Hi! I often open many tabs in one window. The problem is that all the tabs do not fit in the tab bar. In another browser, the tabs get smaller as I open new tabs, and they all fit in the tab bar. In Mozilla, I have to use the arrows to move the group of tabs and find the one I need. This is not convenient. How can I make all the tabs fit in the tab bar?

My selected topic "settings" actually does not really describe my tabs problem. Even though I followed instructions for entering "about:unloads" the expected webpage did not appear. All I got was the same instructions and not a page that included the table and its unload button that was said to be above it. When I select the New Page tab and right click and then select three tabs, the right-click menu only shows the option to "close three tabs." There is not an option to unload three tabs. Yikes! And when I select one tab and click on the one option to unload one tab, the selected tab does not unload. The tab does not unload. The tab does not unload. It is still there. (???) This is very frustrating! I can only close tabs. So far I can only temporarily close them. Could the problem be that I am still using Windows 10? Please advise. Hello, I closed my browser, expecting it to save my current tabs as it usually does. When I reopened it, the tabs were gone. They were important for me, and some of them were pretty old so I can't find them in my history. I tried checking the "recently closed tabs" option, it didn't help. There was also no option to restore the previous session. Can you help me restore my lost tabs?

I know this is probably not possible, but thought I'd ask.

My example would be my pinned email tab. Is there some way to create immediate access with a shortcut, rather that a bookmark, or having to navigate to the beginning of the tab session?

I want the browser's tab bar to display like the homepage, instead of disappearing after opening a webpage tab bar. I don't know if I can accurately express my meaning, but I will attach two pictures

im having issues with my tabs as there are now two sets of tabs one that is empty basically and seems to be treated as the main one and the other that is all my other tabs... but when i try to switch to them it switches my screen so other apps like games or messaging apps no longer are visible yet the still appear to exist

There is no longer a 'search tabs' symbol at the top section of the Firefox browser page since I switched to the vertical sidebar for tabs and after searching for help the Mozilla suggestion of ctrl+B just tries to search bookmarks. Please can you help as I have many many tabs always open and use this symbol frequently. Thankyou

Every time I close and reopen the browser (and then check the Process Manager), all my pinned tabs are there and taking 20-30 megabytes each while I didn't click on them and they're supposed to be unloaded after startup

None of the unpinned tabs are in the Process Manager

How do i stop this?

If you close a tab that is next to one or more unloaded tabs, firefox jumps those and opens the next one that is loaded. Is there a way to disable this so upon closing it would open the right tab, whether loaded or not. I tried "Select After Closing" add-on, didn't fix it. Disabled Auto Unloading via about:config, same result.

I lost my tabs. Firefox has been opened and closed several times after losing tabs. I went here https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. I was able to find the file containing my lost tabs, it is sessionstore(1706800631216_9931f324-5558-4488-a36c-a5b3cb9e8c54_event_jsonlz4).json What do I do with this file now? Thank you.

Hey there, I had two windows in firefox open, one of which had a lot of tabs. I was using firefox on my surface pro, and then got up to get a snack. I came back, and the window, which I had been using for some time, was gone. The other window was still open, and firefox had not been closed. I thought I would just open it up by restoring recently closed window, but it was gone. I routinely clear my history, but even tabs that I just had open 5 minutes ago are missing from my history, like I never opened them in the first place. What is going on?

Hi, I have a large number of tabs and also have pinned tabs. When I click a link outside of Firefox (FF is my default browser) it always opens them at the end of my tabs (on the far right). I would prefer that the newly opened links open at the beginning of my tabs (the far left) but just after my pinned tabs. Is there a was to do this?

I've been using tab grouping and it is really helpful.

But this morning when I created a new tab group called "MISC" I was unable to add any tabs to it.

1. I noticed that this new group happens to be the 11th group I've created. So I'm guessing that there may be a limit of ten groups. Am I right?

2. And now, some hours later, I see that the new MISC group does appear on my tab bar, but one of my old groups, TECH, has disappeared, but its contents seem to have been added to the MISC group.

After updating to version 138.0, the browser put up an announcement page that informed me that I now have access to a great new feature, tab groups. It's actually a great addition to the browser IMO.

But it's absent. I read the announcement page, then the help page it links to. Every description is inapplicable to my browser, there us no drag-over behavior for tabs, there is no "add tab to new group" option when right clicking. I updated to 138.0.1, same thing. There is a topic in Connect.mozilla.org about tab groups as a beta feature, and it's been up in beta since March. But my browser does not have it.

Granted, the help page vaguely says that no all users will see this feature as it's rolled out gradually until May 6th. But why then tell me that I already have it on update? And why is it rolled out gradually if it's already been in beta?

I use Chrome and Firefox as my browsers all the time with Firefox the default one. In Chrome i use Voice Search when I'm tired and can't be bothered typing. I have not being able to use voice search in Firefox and all my attempts have failed. Last week I saw Google Voice (https://workspace.google.com/products/voice/), downloaded it but discovered it is not available to use in my Region. I gave up and resigned myself to typing in Firefox. A few days layer I noticed a 'G' tab with my open tabs. When I closed it another one appeared and I could not get rid of it. The X to close the tab is missing and when I use close tab from the right click menu the 'G' tab closes but another one opens beside it. I didn't subscribe to Workspace. If I copy the tab to Chrome I can delete it without it reopening.

# * # I just tried overwriting the tab with this message and then duplicated this Mozilla tab and was able to delete it without 'G' popping up again. I may have resolved the problem but if so I would like to know why it happened. I tried changing the search engines in FF and that didn't work. As soon as Google knew I was using Firefox they lost interest in helping me.

Have I missed a simple fix? Is there a way to have voice search in Firefox?
