I created an account with chat gpt with my google login. Lately, when I try to log into it using Firefox, after I click the "Continue with Google" button, I am redirected to https://www.arkoselabs.com/ !

After a few tries with the same result, I tried in chrome and had no issues accessing my account.

This one's stumpped me. I'm at a loss. Anyone else having this problem? Is it a redirect virus? Chrome is prone to the yahoo redirect virus. I'm wondering if this is similar or if there's somethin' wrong.

I am sick and tired of Firefox denying me access to common store websites. How do I turn off your firewall? I want to shop on Lowes.com and I cannot get access. Firefox is proving recently to be more of a problem than an asset.

I have installed FF on my new laptop and successfully signed in with my email and password. Based on this success, I have reinstalled FF on my desktop where sign in stopped working a year ago. And it still does not work, it keeps asking for master password. I cannot remove the account. The correct password, that works on the laptop fails to work on the desktop. Refreshing FF keeps one thing: the account. FF keeps bugging me about the master password on the desktop. And it does not accept the correct password.

This entire password handling is a great mess on FF.

What to do?

I can't get Amazon back as a search option Bing is one of the search options selected in search settings, doesn't appear.

If I install an older version will it be ok. Why do they keep installing new updates which cause issues with the one I am using. I installed Opera and will give it a try. Firefox keeps changing things that work.'bold text'

When I regularly clean out cookies, there is one that keeps showing up in spite of my trying to remove it. Info in that dialogue box says it has been with me for more than a week. Of course, I keep all regular Mozilla cookies, but this one is strange. It is 'about.ef2a7dd5-93bc-417f-a698-14c3116864f.' Can you tell me what this is?

In Chromium you can go a page backward or forward by swiping one finger to the left or right. This works really well. I have been missing this feature in Firefox for years now. Without it navigation in the browser is tedious on Linux tablets or phones.

Is something similar ever going to be implemented?

I have Firefox set to reopen everything that was open when it closed. That only seemed to work if I had one window open, but I usually have a half dozen or more open with anywhere from a few tabs to well over 100 tabs in a window. The most reliable way I found to have those all reopen was to restart my computer. Firefox would be closed, but next time I opened it all the windows and tabs were there again. I needed to close Firefox a few minutes ago and didn't want to save all the other programs I was in the middle of, so (I thought I had done this before) I right-clicked the Firefox icon on the Taskbar and told it to close all windows. When I opened Firefox the next time it only opened one window (unfortunately the least important one), and only had two other windows in the History | Recently Closed Windows (also not very important windows). Are there any backup or other files where I could get back the other windows I had open? Unfortunately if I have a tab open for a month, for example, it is not saved in today's tabs, and it's not feasible to scroll back through thousands of listings in the history trying to figure out which tabs I had open. I have trouble reading small, thin, and faint text.

I already use about:preferences, userContent.css, and userChrome.css to set my preferred fonts and font sizes. I think I can also use them to set font-weight.

But I want body text to be good and readable, and I still want bold text and header text to stand out. So I don't want to set *everything* to font-weight 500. So is there a way to set a range from 500 to 900, or a minimum of 500 but leave bolder fonts unaffected, or set everything which wasn't already bold to 500, and anything that was to 700?

When I sign in to new websites, they never do keep me logged in. I noticed this problem is present only for services that are working for my friends, that use other browsers, so they can keep users signed in. For the websites that I had been logged in before it stopped working, I'm still signed in and I can enjoy not having to log in every time.

I believe it all started happening when I cleared my cookies once, around half a year ago.

I did however check my settings, and I don't have selected option, that clears cookies after each browser session. My password saving feature works as well.

Dear Team, I am always facing problems when opening driverpracticaltest.dvsa.gov.uk link. the problem is with both windows and android. whenever I try to open the link it always shows error from website that they have blocked the website for security reasons. I have disable all the add-ons for this website but still get this error every time. Sometime if i do not get error it redirect me to the CAPTCHA verification but CAPTCHA never loads. no matter how many times we reload the website. I have to switch Edge just to open this website. please do something about it. Thank you

Back in November 2023 I had the misfortune of a software engineer not doing his job correctly and he reinstalled the OS on my laptop instead of repairing some software that wasn't functioning correctly. Mercifully, I have had Microsoft support working on recovering my data, which has proved a tremendous task. 4 months and counting.

We have now finally managed to recover my passwords for my browsers, but they are encrypted. Microsoft Support have therefore asked if Mozilla do a decryption tool as they cannot open the file without it being decrypted first. If I was using Microsoft Edge, they would have been able to assist as that is a Microsoft product, but as Firefox is a third party application, they've asked for assistance. By the way, these are NOT scammers or hackers 'helping' me, but Microsoft support and I get everything emailed about our support etc.

My update preference for Firefox is to download but I will install it. But it consistenly (over the last numerous updates) changes it to Automatic. I do not want Automatic updates. I want to control when it updates. I do not see this issue addressed anywhere. I have checked numerous times. Please help! My sincere thank you for your time and attention to my request for help. Whenever I log on to my bank's web site, I'm sent an audible signal that invites me to start a chat session with a bank agent. The problem is that the audible alert is so loud that it startles me. This is very annoying. I called the bank's help line and was told there was no way they could adjust the sound volume. I would like to know if it's possible for Firefox to decrease the volume for that web site.

I cannot open certain emails as they say "cannot open due to popup. block popup". I cannot find where to do that. I do not use chrome, which is how the computer says to block it.
