As the subject says Firefox very suddenly started giving me terrible loading times, despite all the sites working perfectly fine on other devices and browsers. Issue continued with troubleshooting mode, not sure where to go from here. I will open youtube, it won't load about 5 thumbnails, I click on a video and it sets it to 140p and then it still lags the entire video as if I was using 1kbps internet. I tested my wifi connection and its having no problems. Something similar happened when I used to use Opera GX, it was fine for a long time and then one day terrible performance. Please let me know where to go from here. Windows 11 Pro.

I've been struggling for months/years with tabs crashing. I just figured it was my particular combination of installed extensions and the websites I frequented because certain sites tended to crash tabs pretty often (e.g., HomeDepot.com), while others didn't (e.g., Lowes.com). However, I'm working more hours per day on my PC and have had the app crash multiple times in one day so I figure it's time to try fixing it. So... I made sure that Windows, FF, and my device drivers are up to date. I ran two separate malware/virus scans. The only third-party modules loading are from Intel (it's an Intel CPU and graphics adapter). I ran FF in Troubleshooting Mode, and the tab crashes continued, as well as an app crash. I have four crash report IDs from that event; I am sure it's these four because the Extensions tabs report "No extensions were installed." Three are out-of-memory, one is EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ.

I ran MemTest86 and it didn't find any memory hardware issues.

Since Troubleshooting Mode didn't reveal a misbehaving extension, do I still need to "Refresh Firefox"? Does anyone have suggestions for a next step? Thanks.

Cannot open website or log in from smile bank page. Been logging in ok for many years. Works on my android phone and other browser. Cleared history and caches as described and updated firfox recently https://bank.smile.co.uk/r/frmAccountProduct

Severn Valley RailCams With increasing severity, over the last few weeks I find that Firefox repeatedly hangs up when viewing one of these Railcams.. I have tried a few things to remedy this, none of which work, the hang-up occurs with the rotating circle, between 1 to a few mins after starting. This does not happen with any other video viewer, eg Youtube, or other Railcam. It does not happen at all in Chrome and yesterday I was using this for 4-5 hours! I have tried disabled add-on, no difference, clearing the data Cache, no difference.. In addition, on 3 or 4 occasions the Windows 10 PC freezes completely and I have to reboot.. ! unheard of! And, this also occurs on my Dell laptop under the same circumstances...

I have attached a screenshot of the problem with the SVr Kidderminster camera, see below, this was after viewing for something like 1-2 mins and, _very_ occasionally, this has caused a complete PC freeze and a reboot is necessary ..

Any idea whats going on?

Gmail doesn't open after updating to version 131.0

This issue is also with certain other sites.

New version (131.0) installed 10/3-10/4/2024. Los Angeles Times newspaper online suddenly won't work. I have been getting daily delivery of the Los Angeles Times newspaper for many years. It has always worked perfectly with Firefox up until today -- the day immediately following the overnight install of version 131.0 for the Mac on my computer. The daily edition comes with an email (gmail) that has a graphic depicting the front page of the edition and a notation that says something like "Read today's paper", which you can then do by clicking on the graphic of the front page. The app gives you an option of viewing either one or two pages at a time and allows you to turn pages by clicking on arrows on either the left or right edge of the screen. The reader can then navigate on the page by just grabbing the page with a click and hold. You can also select any article on the page by clicking on that article, which makes it appear in a window that works like a PDF of the article. You can also click on a copy icon to create a text copy of the article which you can copy and paste into a Word (or other word processing document). So I hope you will FIX YOUR APPLICATION.

I've come on to my computer today to find that whenever I open Firefox it is now adding another Firefox logo to my task bar, under which the new window is opened. I really want the window to be under the Firefox that is on my taskbar already. Right-clicking on the original one shows me all the possible things, like opening a new window or creating a private window, that I can do at a click, whereas the new one only gives me the option to close or pin it.

What happened and how can I fix it? My taskbar is already too full to have duplicate icons whenever Firefox is open.

131 installed. I now cannot read article in newspaper I subscribe to on line. Click 'read more 'and get warning notice pop up that I need to disable ad blocker or have no internet connectivity. Does not happen on Safari so not the newspaper or my Mac or the internet connection. Did happen trying to reach my bank account also. Did not happen before new version. I do not want to use SAFARI. IS this a bug in program? Is this because a few weeks ago I set no tracking feature and no selling data? Those seemed to have slowed performance but did not cause alert message preventing access. As elderly person, this is frustrating and scary and upsetting. Help appreciated. Wish Firefox had a place where users like me could list this sort of problem so we could feel like Firefox knew what we were experiencing when new version happens.. Something new: Last week when loading titantv.com Firefox crashed. Repeatedly. Sometimes before page completely loaded. Sometimes after loading and scrolling down page. Continues to crash every time I try to load that page.

Hello - I have Windows 7 and the recent Firefox Version 115.16.0esr update. As of today, the Firefox start page does not open completely (no images) and I can no longer access the internet through Firefox (error message - can't connect to the server). This message is displayed regardless of the web page I'm attempting to access and the network connection is good. In Settings, under Firefox Updates, the allowed option is to Automatically install updates when Firefox is not running and I've restarted the computer. Is there a bug with the new Firefox version or does Firefox no longer work with Windows 7? Thanks

My browser keeps crashing repeatedly without me seemingly doing anything to crash it. I ran it in troobleshoot mode and it crashed the same way. I ran anti viruses scans and got nothing. It crashes every 5 to 20 minutes and I can't do anything about it.

I am currently having an issue where 360 and vr videos are not showing properly on my Mozilla browser. They are able to play on Google Chrome, so I'm confident its not a hardware issue. But essentially, when I pull up a 360 video, the picture gets stuck on the first frame while the audio continues to play. Any support help would be greatly appreciated!
