Hello, I've been experiencing some issues after updating to version 106. I can be watching a video, listening to a music of viewing a site and randomly, the browser would become unresponsive and freeze. The funny thing is that music or videos keep playing in the background and the RAM or CPU usage never goes down but I can't do anything. After a while if I try to click on the browser, it then brings up a popup telling me that the app is unresponsive and I could either wait or close the app. Previously I had waited for over 2 hours hoping that it would fix itself but that never happens. The only saving grace is that I am able to restore my previous tabs after closing Firefox but tabs on my private tabs are gone forever (P.S. It's not p0rn but site that i don't want cached on my browser). This started from me updating to version 106 and currently am on 106.0.2 but the issue persists. I was hoping someone can assist me with this as I do prefer using Firefox.

Since the latest version of FF was installed. I can rarely make attachments to emails or upload to websites. I'm having to use another browser for this purpose. I never had this issue until this version. Nothing else on my PC has changed.

Hi there, like it says. My firefox crashes immediately upon trying to play a video. Even simply scrolling over a video on youtube or google results, it breaks when it tries to the preview. This is the same on Twitter, Facebook, Campus Moodle, etc. Every website I use.

I've had this problem before and I did fix it by totalling wiping my history and browsing cache. Doing that and having to sign back into everything is super tedious though and I don't want it to keep happening. This doesn't happen when I use firefox's troubleshooting mode, everything works as normal and videos play without the browser crashing. So I think it must be something specific to my browsing history somehow? But I've no idea how that could crash the browser just from trying to play a video.

Every month or so, I believe it's everytime there's a new firefox update, my firefox brower stops working. Pages go into perpetual loading mode, and if i close firefox and start it again it says these pages aren't able to be opened.

I want to report an issue with the Firefox 102.4 ESR for Linux.

System: OS: Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit)

An Addon called „ebesucher“ is installed and in use. This addon always visits a new website within a few seconds and that’s it, nothing special. Sometimes Firefox working for a long time, but sometimes it crashes within an hour more than one time.

So, I want to know why and is it fixable? It’s a very annoying issue.

since the last redevelopment of Mozilla Firefox I am having trouble exiting both my private and non private browser. I want to uninstall Firefox and re install it to see if that gets rid of the gremlins.

My firefox browser keeps crashing 7-10 times everyday . Sometimes it forces me to reset firefox then login back to my google accounts and extensions . It is very frustrating to login everyday specially google accounts as it requires 2-Step verification .

I feel nostalgic using firefox because I have been using firefox since my childhood started from 10 years ago when I first start browsing in the internet . I have not moved to any other browsers ever since . It might found to be a bit funny that I grew some emotions using this great browser and I believe the issue can be fixed .

If the crashing issue is not fixed then I am afraid that I may move to using other browsers and that looks a lot easier than facing the issue .

I am using firefox for windows on a 64bit windows 11 pro . System info screenshot will be added with this report . Please consider my situation in a bit serious matter and hopefully I will get your response asap .

I can't seem to be able to apply the latest update of Firefox. It got downloaded and it's updating but won't finish the process. My computer even crashed during it and said "your computer was shot down because of a problem." It restarted itself and when I go back and click on About Firefox it still says "Applying update." How do I fix this problem? I'm on iOS Catalina 10.15.7
