HI I want to change my Firefox Account email to a new one because my email [email removed]@gmail.com has been hacked and i want to change it to my new email: [email removed]@gmail.com

Please help me change my email address. I lost access to the old email i am using as primary. Problem is i cannot make any change to my account without changing my primary email

Firefox is sending notifications to an old email address. In my profile, the address is [email 1 removed]@live.be, but I'm receiving notifications at [email 2 removed]@skynet.be. Can you fix this?

I have a problem, i have yahoo account that because of tje 2 way auth being 2 phone numbers that i lost and as mail recovery was one email to each other practicaly i lost any chance to log in them, my only chance is to gve a phone on yahoo in us which i cant afford, i need to change the email from my firefox account so i can still use it, im ready to prove in any way that is my account, i send this from my phone that im using for a long time, ao whqt can i do? The mail i want to change it too is [edited from public] @yahoo.com, pls hlp

I would like to change my primary email on the account and my profile shows that there is currently no secondary email. I keep inputting a secondary email address that I could then reset to be the primary but Firefox keeps responding that the proposed secondary email is already confirmed by another user.

The proposed secondary email is under my full control and it would not be confirmed as a secondary email for anyone else. While attempting to solve this mystery, I did attempt to sign in under the proposed secondary email. I thought that if I were successful, I could close out that account. Unfortunately, while it appeared to accept the email address and a password saved on my hard drive, I also received an error message that said that I needed to sign in under the primary email.

The purpose for all of this is that I am changing to a new computer, will want to operate it without the old primary email address, and want all of my settings and history from the old computer to transfer over. Please advise. Thanks.

Original Firefox account uses an older email now defunct and is no longer accessible. Security code being sent to add secondary email address can't be completed as older email account isn't accessible. Suggestions?

My account has my primary email and it used to have my secondary email connected as well. I now want to create a new account with the secondary email so I can have another profile, so I deleted my secondary email from the manage accounts on my primary email. I ensured that this says it is removed on all devices and it is. But when I try to create a new account with that secondary email, I keep getting the error that I need to sign in my primary email and I am taken back to my profile with my primary email.

How can I fully detach my secondary email so that I can make a new account with it?

Hello, I simply need to update my email, however find no option to update it. Desktop Raspberry Pi 5 desktop OS Firefox Browser 141.0 (aarch64), Mozilla Firefox for Raspberry Pi OS, raspberrypios - 1.0 Here's what I see: attachment.

I did use yahoo email for long time but now I want to switch to g mail address for my own protection and will keep my home address and will use my personal information as is not further changes.

What is apparently the official Firefox policy is incredibly dumb:

They provide users with that ability to add secondary email addresses, recovery codes, and authentification, BUT they REQUIRE access to the primary email address to make the secondary email address primary.

IF the primary email address is unavailable, the secondary email addresses, recovery codes, and authentification are completely useless for making the secondary email address the primary one.

This supposedly provides "enhanced security".

Pro Tip: If you deny ALL internet access, you will be very secure on the internet.

Genuinely astonished that Firefox Support thinks this is not insane.

My Mozilla log-in address is an old one - I have changed my email provider from xxxxxxx@TalkTalk.net to xxxxxxx@outlook.com. Although I can still get into Mozilla I can't change my log-in to make other updates. The advice provided is to make a new extra login and then make that one the primary but it does not work.

For some weird reason, part of your system has mispelled my given name (and I'm definitely not in doubt about how to spell my own name - I've been doing it for ore than 70 years!)

Also, part of your system thinks I'm still on Windows 10. NOT true! I changed to Windows 11 well before the old system expired.

You have me perplexed.
