Hello, I use Ufile for my taxes. They weren't bad a few years back. For the past 3-4 years they have been a problem with their website not loading properly. They want you to use Chrome (as do more then a few websites). I don't like Chrome for privacy reasons. What do you suggest I do? Load Chrome for Ufile and then delete it. Can you suggest a tax website that works better with Fire Fox? Open to suggestions. Thanks in advance. Bob

The website https://www.thehindu.com/myaccount/ does not open up in Firefox (129.0.1). But it duly opens up in Edge. I cleared the cache in Firefox and tried number of times. But the page expected to open a login page, so I even added pop-up exception for the web site. But it still does not open in Firefox. Opening the site in Edge was a cakewalk without clearing cache or adding a pop-up exception.

I keep getting a browser error message on a site that I use almost daily. I have cleared cookies and cache and run the troubleshooter but still get the same message. Thanks.

I hope this message finds you well! I use two versions of Firefox: the stable one and the developer one.

The developer version is set to start with the Windows start and is set to be minimized on the Windows try but since some years Firefox, as other browser do, never load the page or the tab content if the tab or the window is not active, been seen by the user.

I'm asking if there is some hidden settings in the about:config that allow me to disable this and let Firefox load tabs or page always, not only when the tab or windows is seen by me.

I'm not currently able to sign into my UK account using this link: https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/account/ When I type in my email address and click continue I just get a circular loading symbol going round and round forever. I'm able to sign in using the US sign in link for some reason. I'm not able to sign into Firefox overall though, so none of my bookmarks etc. are synced. I have tried on two different laptops a week apart with the same results.

Hi all

I used to firefox browser to read e-books but in editting as highlight any word in book you can't select it again via Cursor to copy it when you saved file.

I want to change this because we want quickly to select any word and copy it but highlight prevent us to copy words if we saved before the highlights on file.

And I wish you had supported EPUB file type to open It on browser like PDFs type.

I'm unable to watch videos on Crunchyroll. When I try to watch a video, the video becomes a static image of one frame. When I switch tabs and come back to the video, or hit refresh, it changes to the latest frame of the video but freezes once again. I have the latest version of Firefox and am using a Macbook. Per suggestions I have found online, I have tried disabling all my extensions, deleting my cache, deleting the Firefox folder in my ~/Library, making sure DRM content is enabled, and uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox altogether. Nothing works. Was hoping to switch over to Firefox since Google Chrome has banned ublock origin, but I keep running into these obnoxious video problems. The same issue also happens on Amazon Prime Video, but only when I press full screen.

When I'm on YouTube I can hear everything just fine. When I go to Chaturbate I have to turn the volume up to 100 and then I can only barely hear any audio. Can you help me fix this please? It might be something very basic that I'm missing, but how do I check volume settings for a specific website? Or is the problem something else? I appreciate any help you can give me. I have the latest Firefox update and can't find the above updates to install them. Please help. Thank you!

I get this sometimes when moving/backing up profile contents, even when the the eventual path of the moved contents will be shorter than the original.

I have a problematic profile, so I copied it's contents to another folder with a shorter title in the same directory, but I prevented from including the file in question.

In this particular situation, the file in question is an .html file opened in a session tab. I assume It's omission not going to be detrimental.

Has anyone seen this sort of thing occurring with files that directly affect profile operations? I'm wondering if that sort of thing might be contributing to my current recurring profile issues.

As the title of the subject entails, I am trying to disable Firefox's new translation tool, becasue I'm using a 3rd party extension.

I tried to follow the solution on the following support thread ( [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1434741#question-reply] ), but it didn't work for me, and I'm still seeing the new translate button.

Is there another way to fix this?

I'm using Firefox 129.0.1 (64bit) for MacOS.

It worked fine until an hour ago. I have tried restarting twice. Each time it works once then stops working. I have tried the about:config route and it didn't work. (It says "true"). Hope it can be fixed! If not I'll be going back to Chrome.

I had to uninstall firefox due to an error. I kept receiving an xulrunner error when I tried to open Firefox. I researched this and found that uninstalling the app fixed the issue. However, I have lost all of my saved passwords. Is there any way I can get them back?

I would like to be able to store a bookmark in more than one location. I don't believe this is possible since when I move my bookmark, it gets deleted where is used to be when I move it.

When trying to sign into a sweepstakes like HGTV Sweepstakes, the website will not show the "Fill-in the Blank" area to insert my email address. This happens in all the sweepstakes that I try to enter. If I use Microsoft Edge, the Fill-In Blank is there, but not when I use Firefox. It will work on my laptop in Firefox, but not on my desktop.
