I've cleared the cache and deleted the cookie, but that didn't rectify the issue. I don't have a problem with Edge.

Hello, I am no longer able to sign into my Apple iCloud account and tools (Mail, Calendar, Notes, etc) through my Firefox browser. The problem started this past Friday, and it happening on both my home office and work laptops. When I switch to my Microsoft Edge browser on the same 2 laptops, I am able to sign-in to my iCloud account and tools without any difficulty. So it is not a problem on the Apple iCloud side. I am able to access my iCloud account and tools/apps from my iPhone and my iPad as always. It is only when I try to login from a Firefox browser window that I get a "Failed to Verify Your Identity" error message.

Last week we lost the progress bar at the bottom of videos on Prime Video. When I cursor over the bar it returns Infinity:NaN:NaN. Switching to MS Edge and the progress bar appears as normal. I get the same results in Firefox on both my PC and Laptop. I have updated and reinstalled Firefox to the lastest version. I have NOT added any new extensions in the last year.

we use fire fox for all our bookmarks. We are unable to login to our bank of America account, it shows our ID but it will not allow us to enter any password.

I have been trying for WEEKS NOW to sign into my bank! The bank can use a TEMPORARY password to access my account but once that's over, when I try to log into my bank I STILL CANNOT LOG IN!!!!!!!!!! WTF has happend to Firefox after that last "update" what ever it was they changed, made it IMPOSSIBLE for me to log into my BANK. The problem is NOT the bank it's FIREFOX & FIREFOX NEEDS TO FIX THIS CONNECTIVITY PROBLEM SOON IF NOT SOONER!

Evidence: The two attached images provide a clear comparison:

   Image 1 (Firefox 142.0): The CAPTCHA area is completely missing or fails to load, showing only a broken element or empty space.

   Image 2 (Other Browsers / Older Firefox): The CAPTCHA renders correctly and is fully functional, confirming the problem is isolated to the latest Firefox update.

Conclusion: This indicates a specific compatibility bug introduced in Firefox 142.0, rather than a general website or user configuration error.

For months now, I've been trying to use different websites from Netflix, Spotify, YouTube, and my Google account and Firefox blocks access to all of them. I always get the error message "The page isn’t redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." I've been forced to use Microsoft Edge for many basic websites and it's really frustrating. Please help.

Firefox now takes forever to load Facebook. I tried resetting it but no joy. Duck Duck Go and the Microsoft browser are all much faster loading Facebook. Why is this? Can anyone help?

I am suddenly unable to login to my iCloud account using Mozilla Firefox. I was always able to do so before now. I am able to login using Microsoft Edge browser. I have disabled the Firefox pop-up blocker but still not working. When I input my username and password, iCloud sends me an authentication code... but that next pop-up screen from iCloud having a place to input the code does NOT pop-up, so I cannot enter the code. That pop-up screen comes up in MS Edge. Any help is appreciated!! I'm running Windows 10

Using Firefox--When I try to access the daily set of images that comes in an email representing memories for this day which is pulled from my Onedrive Photos, all I get is a dark blank screen with a subtle pulsing wave as if it is searching.

I get the same thing when I go directly to my OneDrive Photos and try to pull up the daily photos there.

However, changing browsers and using Google Chrome--I can view the images in the memory email as well as those on my OneDrive directly

What does Chrome do that Firefox is not?

I recently had another browser related issue on a different problem trying to register online with Directv which would not complete with Firefox but when I used Google Chrome instead of Firefox, it worked.

This made me wonder if the above OneDrive image problem might be browser issue. Sure enough, it was.

I really prefer Firefox and I do not want to have to go to Chrome.

При попытке авторизоваться на сайте reddit.com сайт выдает ошибку "неверный логин или пароль", но при попытке входа на reddit.com в приватном окне ошибки не возникает и авторизация проходит без проблем, то есть логин и пароль 100% верны.

Было проверено на версии 143 и 142. Так же пробовал заходить из только что установленной версии Firefox без изменения настроек и установки дополнений - никакого положительного результата и все та же ошибка авторизации.

Один раз удалось авторизоваться на сайте в обычном окне браузера, но я предварительно что-то изменил в настройках и к сожалению не запомнил что изменил. И я не помню что сделал после (менял ли настройки, переустанавливал ли браузер), но авторизоваться после того случая больше не удавалось, может настройки ни на что не повлияли. Не понятно с чьей стороны эта проблема: браузера или сайта. В других браузерах (Chrome и Edge) такой проблемы не возникает.

Will Firefox ever be updated to use end to end encryption so that users of Facebook Messenger can do audio and video chats as they did before META's change?

If not, Mozilla could lose a lot of Firefox users of Facebook Messenger. That includes me. I have been with FF since v0.93 :-P

Messenger audio and video chats work fine on several other browsers including Brave. There is even a Messenger App on the Microsoft store.

I would really like to see someone at Mozilla answer this.

This is about Hotmail.com/Outlook.com, the web email version.

My hotmail.com email is set up so I don't have to sign in on my laptop. Of course, if I delete my history, then I do have to sign in, but I always check the box so I can skip the sign in page.

The other day, I did a Windows Update (Windows 11). That's all. I did not delete my history or anything. But I had to sign into Hotmail. And yes, I am clicking "Yes" to skip the sign in page.

Turns out, I don't have to sign in when I use the same Firefox browser that I signed in on. But if I x out of my browser, and open up a new browser, I have to sign in. It was never like that. I was always able to skip the sign in page.

I thought this was a Microsoft Issue, but I am skipping the sign in page using Chrome. So it's a Firefox issue.

So what is going on? And how do I skip the sign in page even after I open a new browser?

This started happening recently, in the last 30 days. Gray screen is shown when I clink on any photo in "Your memories from this day" email from photos@onedrive.com. If I go to OneDrive, then select today's date the issue is the same.

I've tried the same actions in Chrome and the photos are shown without issues.

Can someone help with this?

When I try to sign in to my icloud account the account authorization won't pop up at all. I've tried restarting my pc and everything. I'm using Fedora Linux version 42 Workstation edition.
